a = the first number in the progression (first week sales)
r = the second number in the progression divided by the first number (2nd week divided with first week)

Although r can be tricky, you can get a better shot at the formula with some analysis of the current music industry, NINKI ratings, and artist reputation.

that number looks extremely close, if i was gonna guess i woulda guessed 260k, very nice.
