This is my opinion: yes, the single is probably going to sell a lot more ONLY because of JJ. But where is the problem? We know that if the single was an "standard" single without a JJ on it, like Moon/Blossom, Ayu would sell a lot too. Maybe she would sell 80K, 90K or even 100K. So, if the single gets into a hit, where is the problem? Ayu will got the respect of a lot of fans of JJ! And maybe they will become ayufans too^^

If the single sells millions of units just for JJ, I'll be so happy. Because is an Ayu's single.

i think 'L' is pretty much very safe to release on that day.

might flumpool be a threat? I'm pretty sure of L though, it's a 50th single and has epicness all over it!!

I think crossroad is gonna sell around 90k the first week and L around 120k the first week, but maybe lower.
L is gonna sell pretty well, because is a 3a-side single (Kuu sell much more with singles like GOSSIP CANDY and 3 SPLASH, because they are maxi singles), and obviously crossroad for that guy, can sell pretty great too.
Now we can be happy (or not for the girls of K-ON! ?), and we have to wait for the cover of L (please something epic like &)

I see Bonnie Pink, Do as Infinity and Dream, all of whom i like. However, theyre not popular enough to cause any problems for "L". Also, as far as "crossroad" goes, any fangirl buying it for JJ (even if wants "L" single later for ayu as well) won't wait. I find fan girls to be very impatient when it comes to a guy they think is hot and attractive.

Ayu's 49th/50th, JJ fans and Kuu's new single... no matter the circumstances, Avex will be the ones to profit most from this set up. :laugh

Dream's single postpone to 06/Oct.but they are totally not a threat for ayu even if they didn't postpone the release date XD

I'm soooo excited for crossroad that ill be fine without a little L info. As I mentioned some time ago. After all this overload of ayu news for a while, when everything dies down I'm totally going to be on ayu withdrawal. With symptoms of obsessively wanting more news and dying of impatience without.

but don't forget that she's getting sales for crossroad from JJ's fans, and i doubt most of them would order L along with it, so the sales will be in the first week.

Avex did it, I don't know how they could keep it up, but they've once again secured another number 1. I am just ready for this stupid record to be broken so everyone will stop worrying about it.

i remember they released something somewhere around M/b release week also but seems like K-ON isn't a threat for any artists :P

K-ON released their OP/ED singles a few weeks back and they sold both individually more than MOON/blossom's first week sales. It's pretty fearsome how big they got... but the image songs didn't really do that well. 30k-50k first week is still really high for anime character singles. I wonder if it'll be higher now?
