My thoughts exactly. It's really generic in my books. : (

This mini-album is a really hard time in my life, why am I being punished like this by Ayumi-chan...I like Progress but I don't think I'll even bother listening to Why and Beloved again except just to watch the PVs...they would pass as album filler for a full length album but for a mini album with only five songs they're so disappointing. Every song should be single worthy like Memorial Address, I can't believe Avex/Ayu are really trying to pass off what should really be a 3A side single as a mini-album with the extra price that comes with it being an album and not a single.

Why is it Bad that People like Songs like beloved ans Why?i Love them!there are People who like the Songs and People who don't.but Respect all opinion and Not just say the Song is Boring so no One has to like it....everyones taste in Music is different. For my opinion i Love this Album already!it has a nice relaxing feeling

Why... reminds me of a lot of ayu's classic ballads. These are the type of ballads I adore from her and never want her to stop making. So, if people find them generic & boring, oh well, I find them amazing and very ayu. I love when she experiments with different sounds, but I also love when she brings out that classic ayu sound.

I enjoy them. Actually, as long as she is making new music, I have no problems.

She made more music than most artists out there will ever make, she's done everything, I'm not going to bother expecting too much from her if I'm going to end up disappointed like many of you.

I rather just sit back and enjoy what we have, and if I don't like something, who cares, something else will come, just like progress popped up.


I didn't like beloved too much, but I like it now, and I really like Why... lol maybe because of being something new for ayu (the collab thing), and their voices match really beautifully. So yeah.

And yes, I love both beloved and Why... and I don't see where's the problem.

Sometimes I wonder if some people in AHS really like Ayu.. Of course, it's normal to find works, even from your favourite artist, that you don't like.. but there are people who complain about EVERY single thing she does. I wonder why, if they hate so much all of her works, they keep following her .__.

there's a fine line between disliking and hating something that many people on AHS aren't able to make out.

I also don't see the point of sugar-coating one's opinion. if you all want to have the same opinion you should look to migrate into some form of communist country.

i can't say i love all of her classic ballads, 'cuz i'm not a ballad person, but lots of them had grown on me over the years. I totally enjoy beloved and Why. Sure they sound like a lot of other j-pop songs, might be boring for some, true they aren't very special instrumentally, but somehow I find something that catches my attention, there's something melodicly so beautiful that makes me like them. Plus her voice sounds so much better in both of these, I love how her vibrato changed into somethign so naturally flowing, that makes me appareaciate them even more.
Sometimes artists just need to go back to basics, to their roots, so they can later explore what's new & fresh for them, you just get borred of playing around with things after a while.

Plus for some songs you just have to "grow up" yourself to start liking them. :P
