I think hobi used to be kinda... under appreciated, so I’m SUPER happy for him. It’s so freaking awesome how much support the vast majority of the fandom is giving him for his FREE mixtape. He’d been working on it for two years and during the v-live, he mentioned how nervous he was for people to hear it. It must be so overwhelming to know it’s actually financially successful (despite being free) and appreciated to the degree the fandom is showing.

He deserves this spotlight so I’m so... proud :cry

Tbh I think this success kinda proves that he's not really underappreciated, or at least hasn't been for quite a while haha

^ He used to be, at least comparatively to other members imo. But now? He’s getting the appreciation he deserves.

Also his mixtape did chart #63 on BB200, and it only had 14 hours! I’m excited/nervous to see how high it goes up the chart after a whole week to accumulate sales...

Hmm I'm not sure, since probably most people bought it as soon as it was released, so I don't have high hopes but we'll see

^ There were a lot of American fans holding out until Friday to buy it because they knew the week refreshes then. A lot of armys are more educated about Billboard now, so I’m expecting it to go up higher.

Yesterday BTS won Kids’ Choice Awards Favorite Global Music Star! (And John Cena came through and said J-hope and RM are his biases.)

It’s kinda funny that the last time I voted for any Kids Choice Award was back around 1999, and 10 years later here I am as a grown ass adult voting for kids shows.

Don't Leave me is sooooo good. And I quite like intro and outro. Didn't care that much about Let Go though.

^ I'm not usually a fan of their Japanese releases, but Don't Leave Me is amazing. I was pleasantly surprised to find how much I enjoy it. I'm not being biased, but Jimin and Jungkook's voices are the highlight of the track for me.

And FACE YOURSELF is now eligible for Platinum in Japan. GET IT BOYS!

I’m 3 weeks late, but anpanman, outro: tear, 134340, so what, and airplane pt.2 are still Major Bops.

Airplane pt. 2 snatched all wigs. Anpanman and Love Maze are probably my least favourite songs, although I still like them. I love the album asa whole! And the outro is sooo much better than Outro : Her imo

I'm listening to previous years' Festa songs and So Far Away (Suga, JK and Jin ver.) is making me so emo. It's beautiful.

Ugh your mind is so powerful (minus the anpanman dig but i’ll forgive you because you said you still like it). :D

I enjoyed Her, but I think Tear as a whole is more versatile and the superior one in this series so far.

I love Magic Shop more than Anpanman :P

I think both fit their respective concepts tbh, but yeah, Tear is definitely more versatile in genre and lyrics. Which makes sense, because it's the "Culmination"/"Plot twist" part of the story iirc.

^ Speaking of Magic Shop, it is criminally underrated. And also the lyrics are incredibly beautiful and sweet? Like wtf I’m judging ya’ll, it’s at least mid-tier on this album.

And I might be a little biased with Tear because I live for emotan.

It's not like it's in your top 5 neither haha Well, that's the thing: people tend to not care much about mid-tier and lower. Besides, the fandom seems to hate EDM.

It does have a special place in my heart though, I love it. I'm proud of Kook for producing it. And the lyrics are super-sweet too.
