One more reason why I buy from yesasia, 16 parcels received through last 5 years or so, never had to pay customs, although I have ordered once from yesstyle and recently from yeswalker and the custom was gross :irked

Yesasia is too expensive for me, because free shipping isn't available for my country. :(

If it can comforts you, I paid 21€ customs for my last parcel that only contains again.

I have to say that's mainly because YA isn't really honest with the customs declaration :laugh Other than that, my YA packages always came from somewhere in Germany, so I assume that they have warehouse there, to decrease the customs/sending fees.

With cdjapan I'm pretty sure you can choose for the package to be marked as a gift to avoid tax (Just ordered from them a few days ago and I can't remember lol)

I've only ever had customs tax with HMV jp and that was only once

Ive never dealt with customs tax with CDJapan.
then again, I always do EMS and it ships to canada.

It doesn't work. Since I started to use CDJ, I tick the gift option and I didn't avoid tax. I already got customs twice.

Yes, YA isn't really clean.
+ YA increases the prices of the CDs. Believe me or not, but I wanted to order LOVE again on YA...the price was over CDJ (CDs' price+shipping by SAL). So I chose CDJ once again. I pray to avoid tax.

Then I guess I'm very lucky because I always qualify for free shipping, never paid tax and often get coupons from yesasia so even with slightly higher prices it's a good deal. Actually, I guess the price of the CDs and DVD is only about 5$ higher than anywhere else, but I got really surprised after I ordered my SISTAR calendar for US$42.99 while on kpoptown it's for around 25$ (but then I never ordered from kpoptown, dunno if I would have to pay shipping and tax there, probably yes)

If anyone's interested I just reviewed yeswalker.com and yesasia.com some time ago.
