you never know. There are such things as "working titles". memories=moments.

Rainbow141 10th February 2010 05:45 PM

Really? There's been some talks of a new album already? I need to stop drifting away from this site so much! =O

Well, I don't want it to be rushed out, I want her to take a lot of time on this and... make many good tracks on it. ...Anyway. I do want one soon, but, hmm.

What do you mean? Was Moments initially called Memories on the announced tracklist? That'd be really interesting! :)

well. a working title is something you call something while working on it. For example (since I know alot about utada) her song "Kiss & Cry", while she was creating it in the studio, it was called "Dancing Leah". and her song "Celebrate" while being worked on in the studio was called "Yakekuso" or "desperation". she's also had other working titles such as "Day of Natto".

I don't think artists can leave something untitled. even if it is, it's still labeled as "untitled". But yes, as far as I know, ayu's song moment's working title was Memories.

also as a tidbit i unfortunately know. >> High School Musical's working title was High School Musical. They couldn't think of anything else to call it so they stuck with the original title.

the tracklist is so funny.don't know if this is true or not

eh.. nanakopy87, can i ask, are u a chinese?? :innocent

Because the chinese words written there meant: (rough translation)
"at the moment the japanese official website have not released anything,
so this is a reference for everyone...
please wait for the official to announce the real information."

So I believe these are totally fan-made... :thud

^^Yea everything has working titles, from songs to movies, etc. Very recently ayu blogged about BALLAD and how it got its title. When she was writing it on her computer, she named the file BALLAD and stuck with it.

I have no idea what he looks like, but I guess it could be him. Crossing my fingers it isn't though :no I still have really high hopes for this album.

GRACE 10th February 2010 06:50 PM

Well, NEXT LEVEL was announced around now, so I really think in the next few days we're in for the announcement :D It feels like we've waited FOREVER this time, maybe that's because with NL we had R/S to tide us over, and for this album we had a single more then a month ago, and no official announcements since x_X

I never knew about "Moments" initially being called "Memories"... but as far as Ayu using working titles, she did that for both "You were..." and "BALLAD" as well. She said both were initially labeled as "ballad" on her computer.

Well, Startin' was performed at CDL05-06, and wasn't released as a single until March 2006 (and the album didn't come out until November). Maybe the single was announced before the concert (due to it's tie-in)? But you're right, with new songs she performs, those are always in the encore and the corresponding album has always been announced before the concert date.

NEXT LEVEL was anounced on 12th february last year, so be patient guys!

AHAHAHAHA. oh the delusion.

Beauty4123 10th February 2010 07:37 PM

Oh yeah that makes sense. Lol I actually knew about those Hikki titles, why did I forget that? How could I EVER forget a title with Natto in it :laugh Do you remember which song that was? I think Heart Station right?

I just never knew Ayu had ever told us about any of her working titles. Do you know more ? :)

day of natto was definitely a heart station working title. not sure which one though. And sorry. All I know is that moments was originally called memories. I actually learned it from this forum. Theres alot of threads still around from before my story was ever released, and a few talk about people talking about her new single "Memories" which ended up being Moments.

lilmissgrusome 10th February 2010 08:42 PM

yeah same here, the suspense is too much ^^ (nr)

I remember hearing that "M" was originally titled "Bliss" as well.

But yes, as far as I know, ayu's song moment's working title was Memories.
Moments was accidentally titled Memories or something on a site related to the arranger HIKARI or something like that. He posted an update about what he was working on and everyone just ended up agreeing that they messed up during an update. It had already come out as a VISEE CM by then as well as "Moments" with the update about the single coming afterwards, I believe. The update has since then disappeared, but the posts of people talking about it are still here. Perhaps things might be different from how I remember them. (http://ahsforum.com/forum/showthread...light=memories Apparently all that was listed was that he would be arranging a song called Memories, and people assumed it was a coupling track to Moments, because we had already known about Moments beforehand. In the end of it all though, Moments ended up being a HIKARI-arranged track)

About BALLAD's title, apparently both You were... / BALLAD had the same titles at one point, both being called "BALLAD" and she just kept BALLAD the way it was, changing You were.... from BALLAD. (Endless sorrow was originally SEPIA apparently but because someone else was releasing a similarly titled song, the title was changed, and so on...)

That tracklist was something I saw on AyuLoveAyu and posted in the rumors thread in this forum and apparently someone posted it over at 2ch with some of the corrections made to it (PerMisson [in the original post] was corrected to PerMission and so on) but it looks like someone made it into some sort of graphic file now?

"Missoon5" makes no sense XD Unless Ayu decided to use another language in that title...
It's supposed to be a pun on Maroon5 or something. I think this is one of those fanmade "albums" where the titles take inspiration from Western artists. I think the album might be close to finished, but since she has been recording for a while and hasn't told us "The album's done!!" or anything like that, we should assume any tracklists that come from non-avex related sources are fake. Usually if the album is announced [for Ayu] and the album isn't finished, they just say: "1X tracks/songs to be included!" in place of a tracklist.
