Did anyone hear the news that Pucchimoni and Tanpopo are coming back? They are going to be revealed at the upcoming H!P summer concert. I think they are just a one shot thing though...

1) I think the novelty of an ever-changing line-up (which was new at the time) was a big attraction. The girls were chosen based on talent more than looks, and were older at the time, too (I really think if someone like Kemeko auditioned now, she wouldn't make it). They were able to appeal universally at one time because of what Neko★munication said. I'd basically echo the rest of that post, e.g. lack of personality, exposure, etc.

Honestly, I think personality skipped a generation (literally, haha) from the 6th to the 8th. Hahaha. But I think if they were to appear on what they used to do before (H!M, HEY! x 3, etc.), they'd be right back in it. Old Utaban was also fun compared to now.

2) I think the ever-changing line-up is the exact reason they're losing popularity. It's like a double-edged sword; one side gains fans with the new members and line-ups, while the other side loses fans for the same exact reason. Plus, DANCE*MAN was amazing. His songs were the best, they're much more catchier than they are now. I think Momusu established a "catchy hook" image, so now that they don't have it, it's hard (period).

I think they'll last, but not be as popular as they were before, sadly.

Their newest single (Momusu) is Shouganai Yume Oibito, and before that it was Naichau Kamo.

Kago has a new single coming out on the 24th - no hesitAtIon. And kind of recently, Yaguchi Mari's single, Seishun Boku came out..

I don't really follow the other H!P groups so I don't know about them..xD. I think Berryz just came out with Seishun Bus Guide/Rival though.

I really don't know what to think about the new Korean member... Is she really gonna be part of Momosu? 9th gen? Whoa...
It's kinda sad, how they are trying to make Momosu more international with all the foreign members and make them more popular in Asia. I do love Linlin and Junjun but I thought it was just gonna be them... :( It kinda looses it's meaning if there's gonna be a more of them.

It's unknown what Tsunku is going to do with the new Korean girl..she could just be an Egg. I doubt she'll join Momusu.

No one can replace Charmy/Yui/Erika. Grrrr. It angers me just to think of one of the H!P Kids trying to fill their spots. No. I was never a huuge fan of Minimoni or Pucchimoni so I'm still excited for those revivals, but now I can understand why some fans who are closer to them are pissed off - v-u-den's my absolute fave H!P group (after Momusu), and I cannot imagine it with new members.

Oh well, let's see how it goes. On the bright side, maybe we'll at least get to hear some old v-u-den songs performed again!
