OHMYGOD THAT IS HOT

ストロボ・EdGE 20th October 2010 04:59 AM

I can't even imagine what the inside photos will look like. That cover is so insanely hot, but I agree with cutie about it being better if she had her hair down.

do it again 20th October 2010 05:20 AM

cutie would be her life too if she had a nicer hairstyle! i like her real hair now, although she insists on having wigs put on and baskets weaved into her head... i don't care for all that monkey business.

Minttulatte 20th October 2010 06:50 AM

Lol is all I can really say. Ayu doing the same Kuu does? That would be funny. :D Mostly this idea makes me lol because I can imagine the faces of Ayu's innocent fans. They would go nuts lolololololol. No offence though. <3

Oh and the cover of Kuu's BRAZIL book looks ultimately sexy. I wanna see more pics. <3

Suki de, Suki de, Suki de has been certified GOLD for Chaku-Uta Full sales of over 100.000!

Keep in mind that these are just September's sales. I bet it'll receive a higher certification next month, when we get October's sales.

I personally think Ayu is a better performer. Kumi is good, too! I've enjoyed several of her concerts (I'm even warming up to this one). But I just think Ayu has better stage presence, she doesn't let the props overshadow like some fans want her to. Sometimes when I watch a Kumi concert I feel she disappears behind all the "ooooooooh aaaaaaaah" effects of her concert. Suddenly it becomes how cool that one trick was and how cool that one prop was and not how good the person was. BUT I STILL ABSOLUTELY ADORE HER AND THINK SHE'S SUPER CUTE WHEN SHE PERFORMS. She just performs differently than Ayu and I find Ayu's style superior. I WILL say that I think Kumi has a better "cute section" than Ayu, but that's it lol. :yes

Okaaay~~~ I respect your opinion and read that you love both.
Me,too, but I think Kuu's style is superior her voice and her dancing and the stage.
And I think she is in fusion with her special effects really well.
Kumi is the Queen Of Liv for me.
Ayu's lives are a little bit boring from time to time.
But her ballads and cutie songs are great.

I don't like Ayu's repeating party section(Boys&Girls,etc.)

It gets annoying by time!
BUT& all in all both are awesome only Kuu more for me :-D

Gubsi 20th October 2010 11:57 AM

If i'm honest, for me Kuu is the better live performer!
I'm not saying this cause Kuuchie is mah #1 bottle chick...
it's... u know...
i always watch the Live-DVD's with a friend, cause she's buying every DVD from Ayu and her shows a great, yes!
BUT...
u know if u watch like 3 or 4 concerts from Ayu u just know how the next tour will be... -__-
i really love Ayu, and i f_*_*_*_ love her music...
BUT it's like...
Ooooh... the cage thing again... :hahano

BUT i always handle Kuu as an entertainer and Ayu as a live performer!
So i think u can't really compare them if it comes to live tours!

And it's confirmed that Kuu is the "Queen of Live"!!
I mean even her official site mentioned that!
Hmm my UNIVERSE says "PLEASE WAKE ME FOR MEALS" also...
so don't ask questions about one of the commandments of avex! PERIOD!

emi♡ 20th October 2010 12:08 PM

I've been happier with Koda performing because she has better vocals and dances, and is a better overall entertainer.

Ayu...it's different lol Ayu's lives rest on "her" and her personality, and how much you love her, and her presence has to do with her, and how she expresses herself through her music/lyrics/etc.

I personally love and value both. I'm very happy to have many artists that give me what I need. I think at one point in time I wanted an artist who encompassed all of these things...but I don't see it as necessary anymore.

I've found...it's certainly better to have more, than less lol You get lots more stuff when everything is spread out among a ton of people, rather than just one~

I agree with Gubsi anyway, they cant really be compared in terms of live performances.

SURREAL__RAINBOW 20th October 2010 12:24 PM

we are all gonna like one more than the other for some reason or another :)

I always liked ayu the best and will always be the same I think.
I like the empathy she has with her audience, and her strength on the stage.
She is a real human! and she looks like one on stage, if you get what I mean

Kuu is a great singer and great dancer
I love how sexy she can be and I appreciate that :laugh
Her shows are very produced nowadays and so are ayu's... they all have so many details that you can only discover by going to see the show several times xD

They are both my favorite japanese artists atm, I like namie too but, her concerts don't make me go zomgwow.... I find them quite boring lol oh well.

Yeah I think Ayu's live are kinda boring, I have to watch them in shifts because I'll lose interest or get too antzy or w/e. But with Kuu I'm glued to the screen for the entire concert.

Keiichi_JPU 20th October 2010 04:34 PM

I've never watched a full Kuu concert (which I totally should, because Step Into My World from the Universe tour is EPIC), so I can't say anything about her tours.

But Ayu's tours are usually predictable. Oh it's the tissue dance again, Oh it's the pretty-dress-ballad part again.

I do absolutely LOVE Ayu's tours, and I'll never grow tired of watching them, but it would be nice if she kinda changed the routine a little bit. Like.. I dunno, sing a ballad in something other than a dress with ugly shoulder pads. (she's done that like 3 or 4 times in a row now, I believe).

Now that I think about it, I only dislike Ayu's ballad parts :laugh her upbeat and rock sessions I'm very happy with.

Yessss I agree with all of you :heart Ayu is good and all, but Kumi is far superior when it comes to lives. There's always some kick ass dance, some crazy stunts, something visually stunning, awesome vocals...

I am never bored watching a Kuu concert, but I feel with Ayu's I have to skip a lot of performances or the vocals are sometimes too bad... and she doesn't dance that much. It's just not a very entertaining show for me.

It's all personal opinion of course, but I really have confidence that my babeh is Queen of Live.

waterballoon 20th October 2010 04:58 PM

nothing is wrong, Ayu needs to take notes from Kuu for the concerts ;)

but whatever... I still bought their dvds anyway

SURREAL__RAINBOW 20th October 2010 05:12 PM

now that we keep on talking about taking notes, it wouldn't be bad if kuu takes notes from ayu too, which I'm pretty sure she would, since it looks like kuu admires ayu, her eyes just shine when she looks at ayu or talks to her when they're together in TV lol cute!!!!

Minttulatte 20th October 2010 05:13 PM

Lol for a while I thought I was reading a Ayu thread when people just spoke about Ayu here. :D I gotta say that I think Ayu's concerts were really good during 2000 to 2004. After that (I still haven't seen MY STORY Tour though) they began going downhill. :/ To me they were mostly hit or miss, especially AT08 is a tour I can't stand watching at all anymore though the songs are good. :/

But I really hope Ayu won't turn into Kuu though. :D I like it how their styles are different, that's how I can easily separate them from each other. :)
