Ouch, "sucks majorly" sounds kind of harsh :laugh I agree that the first half is where the album shines the brightest, but I don't think the second half is that bad. Control of the Knife, Fling, and Damn are all on the second half, and I really liked those, but everyone has a different opinion, and that's a good thing.

Oh my god no :laugh I didn't mean it in a mean way at all, but that would have been a really funny way to say it if I did. Don't worry, you're one of my favorite members here, haha. Like milky way said, Control of the Knife is pretty much confirmed to be the third single. I'm really excited because I love that song (although I think Girl Overboard might fare better as a single, not sure though). I'm just slightly worried about the sales. The title isn't exactly...understandable.

Hmm...I better start listening to it then, and start to like it better. >.> Haha, I wish "Girl Overboard" or "Close to love" would be the next single.

I love both of those songs so much, so I'd be satisfied with either one. You don't like Control of the Knife though? No matter what, I'm sure I'll be satisfied. The girls seriously just get better with time. IMO, their albums are practically chronological in terms of worst to best (and obviously by date). Although recently I'm thinking I might like Chemistry more than Tangled Up .That album was just fantastic.

So people, favourite song on "Mixed Up"? Mine's "The Show" remix, it's so damn catchy! Plus it's my favourite GA song everrr. :yes I love "Call The Shots" now, but I'm always mis-typing it as Call The *****. o_o (And thanks for the links Jake. :B)

I ordered my cop through eBay with Tangled Up and it hasn't arrived yet. It should before Christmas though. I can't wait to hear it. I heard the No Good Advice remix is the Explicit Version. Is that true? I read lyrics that said in a remix of the Explicit Version they say, "Here I am, dirty hand, I don't give a (f-word)!" If that's true it would make my day. And I also heard that Mixed Up is all one track, not divided like the tracklisting says. Is that true as well?

Well in the "No Good Advice" remix, I don't hear the line, but they do say wasted, a lot. I have the explicit version of the song on the special edition of "The Sound Of..." I bought, do you want me to upload it for you? The tracks are divided, where did that rumor come from? Unless the actual copy of "Mixed Up" is, I never bothered getting that, I don't like remixes, most the time they ruin the song. But some were alright on "Mixed Up", like the "The Show" and "Sexy! No No No..." ones.

Mine's the S!NNN remix, though the one of I Think We're Alone Now is fun to listen to, as well.

Haha, they say "wasted" in every version of the song. I already have the "Explicit Version" that came on the bonus disc for "The Sound of Girls Aloud" as well, and they say "Shut your mouth because your s**t might show", but I had read the part with the f-word on a lyrics site that said it was in the remix of the "Explicit Version" and that's why I wasn't sure.

I agree that remixes can be really blahhh though. I especially hate 8 minute long remixes that just recycle the same line of vocals about 100 times and in varying pitches. It's annoying and not what I would particularly care to listen to. I do like remixes that change the instrumental and occasionally the arrangement, as long as it isn't too drastic and cruddy. I already have just about every Xenomania and Tony Lamenza mix of the GA singles, and those are very hit or miss. I think I like Ayu mixes a lot more than GA ones. Hopefully Mixed Up is good once I hear it.

Has anyone heard about Ashley Cole though? I didn't find out until tonight, but apparently he cheated on Cheryl with some hairdresser. What the hell? Cheryl's one of the prettiest women I've ever seen and he goes and cheats on her. Seriously, what the hell is wrong with him?

And the Can't Speak French video is absolutely stunning. I can't even believe how gorgeous they all looked (except Nicola, well maybe a little :P). It seriously made me want to go straight. Cheryl and Nadine were the definite standouts in terms of looks, but then again, I always think they are.

^ Is Nicola the read-head? I haven't really learned their names yet since I literally just got into them myself a few days ago (through their collaboration with the Sugababes <3).

I think the blonde with the longest hair is the prettiest. She's got the best voice, too. <3

Nicola's the red-head, haha. As for the others, Cheryl is the gorgeous one with the dark brown hair, Kimberley also has black hair and is pretty and looks as if she's mixed (at least to me), Nadine I think is the one you're talking about since I think she has the best voice and she has longer hair. Lastly, Sarah's the one with the short blonde hair.

Totally shallow: I don't get why Nicola's always called the ugly one when Kimberley of the huge forehead and plain face is in the group. Nicola isn't as conventionally pretty as someone like Nadine, but at least all her features "fit" and aren't as utterly unremarkable as Kimberley's.

I fail to see what's shallow about finding Nicola the least attractive. Her look just doesn't appeal to me, just as Sarah fails to appeal to me as much with her shorter hair. I don't exactly find Nadine conventionally pretty either. I originally thought she looked like a man in drag but then she grew on me and I now think she's arguably the most beautiful, but in an entirely different way than Cheryl (who I would say ties her in that aspect). Kimberley I hardly find unattractive. She has very different facial features than the other girls and sort of sticks out because of it. Many people tend to find her unattractive as you said, so how does that make it any better for you to find her ugly than for me to find Nicola unattractive? Usually I just dislike Nicola's hair greatly, and her personality turns me off from her because I find her to be annoying in comparison to the others.

I meant "totally shallow" as in not music or news-related. I was just referring to how often and on how many boards Nicola gets automatically referred to as the ugly one. She's even talked about it in interviews, about how she's in the group with these four gorgeous women. I personally think Kimberley is unattractive but I haven't really run into that opinion elsewhere and it's not a constant feature in coverage about her like Nicola's looks are. I feel sorry for her, because I just don't see her as being so far below the other girls that it would justify such press about her appearance. Nadine, Cheryl and Sarah have looks of the type that is generally seem as pretty/hot so I'd understand (but still think it a real shame) if Nicola got the ugly press for being in a four-girl group with them. But since Kimberley is not as conventionally pretty as those three, I'm surprised that Nicola has ended up being almost always a joke. I don't have anything against someone liking her the least (I'm sure I like some people whose looks others would call bad), but I think it's sad that she must always be called the Ugly One in tabloid articles and gossip site news. That has to be tough to bear, especially since it's not bad press for her behaviour or something other that she would really be able to change or be responsible for.
