Not at all. Not even a little bit. I see nothing about her I could like. I've tired. I've given up. She's just nothing to me, I'd even forgotten she existed...

Back when she first came out, yes... in the 90's.

Overall, I do like her, but some of her songs are just so-so. The commercial hip hop stuff is meh, which I think its what most people are listening to, but she has some truly beautiful songs that make me cry. Plus, her voice is beautiful.

But, I don't know where people are getting *****y diva from. When ever I see her she seems in control, but not rude.

Stated before, like some of her music, but now especially with this drama between her and Nicki Minaj, whether it's a publicity stunt or not...just...ugh. Nicki is a classless ***** and Mariah is TOOOOO diva *****. I just can't.

^I call publicity. They have a damn music video together. They seemed like BFFs then. And Mariah's hubby called BS.

I love Mariah, she's freaking hilarious. Great music, amazing voice. I feel you kind of have to have been a 90's child to love her though. These younger generations just don't seem to get her.

^It might also be the genre. I don't mean to generalize, but this is an Ayu forum, so you can kinda guess what kind of music people here are going to like, and MC is certainly no Ayu. I've always felt that hip hop/R&B/rap/ is the least well received in the Japanese fandom. Even when its Japanese people doing it. Rock seems to be the best received, from what I've seen.

I remember when a Japanese rock artist used a bit of hip hop in one of his songs all the fans were like "EW, what is this crap?".

Not anymore.

She's now on my disgusting list along with Christina Aguilera.
