SM keeps a short budget 'cause they know that even if they make a poor MV (just like Mr. Simple), ELFs are still going to buy whatever has SJ name on it, so it's kind of pointless to spend a lot of money, don't you think?

I'm not a SJ hater. I like some of their stuff (like Sorry Sorry and so on), but I didn't like Mr. Simple AT ALL. I think the music is weird, the MV looks like BONAMANA 2.0, and the choreo is the mix of everything themselves and 2PM have already danced imo.

But whatever, this is just my point of view. Sorry if I'm being to hard on them D:

Exactly this :yes. SM is spending their money on SNSD and their newer groups right now since Suju aren't as popular as they were before (their albums still sell because of their dedicated fanbase).
They're obviously playing it safe with the song and MV (It's basically Sorry Sorry 3.0) but I don't have high expectations for them anymore so I'm not disappointed, and we still got hot Suju in suits (SIWOON :luv2) and a catchy song so it's totally fine :laugh

I have no words...!!!! I'm SOOOOOOO in love with this PV. :heart I expected a lot, but I never saw this coming.

EVERYTHING about it is perfect. I LOVE (LOOOO~~VE! :love) the choreography and I really like the smooth outfits changes!!

And WAHHH~~! the boys look so good, all of them, but everytime the camera focused on Yesung I blushed (he is too good looking! :laugh). And Ryeowook honey...when did you start getting so sexy! :D

the video was good, less Colorful then i expected (I dunno if it was the music or the concept pics or a combo but i expected lots of color) still lovin' the song~ i love that Heechul got more screentime then usual~ :heart

^ I'm glad it was not that colourful! I was really afraid that SM might do something crazy (*teaserpics* :D). It could have been a bit brighter though in terms of light. The brown background for the solo parts is kind of ugly, but the outfits look great so I'm okay! :laugh

And about Heechul...am I the only one, who thinks that he is a bit...let's say lazy, when it comes to dancing (please don't kill me, it's just my impression of him!)?

A lot of fans are complaining that "Mr. Simple" looks too much like SuJu's other MVs. That might be true, but as long as they're dancing I'm satisfied! :laugh


Ah, I see. I was expecting something like that, I just don't like it. For me he somehow drags down the dancing of the whole group.
The others are dancing like crazy (as you put it so nicely) and he is just a little bit here and a little bit there. I always have to force myself not to look at him!

But well, if that's his style then be it.

Uh... I always thought of Bonamana as Sorry Sorry 2.0 both MV AND song-wise, so this is like Sorry Sorry 3.0 all around. And imo, even if you have a smaller budget, you don't have to make every single MV exactly the same. >_< There are a bunch of other things they probably could have done, but whatever. :P

^well, its SM :roflmao i don't expect good MVs when it comes to SM artist (well, maybe SNSD are a little better)
but most of SM mvs are just a white room and people dancing. oh, and the matrix effect :roflmao

yeah it really is just his style, even if you watch super junior interviews he's literally like the only one not smiling, he always looks like he hates the world and he doesnt put much effort into dancing, it could be that he just isnt that good of a dancer so he kinda just doesnt do it (like T.O.P from big bang) but the funny thing with heechul is that when he's by himself he is probably the brightest one, he makes lots of jokes and is very happy and he dances all the time (especially on his radio show haha, well ex- radio show now) and he is a great dancer! so i dont know, i guess what im getting at is that maybe when he is with the group he loses some of his confidense and doesnt act like himself... =]

I haven't been a fan for too long, so I haven't watched a lot of their interviews or stuff yet, so I can't say anything to that.

But I remember reading somewhere that Heechul actually said once that he had lost his passion for singing and dancing a long time ago and only stays in SuJu, because he feels obliged to the other members and the fans.

Maybe I should watch some more of their videos on "YouTube" to learn about his "real personality" (if an idol really ever shows his/her real self! :laugh).

as for the Mr.simple video i have to agree with everyone saying it seems like the others and also the dancing seems a little unorganized to me (is that just me?) but i am going to cherish this album and it's videos since Leeteuk and Heechul are doing their military service soon after, right? that's what i heard

@MV: Yeah, it's nothing great or new. We have all seen it before, but I still think it's a nice PV for a great song!
Even though I agree that SM could do more with SuJu. I mean, these guys are talented. Why not give him better PVs?

But some people said that SuJu are not so popular anymore?! I guess, SM doesn't want to waste too much money on them? Even though I have the feeling that these guys still have a lot of supporters.

I'll never understand that "management spends less money on this group, but we are happy whatever they release, we're fans so we'll buy it" talk. Why can't we want something better, why our expectations can't be higher? It's sad k-pop fangirls are satisfied with almost anything their favorite artists puts on :laugh


Not commenting on MV. Though choregoraphy is such a disappointment... In this case SM also is going down. and someone did a nice comparison to one of dance moves... :laugh But it might be a success, putting two most popular songs from your company's boygroups minus SHINee into one :laugh


And I think you know that after this album they're probably putting a hiatus? Since Leeteuk and Heechul, if I'm not mistaken, are doing their mlitary service.

I really didn't have any expectations for the PV. :shrug
I just wanted them to dance, they did and that means I'm satisfied, because I wanted to see some cool choreography and got what I wanted.
My expectations weren't high, so nobody let me down. If other fans feel different about that matter...well, that's their problem.

I don't know much about SuJu and their MVs. I have only seen a few, but they were always dancing in them and that's actually the reason why I started to like them - because they're amazing dancers.
