She did begin her work in music scene in 1993 though so in that case 2013 would be her 20th Anniversary but before her solo debut she was doing music with her parents so it's not the case I guess. XD

I can't believe anyone can even say Olivia and Utada compare...before Hikki totally destroyed her voice on tour nobody could touch her. I mean I listened to a few of the songs people said to check out from Olivia and I just don't get it. She has a voice like YUI but is worse at pretending to play guitar. I didnt think I'd find fans that love her as much as she loves her own reflection on a hikki thread...She needs more voice lessons than ayu fresh on the industry.

EDIT2: Why are they making KH like final fantasy? They are never going to make a better game than KH1 and its just cheapening the whole story. I barely made it through 2 the only reason i beat it was to hear sanctuary after the battle lol totally not worth it.

I hated 2...so, honestly.

I only want KH3 to get a new KH song from hikki. If they pick someone else to do it, they can all go suck a fat one.

Olivia's old voice from D&D was impressive, even more so than Hikki's. I don't know what happened from then to now, but she somehow makes it work in a different way. She's not conventional pop, which is what I like. Her Cloudy Dreamer works are amazing for pop.

The song Bicycle, her sisters song, sounds amazing in the live floating around. She adds something to an already great song.

Absolutely hate Color of your Spoon.

I'm kinda hope they hire an US star if they go with a new singer. Engrish just makes KH seem cheap. Not that Olivia is really bad but some of her phrasing is veeery odd.

I meant English! I feel like shes stuck somewhere between English and Japanese. But I understand her style more and more now. I just don't like her voice on the ears she can sing super high but that doesnt mean she should...or maybe it just sounds strained to me...idk. Any news on more music from hikki?

OLIVIA's music is much more artistic and lyrically deep, that's why I love her music!!

I recommend listening to her music before "a little pain" and after her first album "synchronicity" because that's when she had more control over her career ;)
