Max, they charge your card after you get it in your hands. that's how they usually do for me.

I ordered from YesAsia. My Ayu R'n'RC Special Limited Boxset still says "preorder" as of this morning. however, the two posters say "ready to be shipped" and the lucky draw gift says "waiting for stock". I'm guessing mine will all be shipped out by Wednesday.

btw~ anyone that ordered from hmv - did shipping start already? i'm wondering when they'll ship mine and the money hasn't come out of my account yet.

mine has been "in transit" for about 14 hours now, it hasn't shipped yet. but hmv usually ship things out on or 1 day before the official release date.

Oh my god I can't believe it! They shipped out 2 orders with Perfume's single and Angela Aki's single each but not the box set! It's still in Shipping Process when all 3 orders went into shipping process at the same time! Plus RnR C has been in shipping process ever since yesterday... and they emailed me saying it will only be shipped tomorrow 14 April :(

Hey maybe this is just my personal experience but I've found that they(CDJ) tend to ship items that are being sent to places closer to Japan than those further off beforehand.

^ I may be wrong but SURREAL__RAINBOW lives in Australia and his box set is already shipped... isn't Australia further from Japan than Singapore?? :(

I honestly feel sad because it's probably the first time something isn't shipped on time when others have... and I've been using CDjapan for the past 3 years and this is the first time happening. (And of all orders it has to be one that I am anticipating a lot)

Uhhh... i know australia is sorta south of Japan, but by quite a bit. I know singapore is in South Asia, but I'm not sure of its exact location. Is it sorta south of HK/China Area?

^ah ok. so Australia is a bit further i guess. Just I always personally did find that I tended to have mine shipped after people closer to Japan, but maybe its just me.

Knowing YesAsia lately it'll take 14 business days and we don't get mail on Saturdays here, so that's a couple extra days.

I'm still waiting on my Ayu Live 08-09 photobook w/ tshirt to get here that was shipped March 30th, but April 2nd and 4th were also holidays due to easter. It's kinda funny, cause back before new year's all my parcels from them were arriving in 4-5 business days. I dunno what happened.

Still, i think I'll probably get mine after absolutely everyone else. Our mail's been slow as hell lately. Been taking 14 business days to get half my parcels here. Even stuff I get from other places besides YA. Also, theres no mail sent or received Saturdays so that takes a little bit longer than other places that do get mail 6 days a week.

i pre-ordered mine on 27th march and i received it today

I always preorder like Ayu and Kumi stuff on first day that they're listed, but there was still others that still got theirs shipped first. Still, i guess it doesnt matter. That was a long time ago anyways. still, i may get mine afterwards cause Canada's much further away than Singapore... Also, Canada Post sucks. Still, I've also gotten to be much more patient. I'm used to not having everything i like at my fingertips.

so lucky... i wonder when will mine arrive.....

It's just a matter of shipping itself. Logically, countries closer to Japan will receive them sooner than countries that are further away.

It's like if I was shipping two of the same things via air mail: one is within my country and the other is in, say, Europe for example. I think it's logical to say that the person in my country will receive it before the person in Europe...

i always use CDJ, and pay by credit card, yet i NEVER had that problem.

but i do remember something similar happened to other members when they ordered A COMPLETE, they choose reg. air mail as shipping method, but with the lucky prize they won being those puzzles, cdj informed them that their item will be shipped by EMS instead, free of charge... talk about luck xD

anyways... i never had to revise my shipping or anything similar at all.

about the whole shipping/recieving stuff...

i think it all just depends how the other posting units will go. they are all shipped with other cargo, and if the transportation goes by canada, items that go to canada will be shipped first and so on.
it's all pretty random and luck if you ask me. they just do it that way, it's the only logical thing.

i usually get my orders (from CDJ) the release date or the day after.

Even when ordering from CDJ i still get mine like 4 business days(not including saturdays) after the item's release.

Well my YA order has just shipped. Says so on my account. Just i think they sent the shipping confirmation email to my mom since I used her credit card to pay for the order.

^they probably got crowded with mailing out orders. theres still people ordering the album. Also, being this day of the week its a common day when most new releases are released so they probably have a TON to ship.

CDJ emailed me to revise shipping charges on Monday, i replied yesterday. this morning they sent me the email on this 500 yen coupon for my purchase. But my order still in shipping process! no change since Monday... :(

They usually email when they ship out the order right? and if shipping method was registered or EMS, they provide the tracking number too. does this mean they haven't shipped out my ordeR?

I used the airmail tracking today (I totally forgot Airmail HAD tracking, or didn't realize it ever did!) and as it turns out, one of my copies of the album shipped out on the 10th, the other on the 12th... It's going to be like Christmas lol Like presents keep coming in.

It takes about two days. Did you say you approved of the extra charge on your card? Otherwise it's not going to get shipped. Mine just got shipped today. Reply to e-mail -> response in 2 days -> order is shipped out 2 days later.

hey interesting, but yesasia has more copies of the limited boxset. just they now boosted up the price to $179.99US to account for including the posters.

Hmmm based on what happened to me, that first line is pretty much false. I preordered my box set on the VERY DAY it was listed on 5th March but mine only just got shipped today while others had theirs shipped yesterday :(

Nonetheless now that it's shipped I guess I'm happy :)

^Depends where u ordered from. I find airmail from CDJapan arrives in 4-5 business days myself, while YA's shipping takes 7 business days. Also depends on whether or not you live in a place that has mail on Saturdays cause if you don't that'd slow it down a tad.

oh and this is confusing. My YA order status has now been changed back to "ready to be shipped".... If it doesn't officially ship within next hour then I know they won't ship it til when I wake up tomorrow morning.

^ I got mine today, choose Armail @ CDJapan and received the email on monday morning (but they actually shipped it on friday it seems). So yeah, you should receive it before the week end, it might also depends on where you live (if it's Europe or the US, you should be getting it soon!)
Or it could also mean you've won something and they didn't have it in stock yet :p
Or it could also be that they shipped it already but forgot to update your page (it happened to me once, I received my order and the statut was stilll "in shipping progress" on the page ;)

Yeah, I just knew it can be tracked too, thanks to nanakopy. CDJ kept insisting that there's no online tracking for registered airmail, haha. Mine shipped out on the 12th, ah well. Tomorrow makes it four days, and I just can't wait any longer T____T

Ahh!!! So I wasn't wrong! I thought I was going crazy; they made such a show of stating that only EMS had tracking that it never occured to me that Airmail did have it and I only realized recently.

I used to get my packages with EMS, but I get them with airmail now; EMS shipping is just waaaay too expensive, especially on CDJ.

For the one that came in on the 10th, it should be here by now, for the 12th one tomorrow is only so my fourth day then.

CD Japans EMS was a lot faster for the last times I ordered I always got my albums on the day of release Japan time aka one day early my time but this time the wait is really killing me since they didnt ship it up until yesterday and its apperantly still in Japan now :/

My box went into shipping process on the 13th and it got shipped on April 14th 5:18 AM, now i can't trace it until it reaches europe.
i really hope that i'll get it maybe friday or saturday, but with the box being big and heavy i'm afraid customs is gonna ruin my plans and keep the box and i'll have to pay extra for it.

They kept my NL USB for 18 day .. seriously 18 whole days and when it got here i had to pay €36 extra. ( €36 = araound 49 / 50 dollars) seriously i don't even want to know how much extra i'll have to pay for the box when they decide to keep it :S stupid Customs
