April 14th (Wed) NEW ALBUM [Rock'n'Roll Circus] Release!

Release date confirmed for 11th official album!
Including big hit double-A-side singles [Sunrise/Sunset~LOVE is ALL~] [You were.../BALLAD], and recordings done in London for the first time, the new album features 10 new tracks (planned).
The DVD will feature more than half the number of songs in the album, with 8 music clips! Moreover, all making-of clips will be included. Digests for the DVD [ayumi hamasaki ARENA TOUR 2009 A ~NEXT LEVEL~], which will be released on the same day, will be included as a bonus as well!

Spanning about 7 months in 2009, from April to October, with 35 shows in 12 cities around the country, produced by 300,000 staff, the much anticipated DVD for the Arena Tour Live is here! The entire show done on the very last day at Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Tokyo has been recorded!
With songs from the [NEXT LEVEL] album, mixed with popular songs from the past and present, and 10 costume changes, an entertaining and colourful show never before seen.
All emcee sessions, bigscreen movies, and videos of special moments will be included (planned)!!

Pop-star ayumi hamasaki (31) has announced that 12 self-penned lyric-sheets have been enclosed within 12 out of approximately 400,000 initial pressing CD+DVD copies of her new album [Rock’n’Roll Circus] (released on 14 April).
She has stated that this is a surprise from herself to the buyer. She got the idea of distributing presents, and she enclosed the lyric-cards in order to directly convey the world of music.
She used her favourite pen in order to write on A4 size paper.
With regard to the 12/400,000 probability of obtaining one of these rare items, hamasaki has said, “I put a lot of emotion into writing these, so I hope they will be treasured by whomever receives them.”
Moreover a new song not included on the album, unconfirmed as to whether or not it will be released, will be a free chaku-uta present to fan club members who purchase the album.

Regarding first press goods, basically -
A poster comes with a purchase of the CD+DVD / CD only, and there's a separate poster for AT09's DVD.
The photobook only comes with the CD+DVD and the CD+DVD in the box set.
There is a special access card with a serial number for a new song not in the album that can only be used by TeamAyu members in all copies of the album.
There are also various things like a lucky draw, but they're basically making this release as confusing as possible when it comes to first press goods.

I just finished the album about 30 seconds ago! The way she ended the album made me die in a good way lol! The whole album is a cool experience, this was really thought out well :)! And meaning of Love is amazing! THE introduction was very Disney electric light parade-esq :laugh

So I saw people mentioning the little surprise when you listen to Last Links on your headphones, and I was thinking about it. When you use head phone, the music is mostly in the right headphone. When you first listen to it you almost feel like your deaf in your left ear, or at least that's what I got. Maybe Ayu's making a statement?

one thing...my order has shipped today from yesasia,& I did the preorder before the news of the lottery & I didnīt get any of the lucky draw prices of Rock and Roll circus,it is says that I will get an "Hamasaki Ayumi A Complete -All Singles- Random Gift",why I got this item?Anyone got it too?

I'm really worried. I pre-ordered by boxset from PlayAsia a month ago and it still says "Preparing Order" and has no estimated shipping date. I feel so dumb now and I couldve ordered from YesAsia when they had it again today for a limited time. :(

For me, i'll receive my parcels at least 8 days to 3 weeks, after I receive their emails....
It's cdjapan that have those incidents, with ems.
If i buy from hmv, it's 2 to 4 days after.

Somehow, count down and Last Links hint at her left ear. And i wonder if she intentionally produced them in such a way that both are not only rock, but there is indeed this element that something feels missing in them...as though in her world, no matter how complete, that silence on one side doesnt make it wholesome at all. I personally love both tracks because I find them so raw. just a thought.

Same thing O__O They sended me a notice for changing the delivery to faster one two days ago [I choosed UPS, cos it`s the fastest and there was 1-2 dollars difference anyway [Price was 36 euros or 49,90 USD] but the order is still "on hold" I emailed them today thought.. let`s see what happens.

@ toniayu,it sound troublesome right?but so far i have no problem with them.like last 2 weeks,i order a DVD from them.they mentioned on my order page there that they will send the DVD to me in 5 days time but they didn't do so because they are still searching for stock.so i emailed them on the 5th day ask if they can find the stock or not.they replied me within 6 hours(i emailed them in the morning and they replied back around afternoon or evening) saying they are still searching for stock and ask me to wait few more days.who knows they found the stock on the day i email them and they send it out on the same day :D
they are not like yesasia who do not answer your question. :P
sorry.i hate yesasia so much because they always ignore my questions.

I received my boxset from amazon yesterday. The box is huge! The booklet and photobook pics are great. Glossy photobook cover! Love the making ofs too except for lady dynamite...he was more annoying than sparkle.
