All I can say is: I hope it's not real meat.
But it looks kinda cool though. xD

Still, it's pretty gross.

The message behind the reason she wore the meat was revealed in her interview with Ellen after the VMAs

she said that it symbolized that if we as a nation don't stand up for our rights or fight for what we believe in, we'll end up with as many rights as the meat on our bones.

to me, the message behind the meat is far greater than the criticisms people have been making, but then again most people are ignorant and don't like to think too hard about something that's beyond their own sphere of thought.

Of course it wasn't real meat, ugh, how stupid do you have to be to even think she walks around award shows decked from head to toe in real animal flesh?

Only as much of an ass as you would have to be to make that response. :yes

Anyway, I must have missed her last outfit, but I loved the first two! That's the kind of Gaga I like the most! She looked really pretty. :D :luv2

^Edited with link.

That's stupid. Why? I used to be able to do it.

GRACE 13th September 2010 10:07 PM

the dress is REAL meat, confirmed by MTV and Ellen, and the designer :l

Polyrhythm 13th September 2010 10:18 PM

Ewww thats gross. She seemed oddly emotional this year.....compared to last year's masked-face-barely-saying-anything attitude. This hairstyle looks way better on her....And Chelsea Handler was an awesome host.

ストロボ・EdGE 13th September 2010 10:35 PM

That's disgusting. I wouldn't want to sit down on the same chair after her. She was probably dripping at some point too. Gross.

She probably didn't buy it at the butcher's and stick it on her like that. I can imagine it's dried first, and she probably put some kind of spray or something on it to make it hard / dry and make it feel like fabric or plastic or whatever.

She probably made pretty sure she wouldn't leak.

First, that doesn't even make any sense no matter how hard you think about.

Second, It's disgusting, she's draped in death! Whether it is real meat or not, it is horribly disrespectful to animals. She's wearing their carcasses on her body and parading around for everyone to see her.

I'm a fan and like her music and everything but this outfit is a new low, even for her. And like GRACE said, she needs to have her mental health examined because no sane person runs around in an outfit made out of porkchops and bacon. If you ask me she's doing coke more than just a few times a year.

LOL at the end, but I do agree in general. Wearing an outfit made of meat has absolutely nothing to do with "standing up for your rights" and it really is disrespectful towards animals. Such a shame some animal had to die just so she could think she was cool standing up for something. :|

prussian blue 14th September 2010 03:17 AM

I feel sorry for cher, she's so gorgeous even she's 60 :luv2 and euww to the meat dress

ohsixthirty 14th September 2010 04:27 AM

about the meat dress...the point she gave to ellen about having the same freedom as the meat on your bones is so dumb. sorry. i'm pretty sure she made that story up after the fact.

in that case, how about having the same freedom as the animals that were slaughtered to make that dress, the ones that live and die on factories?

i'm a vegetarian, but the dress is pretty gross whether you eat meat or not. ugh. i really don't think its real...i just can't imagine how it could be. yuck yuck yuck!

Polyrhythm 14th September 2010 04:34 AM

^LOL....I hope you aren't offended but now that everybody's talking about meat.....your set kind of looks meat-ish too lol.
