the Last Links lyrics are beautiful. poetic. i think my fav so far :)

ayumisrael 30th March 2010 09:49 PM

I'm glad that there will be only 3 interludes this time. ^___^

And Last Links lyrics are soooo pretty <3

It's going to be a huge album from what it seems. =D

truehappiness 30th March 2010 09:55 PM

Mmm, so the 12 songs were not including an introduction! -adds to first post-

I'm a bit lost, cause I didn't find those infos in the first post.
For the most part, everything that has recently come out has been posted separately from this thread. PVs and etc. have all gotten their own threads. The organization of the post sort of makes it so that if we start adding PVs/mp3 rips/lyrics/etc, we'd get super cluttered up, haha.

I should get to reorganizing it...

OyTony 30th March 2010 10:07 PM

Thank you truehappiness~ : D
I really want to see the Tour Goods ;_;
So happy for only 3 interludes, this album is awesome. : D

truehappiness 30th March 2010 10:09 PM

I guess we already deduced this from the very start?

12 songs in lyric sheet random drawing -> 12 full songs -> no one would get introduction lyrics -> only 3 "interludes/introductions"...

Yay! Haha.

Chaku uta for these songs will release soon along with the chaku uta full versions of the songs we have already.

From the chaku uta page apparently:
Quote:

★「Last Links」
┗強く願うメッセージ! 人を愛することで生きていける! [A message of hope! You can live by loving!]
TBSテレビ系全国ネット『報道特集』エンディング・テーマ
★「meaning of Love」
┗溢れる幸せ! 大きな愛に包まれた壮大ラブソング! [Overflowing happiness! A great love song wrapped in ooki na ai (a greater love)!]
See the Sunrise ref? haha. Ooki na ai wo!

Moriko 30th March 2010 10:17 PM

yah! seems like meaning of love is really upbeat!

Where did you get upbeat from? Haha. It's probably a ballad.

Suteisi 30th March 2010 10:23 PM

You were..., BALLAD and Sunset... That's enough ballads on an album for me XD But that's not likely to happen....

GRACE 30th March 2010 10:24 PM

"Overflowing happiness" causes my hopes for meaning of Love to die. I'm expecting Sunset~even happier version~, gr8.

Last Links has a bit of promise to it~~

Overflowing happiness, sounds for me like a upbeat Track about Love

truehappiness 30th March 2010 10:26 PM

The album seems to be 1/3 ballads, 1/3 upbeat, 1/3 other/rock, haha. (Out of the 12 songs, anyway...)

Ballads:
You were...
BALLAD
Sunset ~LOVE is ALL~
meaning of Love
[RED LINE?]

Upbeat:
Sunrise ~LOVE is ALL~
Lady Dynamite
Sexy little things
Last Links [??]
[RED LINE?]

Other/rock:
Don't look back
Microphone
count down
[RED LINE?]

RED LINE is the only one that's missing at the moment, haha. I wonder what she'll do to it.

... overflowing happiness doesn't necessarily mean upbeat imo. The "huuuuuuuuge / so / sakan dai rabu songu" thing makes it sound like it's supposed to be an epic ballad.

I'd say mid-tempo. There has to be something to transition something up-beat like Sunrise to a ballad like You were...

Since moL is not an interlude as we all suspected, it has would have to be something that still transitions from high to low.

It could even been a mid-tempo/rock ballad. Maybe something alterna's pace?

truehappiness 30th March 2010 10:30 PM

I'm not sure... they really seem to exaggerate the "love song" nature of it. If it weren't for that, I'd think mid-tempo. Let's see what the BBS has to say... -checks-

Okay, looking at comments:
- Last Links could fit in with End of the World or Heartplace from PCDL
- Dark orchestral melodies in Don't look back are present in montage[?]
- Jump! has some layered Ayu digital electro rock vocals with Ayu saying JUMP a bunch of times it seems? A lot of people like it.
- THE introduction has a feeling of a "LIVE CONCERT OPENING" or something
- People really like her vocals in meaning of Love and say it's a ballad with a strange/pretty melody

On the Secret Album we had BLUE BIRD ( Popsong ), kiss o' kill ( Rocksong ), Secret ( Ballad ) and all without an interlud.

So she doesn't need to make a transition Song between an Popsong and a Ballad

wtf implies that Last Links would be anything but a ballad? it's placement doesn't imply it's uptempo, it's lyrics don't imply it's uptempo, and as far as I know we don't have any comments about it.

The lyrics sounds like it could be something like NEXT LEVEL

mi|kshake 30th March 2010 10:38 PM

So glad Last Links is a full song - was convinced it was an interlude. Thought it'd be a slow, nostalgic song but reading the lyrics it sounds very....sunny.

mi|kshake~

truehappiness 30th March 2010 10:39 PM

Apparently Last Links has a feel that could fit with songs like End of the World / Heartplace, so... replacing that.

This album is rather balanced. FYI, no need to get all catty about it, jeez. I even put question marks next to it because I wasn't really sure. [This sort of pushed me towards it, but it seems like it might a rockish tune? [A message of hope! You can live by loving!]]

- meaning of Love appears to have a HAL arrangement
- similar songs to Last Links are Liar and Endless sorrow somewhat
- the sabi / chorus of Last Links has a feel of the calm part of kiss o' kill
- Last Links would make a good song to listen to on the beach
- meaning of Love has a beautiful vocal... the song is like a "crunchy sweet" feel? Huh.
- Last Links is coooooool
- RED LINE's album version will be distributed by mu-mo
- Last Links' melody and lyrics are beautiful! I was crying!

My observation of meaning of Love:
The song sounds as though it's another take on is this LOVE? Especially lyrically.

"Surely... this feeling. This is what people call love."

primavera♥ 30th March 2010 10:43 PM

this all sounds quite exciting ^___^

Moriko 30th March 2010 10:46 PM

I was hoping for a new HAL Song no matter if it's a Ballad or a Upbeat Song
