I am listening to this song right now. no way to say... Sounds like a great title. MTRLB, hontou ni arigatou gozaimasu! I think it's a great song. The style is nothing like I've ever, ever heard from ayu. But it is a gorgeous song. Incredible. I would love if this is the way her music is going... It is a beautiful song full of emotion and power. The melody is amazing and it seems to be more within ayu's comfortable range so she really belts it out. I think this is better for her voice than straining to get high notes... I think BOUNCEBACK did a GREAT GREAT FANTASTIC job creating such a beautiful melody and creating it with ayu's voice in mind...

I really, really hope that everyone in Japan and all of ayu's fans will support this new style. I love it completely. I think this is one of the best songs I've ever heard. I can't say enough about it.

And it's yet another time ayu has introduced a new song by singing it before the single is released. Let's hope that she releases one for this song because, like I said, I'm beside myself with loving it. *LOL*

Ayu has been busy with her TV show, concerts and lots of other things lately. At the "M - I am..." period I'm sure she had a lot more time for her singing career. Now I think it's impossibly human to do hundreds of things at the same time...That's why I hate that Ayu-ready? ****. It doesn't add anything to her career plus it overexposes her unecessarily....even though it's cool for fans to watch but well you can get the essence.
I don't mind other peope composing for her. 4 albums from her were like that...just one was not....and even though I am... is considered by a lot of people as her best work her other albums were still awesome.

I LOVE THIS SINGLE. It's that simple. This single is sooooooooo good that words can't describe it. Her voice sounds great in the live, so you can expect that in the single ver. it'll sound 10x better. I'm so happy at this moment. This DEFINETLY cancels the damage ayu-mi-x 5 did to my love of Ayu.

The song itself is just OK but i agree it sounds like a throwback to A song for XX. But the thing that really turns me off is the way she chose to sing this song (with that whiny tone).

If you listen closely you could hear her past music to present music of her song. Mixing all music of her old song into one is very well done. " I am... " and " free & easy " tune got mix into this. I love it!!!:thumbsup

I like this song. Not so much the beginning, because her voice is sort of rough in a way, but towards the middle of the song its just fantastic! It's a very different style for ayu, if i could explain any further I would, but its just very different. I like it. I agree with a lot of you. I think BOUNCEBACK should just stick with BoA though. BOUNCEBACK's stuff is like ... ok. Nothing that I would get all excited about.

I'm not liking her vocals like this again. She was younger when she had this, and it was cute. Now, after establishing herself with a more mature voice, to go back would be murder.

I think she's at the stage in her carreer that she's going to do what SHE likes to do. So these singles aren't up to par with her other songs in our opinions. It's still a great song!

I dunno why everyone's calling this a new style for Ayu its really really not. I got excited all over the idea of a new song but when i heard the song..... ~_~ same average arrangement and feel. Im thinking of ignoring the next Ayu album b/c of all these terrible songs. The inconsistencies of her releases this year has really got me irked.

I think the background music done by bounceback similar to HAL's style of music or "Amulet" by them.

She can express herself even though she doesn't write the music.

Not all the songs on "I Am..." were her style. And not all of them were written by her. Most noteably, everyone's favorite trance song, "connected". System F wrote it. But she gets to pick what goes on the album.

And I didn't say she was JUST NOW going to that stage. I said she's at that stage. I congratulate her.

And I love this song!

BTW: Vibrato is a sign of a healthy, full voice. Vibrato=good. As annoying as everyone may think it is, you're SUPPOSED to have it.

Yep. I'm sure if ayu didn't like the composition she wouldn't agree on singing it. Ayu is a versatile singer, she's ALWAYS changing her style. Just compare vogue with Connected and those with forgiveness? Those songs have nothing in simillar yet are sang by the same person. She has so many different stuff and that's what I like on her. Maybe she's in a poppy experimental phase but who cars? I don't really care if a song is meant to be "catchy"Hell if it's catchy is because it caught your attention.
