Do you think the live video will be edited? They have only few days to do that.

I think there will likely be some minor editing to correct any major pitch issues etc.

Of course. Saigo no Trouble was clearly a pre-recorded show (or maybe parts of it, like SIGNAL), even if it was by a few hours, and they could select the best angles to release it.

But given the time they have, it's just a case of fixing minor issues, nothing big.

Is it just me that’s maddly happy about having (miss)understood and Life performed live again? :heart

Katsuyuki012 28th June 2021 01:47 AM

I really hope she won't cut any songs from the stream (and if they do, I hope they will be on a future release of this show)! It would be great to finally get Return Road & new performances of Life & (m)u!

She sounded really good! I was worried with it being the last show and second of the day, but really she did well IMO!

The monitors in front of me weren’t *that* bad but I could definitely see them the whole time lol.

I personally don’t love how the show kinda went for a gothic feel, but it was nice hearing slightly different arrangements for some songs. Return Road was nice but as I was watching the stage, I couldn’t figure out what the “story” for the performance was lol.

Still, I’m glad I could go and it was nice to see her live again!

Edit: I’d say she definitely had some areas where the high notes were hard, but they strategically used the choir and chorus, so it was well handled I think. I’m not sure how that’ll translate to recorded versions though haha. A song is born was maybe the toughest at the higher parts? Today probably had some of the best vocal control at the beginning of the song. Haruyo koi was also done well, and I loved her dress.

thank you for your review. so excited to hear that she sounded good! cannot wait to see the recorded version :luv2

wow, the final photo looks epic. It's like she's some evil queen or sorcerer.

Wow, ayu look so slim and gorgeous from the photos I saw. Sorry I haven’t been catching up, does Japan allow concerts to be held already?

Big concerts were already held in January.

kotora 28th June 2021 07:24 PM

Is Four Dimensions a new song?

RealLight 28th June 2021 07:31 PM

^ Probably just an interlude

Katsuyuki012 28th June 2021 07:32 PM

^^It's most likely just an interlude like Pieces of Seven or Distant Memories.

Toniayu123 28th June 2021 08:05 PM

She looks fierce! And the gothic atmosphere is superb. But sadly, the direction her concerts took since 2019 (but everything started with the chapter 2 of JTB iirc) is a no no for me. They lack the magic of what a true Ayumi Hamasaki should be for me. I might be repeating myself too much, but a concert without a band is not a concert for me. It’s sad because in the past, each tour would have an amazing concept and would make a trip to Japan to watch it truly worth it, and for me they don’t now. I don’t understand why she still wants to invest in new dancers when there are already enough of them, and what’s the point of a choir or back vocals when you have no real instruments to begin with? Lol I just hope she brings back yochan, Enrique and even peco to her 25th lol

BlackSilence 28th June 2021 09:15 PM

Wow, i love those couple of stage costumes. I am really digging the corseting on her. She looks amazing with that short hair in them!
I'm all for dark and gothic Ayu. It's been TOO LONG.

Chris85 28th June 2021 09:26 PM

I really don't want to be disappointed with the vocals since the setlist and photos look great.
