For Janken: Hoping for a UG center and that some Team 4 members make senbatsu. And hoping neither Jurina or Yui make it.

Seriously I want takamina to win the janken, she deserve it soooo much!

I don't expect her to win (the odds are too much against her with how many girls there are), but what I don't understand is why Aki-P doesn't just put her as center in a standard single just because. She's his favorite after all, isn't she? I hate that it's pretty much standard for Acchan to be center even when it isn't the senbatsu or janken single. I'm sure they'd sell just as well with Takamina in the center, so long as there are still handshake events and the song doesn't suck (last time that happened was when, SnH08?).

Thinking about recent non-Acchan centered songs:

Oogoe Diamond- Jurina
Heavy Rotation- Yuko
Chance no Juuban- Mayumi

Two of those singles actually ended up boosting their sales to the next level while CnJ though it didn't sell as much as Beginner still managed good sales with one less edition, and no tickets.

Really, any one of the top girls could be center and it'll still sell. While I don't mind Acchan being default center, I really don't see why they don't change it up more. I'd love for Mariko, Takamina, Tomochin, Haruna, Sae and a non-elected Yuko to take center stage for a single. And you know what's the kicker? With the exception of Mariko, all of those girls have shown up to more Flying Get performances than the girl leading the single. Yuko has the best attendance record, she hasn't missed one. I'm not knocking Acchan because I really like her but I just find that so amusing.

I dont agree about Oogoe - PV is so all about A-chan Jurina sems to be like bonus xD

@Ranma Matsuri: I agree with everything you said. I don't know if Aki-P's just too scared to take risks at this stage in their popularity or not, but even that doesn't seem right since the janken singles make it so any unknown member can be center (case in point: Uchida Mayumi). I'd LOVE a single with Takamina, Mariko, or Kojiharu in center. It'd be great with Tomochin too, but she already does such a damn good job on her own that I think the rest of the group would disappear behind her lol.

I'm hearing that Tomomi Itano's going to take a 3-4 week break due to her vocal conditions.

I think they should just breakup Not Yet. Sad seeing Yuko slaving, only to help promote boring girls like Yui and Sashihara. She could be doing big things by herself. Plus Not Yet's music and outfits are some of the cheapest and tackiest I've seen out of all the subunits. She's like one of your aces hello, 40% more effort maybe would probably bring more dignity to the whole thing :rolleyes

I don't think Mariko could squeeze out enough time for something like being in a subunit or having a solo career. If she has a solo career anytime soon, it'll probably not involve any singing and will mark her graduation. This girl has been outgrowing AKB for a long time. She's ready to be someone big in Japan.
