She was kicked out of the show. There are many rumors about why, but it seems like it was a very unfair reason. Her company is mad at the show too.

I could have understand if they said she just wasn't good for the show, or if she wasn't good at singing some genres of music like, I don't know, rock or hard metal, or if they said she didn't want to do it anymore.
But they said it was because she can't reach high notes. That's too much of BS to be the only reason! Imo, it' sooo more likely they have disagreed about the style like the rumors said. THAT is not too difficult to believe.

I had the weirdest dream last night. Apparently BALLAD was being used as the themes song for some movie and alan and Angela Aki (? wtf?) were singing it for some press release. After they were done some artist that I've forgotten came out and sang another song. And then Ayu came out in a black and white outfit with a big now and her head and sang a new song that features the lyric "you" prominently. But when the song started she didn't even hold the mic up to her face and her voice came out and she just flipped the mic around since she knew she was lip syncing. And then she ran off stage. This is like the dream I've ever had of any jpop singers I listen to. And it was definitely random.

^Ah, that really sucks. I got my hopes up for nothing. I really wished she would continue her Japanese discography but I guess not. Oh well, we're still getting some kind of Japanese single.

2) She is now in Japan recording a song. (It's probably the b-side to DREAM EXPRESS)
