Born to be... was the only song I absolutely hated from her whole discography. Not only did she manage to make me love it with this tour performance, but I also cried because of it. I CAN'T WITH THIS WOMAN

Haha, me too:-) I wish I were prepared to come up with better answers. They're likely to use it for CDL documentary, maybe they'll just show some fragments during credits.

Ah, thanks! I'll keep an eye out, but wouldn't be surprised if I'm cut LMAO!

I was hoping for some general "What's your favorite song?" type of question. Not "Why do you like Ayu?" I need time to answer that in English, let alone Japanese.

Yeah! I'm not sure if I want to make the cut:-D I was asked what kind of concert dresses I like and what's the best thing about Ayu concerts. Also if I think that Ayu is popular abroad.

I think it's alright because we know she has done well :)

I think this is her best CDL since Future Classics. The setlist is amazing (she sung 'Microphone'!! and the rest of the setlist seems fresh), outfit looks beautiful. The stage... omg, I thought I was watching an arena tour stage or something, the stage looks epic. I can't wait for the DVD to be release and watch the other part of the show. I' ready for the tour this year (if it's as good as the CDL).

kalikagai 5th January 2015 03:43 PM

So, I've just watched the concert and I don't have enough words to describe my feelings in the foreign language except it was beyond amazing. In every aspect.

The only thing I'd like to say and I'm able to say is: I can not imagine and I do not want to imagine my life without her songs, her music and her lyrics through all these years - some happy, some sorrowful.

Ayu, thank you for being here.

haha ME TOO, I WAS SOBBING SO HARD. I've been crying the whole concert tbh. She did cry quite a lot too, when she bursted in tears for the 4th time I just wanted to hug her and tell her that everything was okay LOL

So I compared the sound of each and every song from 30 and 31 as I usually do to tell what was live and what wasn't. Guess what? Only 3 songs were lip synced (comparing to 6 last year). They were Game, My name's women and 1 love. Pretty predictable, right? All of these songs were very demanding in physicality. The rest was really live.

BlackSilence 6th January 2015 08:15 PM

^I had a feeling they weren't live. Cuz you could see how much physical strenght se nedded to put into it. though 1LOVE wasn't THAT busy with too many moves, they pretty much stood in one place, there were no crazy dancing routine involved.

I'm not doubting about your statement as you can compare, but isn't it the first time she is using not so good prerecorded tracks for her lives? Usually playback performances are almost flawless/already edited (not as much as current dvd/blu ray editing though).
If it's the case it's kind of nice because she is not cheating that much this time.

I also had that feeling for my name's WOMAN... Because of the camera view, you don't really see her singing. And because of that famous "I'm lipsynching right now" headset!

//ABEST 6th January 2015 09:10 PM

GAME sounded kinda bad to be playback track.. but i believe you Chris85 :) maybe they don't edit them that much now

Yeah that what is surprising! And I like she did this.
Just rewatched parts of the segment, and yeah... you can see it actually.

No, it's not the first time:-) For A Best Live she used unedited vocals for lip syncing - for songs Poker face, Fly high and Honey. You see it works! People usually can not tell, because her voice sounds so raw, I mean live. Only our forum members who had seats close to the stage and watched her lips could tell she wasn't singing live, and also of course it was possible to tell after sound comparison.

What about being in a uncomfortable position with her legs up?:D

YakuSoku 7th January 2015 10:51 AM

But in the "lipsynched" songs you can hear her breath through the headset which disturbs the sound. So when did she lipsynch? On the 30rd or 31st?
