Taking in consideration all interviews of her I read over the years and how I think she is... I don't really think she would mind to perform her songs in the usual way they do on TV...

utada stated it herself in an interview that she is in talks with her record company about it. she said it had something to do with disney holding the rights also (if memory serves right)

yeah I can't know it for sure :) I don't know Hikki of course.

but it's how I THINK she is :)

utada seems to have great style. i love her clothes in those pics :P

I thought the reason why she sings full songs is beacause she's not japanese, when you see foreign artists performing on japanese shows they sing full songs.

But she is Japanese and her career is based in Japan. That's different than someone like Shakira, who isn't Japanese, doesn't sing in Japanese, and doesn't have a career based in Japan.

Hikki as an artist deserves 5/5, but considering this is arguably not her best album by far, 3.5/5 is pretty good!

She is Japanese though.

She's of Japanese decent.

She has a active career in Japan.

So I fail to see how she's not Japanese.

Yes, she was born in America (which okay, makes her a American citizen of Japanese desent) but I believe in another interview she said she had citizenship in both countries or something. (Which as far as I know Japan doesn't allow dual citizenship but they may have let it go in Hikaru's case, unless she said one thing but meant something else.)

I honestly hope her new japanese single (or cd? i don't remember) is gonna be better than this last cd, which to me was terrible in soooo many levels. :innocent (waiting for a new Ultra Blue era...)

And i also wish Utada change her new haircut. she looks like a granny.

I agree with everything you said (except for UB thingy, she should do new stuff though yeah I would prefer a UB sound-like million times over HS).

It might sound similar to Passion and so on. She said she will continue to release songs for Kingdom Hearts and that series has those other versions coming out on the DS and the PSP. The DS one is releasing in Japan in May. I really hope they do use new music and not reuse Passion like they did with Simple and Clean in Chain of Memories.

^What if the theme song for Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep turns out to be Dirty Desire? @_@ I'd probably proceed and kill her for ruining my favorite game series.....lol
