so i was using my highlight translator add on (which most the time is right or close at least..) ..highlighting the characters and when i got to Lady Dynamite it translated to 'Tues Explosion Prostitute' :dead2
That totally took me back for a second lol

When i go on my trip to China, I'm gonna buy it :D
since I'm saving for China now, i can't afford to get the album when it first comes out :(

火爆 = hot
女郎 = prostitute

火爆女郎 = Hot prostitute

火爆女郎 IS NOT HOT PROSTITUTE lol!

It means:

火爆 = Dynamic/Explosive
女郎 = Lady/Woman/Girl (Lady's the most accurate though)

thus 火爆女郎 REALLY means Dynamic Lady = Lady Dynamite...

meaning of Love could be 愛的意義 while Don't look back is abit difficult, maybe 不再回首.

In Chinese, there is the concept of red thread (紅線), which means the bond between two persons in a romantic relationship. as for RED LINE, i guess the meaning ayu wants to convey is beyond love between 2 persons, but wider and broader. that's why it's ~for TA~.

sometimes you can understand Chinese in this way 一線的牽系 just a shorter version
well about 愛意 this is SPECIAL Abbreviation in Chinese
I don't mean this is the same meaning with 愛的意義.But if you can read Chinese well you will find 愛意(of course referring to meaning of Love) sounds more deep than 愛的意義.

Yup. Most of them have Chinese translations, they are all printed on the side of the obi( Taiwan version), in blue letters, against white background.

this is what i got from my popup translator

Many of her Chinese-releases of albums have her name in them too like (miss)understood was (bu)jie which means "unable to be understood or Ayu-sister" since her Chinese name is "bin qi bu"~

This is the first one that has been literally translated word for word.

That's what it translates to.

They take certain liberties with their translations sometimes.

there's no actual word for this; closest is "used to be", which is similar to "You were...", I guess.

yes, it is, as You were... is quite hard to translate in a short and beautiful term. 你曾經…… is the direct translation but it sounds crappy. so i think 曾經…… is good enough.

Lol, I'm not lovin' the translations. Prussian Blue is right, the "的" in Last Links makes it feel rather clumsy. Sexy Little Things kind of missed the mark. And I'm not altogether fond of You Were...'s translation, although I realize that Chinese doesn't have tense, it only has aspect (Halliday might argue with this) and the copula can't take an aspect particle, so that doesn't help any, and...

And no play on Ayu's Chinese name in the title this time? Whadda disappointment.
