In April, Hamasaki Ayumi welcomed her 15th debut Anniversary, and after the conclusion of the much-praised nationwide Arena Tour which played for around 220,000 audience, ayu has continued to evolve and created this heartful new work, which includes 2 new songs in a double A-side single. "Feel the love" is the world's first sound produced work by "DJ Hello Kitty", featuring the world famous character Hello Kitty, who boasts passionate fans from all over the world! The song is based on EDM or Electric Dance Music, which has taken the US and world by storm. Composed by Komuro Tetsuya, it is an uplifting tune fused with Komuro's signature catchy melodies.

The other track is sound produced by world famous producer unit m-flo! A number composed by ☆Taku, intended for the dancefloorm, with a catchy melody and VERBAL Rap, it is a first-rate track that shows off ayu's new charm.

Both tracks are mixed by Jaycen Joshua, a sound engineer who has worked on many hit songs by top US artists, and mastered by Dave Kutch, NY's up-and-coming engineer.

The DVD will include 2 video clips, both shot in L.A. Furthermore, a special version limited for "TeamAyu" members will include an extra video clip, featuring a personal interview with ayu about the new songs!!

The video we see now isn't a PV though.

Omg nooo if she releases Merry-go-round on YT I'll have no choice but to listen to it! I was planning to buy the single and keep that track for the actual release, but I know I'll cave if she uploads it 2 months before the release date :laugh Maybe I'll just save full versions for when I get my copy. Also it's going to be on the double week (which are scary since GUILTY) and now that ayu became less popular it's even more scary, is there even a competition? If yes then they might not care for more #1s, ayu already has the record anyway.
If there's no competition so it's less surprising why they wouldn't care (and maybe on the contrary) to release a single.

Then again I won't be surprised if avex didn't really plan it but ayu really wanted it.

from what we checked so far theres no competition for the release week, but we didn't check the week before (Dec. 18th)...

I've always wanted her to work with m-flo and it finally happened!!~

Whenever I hear merry-go-round, my two guesses are Kuu's No man's land and Ayu's Marionette. Either way my expectations are high :-D

After so many years without a single, her comeback should be much stronger than the material she has chosen to usher herself back into the scene. Terribly irate that she's releasing a Christmas single that has nothing to do with winter or the Christmas scene. Last years tease was snowy kiss, and now this "Christmas single".

^ Maybe it's that playing these kinds of songs is better in the cold/snowy weather. I can see the song being a 'chilly' song.
But then again, Ayu's entire discography is arguably made for September-March. For me, fairyland is the winter anthem.
