er hard time leading Tokkyu Tanaka 3 Gou ?

am I missing something here because I don't know what happened which led to these circumstances

^ i think it was the pressure of leading a j-drama. everything was placed on his shoulders, you know? he's been a supporting actor in "My Boss, My Hero" (with Nagase Tomoya as lead and Tegoshi) & "Tatta Hitotsu no Koi" (with Kame as lead), but i think just the pressure got to him.

it's probably why we haven't seen him in a j-drama since?

oh

well then that makes sense & also maybe because expectations for him with regards to Tokkyu Tanaka 3 Gou is much bigger/higher as compared to dramas that he plays supporting roles to which the pressure's not up there

ah well :( & I finally received my BANDAGE single today after wating for quite a while from CDJapan but it's pretty worth it to say the least :laugh

Regarding Koki's star power. I think he is more talented than Jin for example. He just doesn't have the looks that the majority of fangirls go for - he likes to play it to the extremes. For me, Koki is, hands down, the best actor in KAT-TUN. He was great in Tokkyu Tanaka 3 Go, he handled the drama really well. And he was in a drama this year, the one with Higashiyama (Shigotonin, or something? He replaced Ohkura) I think the real reason why Koki is not promoted that much lately is because of his numerous rumours. I read somewhere that the Jimusho doesn't approve and he has rumours about affairs with girls in every other magazine. And he is too hardcore for them, although I have to disagree, I find him a really sweet character, even if he had affairs with half of Japan. :innocent

yeah I know about the Koki / numerous girls rumours surrounding him

it's unfortunate I say . Even Taguchi's not spared by it either . Maybe because of this , the 2 T's are not as actively promoted as compared to Ueda & Nakamaru who're quite scandal free

it's rumours like these that sometimes I want to throw an egg or 2 in the Japanese media grr

...oh i totally forgot Koki was in Hissatsu Shigotonin. MY BAD. i forgot Ohkura dies. :P but yeah, i do think the girl rumors stall Koki from getting work (as with Taguchi & his girlfriend). however, Jinnifer over here has dated the other half of Japan. :laugh

KAT-TUN on SMAPxSMAP!! :D i can't wait. i hope there is a lot of interaction between them.

my younger sister has watched some SMAP x SMAP episodes & it's really cool , I like the Bistro SMAP segment with regards to the SMAP members cooking :D

I hope there will be something like a Bistro KAT-TUN segment , that will be fun & of course when Shingo's Daibamama's around , hilarious stuff will break out :roflmao

according to estherzax@LJ, it seems like Nakamaru has been dropping hints of a new single (probably for "Yamato Nadeshiko").

and KT will be performing at BEST ARTIST 2009. at least there will be some group activity before the year ends. (though i can't wait for Johnny's Countdown Live!) i'm hoping the group will also perform at Music Station Super Live too. idek if the list has been released for that yet though.

omg i'm soooo excited for BEST ARTIST! i love that & MUSIC STATION SUPER LIVE the best :yes the guys better sing RESCUE. but i wouldn't be surprised if they sang ONE DROP because of kami no shizuku being on the same station (NTV) as the show. :P

nope, the only really active member atm is Bakanishi. with LANDS/BANDAGE and his upcoming solo lives. i really like the title of his solo tour "YOU & JIN" (or "YUUJIN", a wordplay. "yuujin" is best friend in Japanese. :laugh)

wow the BtR DVD will be out next Wed <3 but I'm getting the Taiwan press which means I wouldn't be getting til my birthday month which's ok seeing that it usually takes about 3 weeks + for avex Taiwan to make the Johnny's concert DVDs :)

Taguchi's said they were recording and Maru's j-web stated they've been working on choreography (but this could be for year end shows, idk, LOL). i'm sure they'll release something new. :) i'm pretty darn sure KT will get the "Yamato Nadeshiko" theme. every Kame drama post-debut has had a KT theme song.

i know everyone's been like, "omgz why hasn't KT released something?" but i really think they've released decently throughout the past year. it wasn't too much. wasn't too little. just right. if you're in KT for just the music, though, i could probably understand the irritation, since BtR was like in...May, right?

but otherwise, i've been satisfied. :P

I did not know how the guys looked like before I came onboard so naturally at the end of the day (even if I were to lose interest in looking at Kame & Ueda in that manner sooner or later D: ) , it's all about the music to me :yes

I'm sure it will be something worth waiting for anyway at the end of the day

but if you think about it, KT has released only 2 or 3 singles, 1 album, and a DVD each year post-debut. this year hasn't been different. maybe release schedule-wise since they usually release a end-of-year single (Bokura, Keep the faith, White X'mas), but we got BANDAGE (which isn't so bad? well.....i loved it. :laugh)

i'm in KT for the music too, but i don't like it when it's overdone. when KT is on a break, i go over to other fandoms. then go back to KT again, LOL.
