^ i understand your rant..
that's why Tohoshinki has become split bcoz of the greediness of SME..it's even better if the income they split it equally and fairly..but this.. wew..i donno what to say anymore..

i hope the girls will be alright and have the rests they deserve after they finish the concerts.
i do hope SME starts to think about their artists' condition. they are not robot..but normal human beings, no matter how many vitamins they have eaten, but still..
how long those medicines/vitamins could last?

i think it's kind of unfair to put all of the blame on sme :no they are pushed and overworked a lot of the time, but the girls aren't complete slaves. i'm sure they want to be on stage for their first tour as much as sm wants them to be. when the girls are really that sick/injured they do get time off. but i feel like this tour is a really important moment in their careers and even if the sick ones were given the option to take a little time off i don't even know if they'd even take it tbh!! they probably don't want to miss out on something as big as this. sunny did get to go to the hospital and she still chose to finish the rest of the concert after all

I think Yuri looks beautiful! ^_^
Wow it looks like a really good concert. o.o

Yeah, I think it's a different company managaing them in Japan right?

AyUmIXx 6th June 2011 07:33 AM

different company but it's still SME handled the contract with Universal Japan.
well, i'm sure this is what the girls want too, i just hope SME will be being fair to the girls after the whole unfair thing they have done to their seniors before.
at least they still deserve what they have worked hard for.

Definitely, it would be sad to see them go through something like TVXQ went through. I hope that doesn't happen to SNSD. >.<

The problem is not the concerts, tv appearances or performances, it's the scheduling of them. Had a reasonable amount of rest time been scheduled in between everything that they are doing, the likelihood of them getting sick, tired, and overworked would have at least been reduced. They can still accomplish everything they're trying to do moving at a slower, more reasonable pace. Had this been taken into consideration beforehand, incidents such as this could have been prevented in the first place without having to sacrifice anything but a couple of days. It has nothing to do with their activities, it's solely about time management. It's about making a reasonable enough schedule to where they can do everything they need to do and remain healthy at the same time by not cramping so much into their schedule in such a short time frame. It would be more beneficial to everyone for their activities to be a bit more spread out. The problem with this whole situation is that it could have easily been avoided had SME created a schedule for humans and not robots. This is not the first time that one of their artists collapsed on stage (Krystal from f(x) collapsed in the middle of a performance last year) or complained of being overworked (TVXQ left the label due to this) so in my opinion, this seems to be a pattern with their artists. Apparently if this keeps happening, they need to make some changes, but they have yet to do it, which further proves the point that they are not providing their artists with the treatment and care that they need and deserve. It's their responsibility to create a balance for themselves and their artists that works for everyone and they aren't doing that. So in my opinion, SME needs to get it together in that department.

The more I know about the concert's development, the more I feel mixed :(
I'm excited to see them performing, but when I know bad things happen I get discourage.
I hope SM will take care of them more, they're on of the finest assets in musical industry, and SM should treat them like a real treasure.

I'm really moved and touched to see the girls are supporting each other, and the audience support and cheer on Sunny :heart
Sunny, shine brightly again :yes

^ Yes, exactly. I've been wondering how SM seems like playing around with schedules of their artist sigh.

Earth_maiden 6th June 2011 03:38 PM

I've been a fan of Girl's Gen since hearing "Gee", but I've never really enjoyed their music so much as I have now after hearing the entire first Japanese album. 'Let it rain' is my new addiction. :luv2

AyUmIXx 6th June 2011 03:53 PM

^ yes their japanese album is AWESOME!

anyway, have anyone seen Taeyeon + Tiffany's performance for Lady Marmalade..
i wonder did u guys notice Taeyeon's left hand was covering her upper outfit, u know.
she covered it for entire show, like something was wrong with the blue outfit..
poor her, she seemed not comfortable with it.

waterballoon 6th June 2011 03:56 PM

I don't exactly like Sunny, but I hope she's all right... and the rest of them. I'd have broken down from exhuastion if I were 1 of them!

terra 6th June 2011 04:01 PM

^^ Is she having a costume malfunction again? Like the black bra strap when performing MR TAXI on MSta?
The outfit is kinda revealing, but she looks cute :laugh

love in music 6th June 2011 04:57 PM

^^ HOW CAN YOU NOT LIKE SUNNY?
ok wait, I don't want to know. I don't want to hear my bias be bashed.

I noticed that costume problem with Taeyeon too. It made me laugh when Tiffany was supposed to hold her hand but she couldn't because tae had to keep covering it so Tiffany just wound up putting her hand around her instead :laugh It would be a pretty big accident if she didn't cover it though..

AyusakiFan 6th June 2011 05:57 PM

I am so proud of Sunny for being so brave as to return to the concert after having to go to the hospital. And even for her to want to go on stage despite feeling unwell really shows how much her fans and her career mean to her (that goes for all of them!). Shoujo Jidai fighting, lol! I hope she feels better soon and I wish them success with no injury for all of their upcoming activities!

Girls' Generation's 1st Japanese Album Tops Oricon Weekly Chart
http://i.imgur.com/2kOZIl.jpg

After its release on June 1, Girls' Generation's 1st Japanese Album "Girls' Generation" sold 232,000 copies in its first week and reached first place on Oricon's Weekly Album ranking. With this mark, Girls' Generation broke their fellow SM Entertainment labelmate BoA's previous record for first week album sales by a foreign artist, a record which BoA held for approximately 9 years and 3 months.

This marks the second time that Girls' Genehttp://i.imgur.com/2kOZIl.jpgration reached the top of the charts in their first week of sales, as their debut Japanese single "Genie" achieved the same feat, which had not occurred in 8 years and 3 months with a foreign artist's debut single, that being t.A.T.u.'s debut single.

The girls, who are currently in the midst of their first solo concert tour through Japan, commented "We are thankful towards the fans that our album became number 1 on Oricon. Of course the ranking makes us happy, but especially the fact that lots of people listened to our album does also. We hope sincerely from the bottom of our hearts that this album can give the people of Japan even a little bit of courage and the light of hope."
