Waiting for the translation, thanks so much Misa-chan! :D
The pictures look cuuute, and I also recognize the second one, it was on twitter :laugh |
she's really adorable. xD

Done!!
NOTE: Please keep an open mind when reading this entry, because I know some people will definitely go on a fan-rampage because of some things ayu says here. |
Quote:
But I am so happy she uses twitter for us foreig fans from now on =) |
thank you Misa-chan!
hmm do you know what was the commotion that led her deciding not to upload photos to Twitter anymore? seems like it was a pretty serious issue.. |
The Japanese fans probably complained what's the point of paying for TA, if you're going to share photos and stuff for free on twitter?
|
Quote:
She'll put photos she takes on her ayu's DIARY on her FC page and that's just fine with me. It's not like we're not going to get them, haha. Those 4-5 photos are going to have hundreds of thousands of views soon though. |
thats good to hear!she's spending her time on us,the international fans
|
Quote:
I mean, TA members do pay 6,000yen per year to get first-hand info from ayu, so if she starts to disseminate info through Twitter first, that's gonna start a big uproar lol. :D |
Aww.. Misa was right... I'm kinda disappoint here. But it's okay. Maybe Ayu was scolded by her fans for comparing the free twitter with the paid TA. Who knows..
Although she doesn't upload it her pictures after this, she'll keep uploading it in TA right..? If that so, it's okay for me.. Thanks again misa. |
Thank you Misa-chan.
I like that she talks about her feelings and that she gives this kind of.. how can I say? Assurence to the japanese fans, that TA still is the most important. Since Japan is her homecountry, the place where she became a big star and everything. If I imagine I was a Japanese fan, I would be so happy to hear that. It's great for us international fans that she even decided to post on twitter! She shows us that we are important, too. The picture where she "has the sky in her hand" is so cute :laugh |
Quote:
She did and is going to upload pics which her band members, dancers, doggies, and foods/etc are in to tell international fans what she is doing and to communicate with her fans more frankly/frequently. I don't think it's very strange to use the official site and twitter for different purposes/ways, how do you all think? :P:yes |
well... it's just photos. at least she's not quitting Twitter :laugh at least both international and Japanese fans are satisfied now!
|
Oh, that's disappointing :( I understand though that TA would like to keep that privilege to themselves, I guess. As long as she won't stop using Twitter, it's the only way for her international fans to interact with her!
|
Wait...
So Chon-nan's photos basically means "photos of Ayu" and that's all? She'll still be uploading photos of other random things? |
^ Yeah she did some minutes ago. XD
|
Ah, I see the takoyaki.
|
Quote:
ちょんなんの写真 can mean both her pics and pics in which ayu is. The reason I believe she means "pics in which ayu is" is she wrote this: > これまでも、これからも、ちょんなんの写真を > ついったーにアップしたりはしない (= so far, and from this on, I didn't/don't upload ちょんなんの写真 to twitter.) but as you know she uploaded some random pics just after the first concert in Osaka. :D edit: haha. that's good > takoyaki |
Quote:
Will edit first post. |
Well thanks for translating :)
|
by the way, this is Tsūtenkaku, which ayu had on her hand:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tsūtenkaku I don't think we can recognize it in the pic ^^; |
wahh~~ Ayu really does uses iPhone :)
NICE! ah~ just read the entry~~ we understand Ayu~ but if Twitter is the purpose to interact with the international/foreign fans.. why always speak in Japanese? hiks hiks.. that's what I don't quite understand though~~ ahh sorry~~ but well, that's ok~~~ |
It's a nice entry :D
I'm happy she's still using twitter~ |
ah~ anyway, i hope that the 2nd picture is the proof that Ayu does really have twitter and she's the one who posted all those tweets and pics :)
|
Quote:
|
Probably for the other japanese fans that can't afford to join TA! :)
|
it's not like she made twitter only for her International Fans xD Of course she'll write in Japanese, She's Japanese after all lol and it's not like only International Fans are following her. Think people think.
|
Quote:
And maybe to tell them that they are also welcome to interact with her on twitter as well.. |
but we also can't afford to join Team Ayu moreover we're not living in Japan T___T
i'm not accussing Ayu something, or to judge her..just that, she said she uses twitter to interact with the foreign fans.. so probably, can she tweet more to the foreign fans too? I know Ayu can't do that but probably.. arghh i donno~~ I know she absolutely HAS the right to refer her Japanese fans more special.. but i guess.. maybe she should give us more chance to interact with her? hmm sorry~ just my thought.. |
Don't ask for too much :)
I think she already did a lot for us - in the last days she interacted a lot in English. And don't forget she mentioned crea_spain in her MC, I think this is also a big thing. |
Quote:
Or some people who are not Japanese still message in Japanese. It's her native tongue, I don't think there is any reason to be jealous or disappoint about it. She will post in english when she has to. |
and this is why she's gotta get an international TA :D :D
i wouldnt mind paying for it at all :innocent and I would love getting her messages in English and the extra prizes with each purchase... etc etc etc :inlove thanks a lot for this! i hope the TA members dont feel too upset because of ayu using twitter |
yea i know she has done a lot of thing..
I don't ask for too much, just wondering.. and hoping she could do more for the international fans... I'm not so eagerly mad because she doesn't reply me few times.. it's just what I think~ that's all~ jealous and disappointed will always occur though..that's normal.. just that i'll have to try to think in a positive way~~ it's not that I'm gonna turn into an anti JUST because she doesn't reply me haha XD that'll be so insane lmao~ and yea, i try so hard to learn few Japanese words to message her too..hopefully, she'll get to read those even though she can't reply.. *finger crossed* |
Japanese fans and their jealousy. They're lucky enough just to be living in the same country as Ayu and can readily enjoy her music/image/personality much more easily than us. It doesn't make our love for her any less than TA members. :rolleyes
|
hiks i wish i could live in Japan.. i could go to her concerts each year~~ haha~~
oh well, that's ok~ through twitter, we still can somehow get connected to her.. she posts some random pics, which is fun even though there are no personal pics of herself.. |
Quote:
thanx Misa |
haha~ I hope Ayu won't feel bad to either both sides, the Japanese and the international fans haha XD
still, i'm grateful enough that Ayu has made twitter account :) |
I won't complain, but I admit I'm a little sad she won't be posting pics of herself. (I don't really see what's the big deal) It would have been fun, but at least she's communicating with us! ^^
|
Quote:
I am grateful, too, and I hope she will reply one of my tweets in the next days.. weeks.. :laugh However I am really happy she talked to so much people. |
but i cant deny it i feel quite sad :( the japanese fans should be really greatful and proud of Ayu so its ok if she tweets its her decision~ plus, she replies a lot in japanese so not really a big deal :(
|
A little disappointed, but I also understand the japanese fans' point of view~
Thanks Misa! |
aww.. Ayu is so cute.. kind of pity that she's not uploading any photos at twitter. I thought it wld be nice if she put her photos there..
|
Luja, yeah~ despite of her being the busiest woman in daily life..
I just hope that she could get enough sleep~~ |
Thanks for sharing!
|
Quote:
In general people need 7-8 hours, but some of my friends are fine with 5 hours of sleep... Lol Maybe she's like that too. |
What she posted is completely understandable :yes
|
She looks really adorable :heart
At least, international and japanese fans are satisfied both :yes and doesn't bother me at all. If I want to see her pics, there's AHS and the great Misa-chan's translations! :D |
Thanks for translation Misa-chan!
I totally understand her. TA will always be the most important to her. Personally I'm really thankful to her for communication thought Twitter with us!:) |
great entry :)
maybe the TA fans feel a bit down because she tewwts more than she writtes on TA :S idk... maybe twitter should be for international fans only :3 that way everyone might get a chance to talk to her :) |
Quote:
|
Quote:
I don't think it's just "Japanese fans and their jealousy" .... make it "fans and their jealousy" instead =3 I wouldn't find it funny if I had to pay so much and then she starts using a free social network and share everything she shares on TA =o |
1. International fans aren't even allowed into her fanclub. (Well through complicated fake-Japanese-addresses and BS like that)
2. 60$ a year is nothing, considering they also get a magazine, extra bonus items on releases, ticket lottery etc etc. It doesn't hardly weigh up against the shipping costs we have to pay for her items to reach us all over the world. 3. They should stop acting like whining little children, her international fans have been waiting for ages for Ayu to acknowledge them and now she's finally giving us a tiny little slice of attention and they get jealous. Ridiculous. Keep using Twitter, Ayu!! :) We love you for it!! <3 |
Neffiline, yea, when ppl said they only need 5 hours for sleep, actually that's really not good for the body.. but yeah.. she's very used to it already..i just hope that, maybe she can change that habit of her even though it's hard, well yeah, it's her life though haha XD
Keiichi_JPU, hmm what can we do..just like someone said before.. it's her own country's ppl..so it's normal for her to side to the Japanese fans ~ it's sad but yeah, we are not lucky born as Japanese haha XD |
Quote:
2. true, but it's still 60$, this is a lot (imo xD) 3. agreed :D |
Ayu's sleep - she's used to not sleeping much. She can probably function on 4-5 hours sleep. The amount of sleep people need depends from person to person. Ayu's been sleeping like this for a long time so she's used to it.
And anyway, I don't know what the big deal with TA members being upset over Ayu having a twitter. As far as I know she can't post any blogs on twitter. So she's always going to need her TA blog. I guess it might have been the pictures they were more worried about. Do her TA members have no idea how easily stuff from there leaks onto English forums? lol @ the warning, was that in relation to her "communicating with English fans" on her Twitter? |
I understand where she's coming from. I can't be upset with an angel who is doing every thing she can for ALL of her fans. Giving her that book in London made it impossible for her to ignore us so she made a twitter so she could connect with us and look what happened with Jorge! The Japanese fans may be a little jealous but she can't just say to them tough cookies I'm giving all my attention to my international fans this time because you all have these perks lol. She has to please both sides.
|
I may be upset if we didn't get her TA diaries anyways, thanks to Misa-chan and all the other TA members here.
Honestly those of us on AHS shouldn't be complaining because we get them anyways!!! :P Thanks for the translation! |
Quote:
They just have to understand that as of right now, it is the only way for us to communicate with Ayumi. They have the chance to see her every single year. Us international fans have to work harder and save big bucks to afford a plane ticket on top of good seats. Not to mention the language barrier, etc. |
I think its more about the TA members paying. If her blogs were accessable for free, I doubt they'd care just because she's paying attention to her international fans.
|
yeap..so true, at least we still can get to read TA diaries in english trans..
thanks to Misa-chan~ *bows* |
^ dont you guys feel really tired lately since Ayu's tweeting XD? we should concentrate on the new album and the tour but seems that it'd cause a lilttle "chaos" bout this =.=
|
@Keiichi_JPU: There are 2 types of memberships at TA. For those who are just interested in ticket preorders and special gifts, they can just join the cheaper membership of 4,000yen. The people who pay the extra 2,000yen do so just for access to her TA site and blog. So yeah, if she starts sharing these things out for free on Twitter, people are definitely gonna get angry.
And it's true, when people share anything from her special TA site, such as these blog entries, it's at our own risk. Because it is not free material, and copyrighted to boot. I'm a little more thick-skinned because I'm not a native, but you can see that people like oji-i-san won't be sharing these things. It's because if we ever get found out, we can get into very serious legal trouble if avex decides to persecute us. So yep, bottomline is, TA is not free material, and people do get upset when TA-limited stuff gets leaked like this. @Tony_G: no, the warning was because I was sure some people will start badmouthing the Japanese fans when they read this entry, like calling them selfish and stuff. |
Nya I felt a bit upset when I read=(. If I were an artist I would love my fans the same way no matter the nationality. Anyway, I would love an International TA =D I'd pay 60 dollars a year (5 dollars a month =O) to get special stuff. I pay more only with shipping and even more with international tax of my country -_-'!
Anyway, as long as she keeps her Twitter I'm happy =D. I hope someday she reply me ^^ |
ah~~, my name is mentioned? ^^;
well, I'd recommend you all to join the TA if you can afford US60$ + some extra. How you can join it is in the thread aura~ kindly made in the chat room. I personally recommend AHS to have these TA blog threads in the chat room or somewhere so that only registered AHS members can read them. (In other words, so that search engines and people in avex will not find them.) Ayu and Avex are very careful about what information should be provided and through what media it should be provided. So, I think it's better for AHS members to be careful about such things as well. anyway, as a native japanese, I feel unhappy if AHS members are bad-mouthing japanese fans. J-fans are not bad-mouthing foreign fans at all, i believe. They're just saying they feel that the distance between Ayu and her/himself is getting bigger when they recognize ayu gets more and more fans. I think everyone can understand this feeling. And needless to say I really appreciate Misa-chan taking her own risk of losing TA membership and doing this very very hard task of translating J to E for the international fans. :yes:yes:yes |
Yeah, International Fans shouldn't get obsessively jealous lol.
Ayu's been on twitter for a week and you already forgot what's it like to not have any Ayu update at all >.> be thankful Ayu's using twitter for everyone of us. |
Thanks misa!
and thanks ayu for making the Twitter account! :D |
Hmm... Did she start a twitter because of the "A World Is One" book? So she would never have a Twitter in the first place if it wasn't for those fans in London? O: Gasp.
|
that's good...
i think she really want to know her international fans more although her japanese fans is more important and that's understandable...hope for world tour soon... |
at first when i read this message it kind of hurt my feelings honestly. it kind of made me feel like some kind of evil foreign fan who doesn't deserve the same kind of access to ayumi that japanese fans have. after i thought about it, i don't think ayumi meant it that way. i do understand that fans in team ayu should get some really great benefits that no other fans have, otherwise what is the point of them paying? i think the mistake that avex and/or ayumi is making is in not opening team ayu up to foreign fans as well. perhaps there is a reason why though, i'm not sure. as far as ayumi knows, foreign fans have no access to her team ayu blogs, so she wouldn't think we could read those messages anyway. if she really legitimately wants to connect with us as well, i'm sure there is a better way of doing it than sending us a few twitter messages. and if she is on twitter for us, then why are most of her messages in japanese?
but i'm not complaining at all. i think its amazing that thru a world is one, ayumi finally recognizes her international fan community. i remember years and years of being an ayumi fan where the only news we really got was big announcments like a new single or album. in the past we never had updates of ayumi's day to day life, what she was thinking or doing at any particular time. months would go by with no news or anything at all. so compared to that, we live in an ayumi golden age!!! also, i really appreciate those members here who translate TA messages for us. without you, we wouldn't have this amazing access. i do agree with oji-i-san though, perhaps we should be a little more careful about where these messages are posted. couldn't we have a members only forum for them??? |
Quote:
|
I'm very happy now we can read her TA blog and happier when she tweets (thanx for sharing)
In twitter, Ayu doesn't share too much, she just simply rep some question (funny or stupid question)... she of course know the limit, rite. And the last I don't think they even not know English to read our mess =.= so why they still complain about it? I can't understand! |
cool
|
"Twitter just gives me a chance to talk to foreign fans in English, and that makes me happy."
:luv2 I agree, Japanese fans would be wondering what the point of paying for TA would be if twitter is basically the same thing content wise... :p This post makes sense! I'm not angry. |
^ quite agreed :)
this was a nice message. thanks misa |
People who still complain about her not giving enough attention to foreign fans are extremely ungrateful and selfish imo. She's doing what she can, she didn't have to do all of this for us.
|
thanks misa chan~
|
whatever ayu is gonna upload or how she feels about TA, that's her personal right
for international fans, I'm just grateful that ayu knows about us and is willing to use another means to communicate with us! even if she still says TA is her home, even if she still says she won't post pic on twitter... that's her choice... and I support her regardless!! |
Thank's Misa! You're the best! I should say that for every translation! Also thanks for Oji for sometimes translating/editing!
Oh I totally get why Ayu says that. Sometimes I feel like we expect too much from her and she tries to do so much to please us all! Anyways I'm glad that she's so considerate of her fans! If I was in TA I would be hella pissed too. :P |
She has created a Twitter account to talk with abroad fans, isn't it lovely? we have to valorate that!
|
Quote:
TA is her diary, Twitter is just random thoughts and pictures. Both are precious to us fans because we'll take whatever we can get from Ayu, haha. People should play nice! We all get to enjoy her :D |
Well, it's too bad about the Japanese situation, but it's a good thing that Ayu is on Twitter for the international fans, not just Japanese fans! She should be targeting more on fans outside Japan on Twitter, and for the Japanese, they'll just have to settle for a TeamAyu membership, and maybe there could be a "reply"/"comment" link for the Japanese to respond on Ayu's Diary messages...
That can really be an advantage to the international fans - maybe not to the Japanese, but others around the world outside Japan, including here in the United States - eventually Ayu could respond to me! (On the other hand, Sayuri Sugawara does NOT have a Twitter but has an in-site blog, with a bit of replies; maybe she's a good contender for Twitter with posting personal pictures of her because she does not have a paid fanclub and she's not really as popular as Ayu right now, with the fact that's she's still only 19 years old...) |
Quote:
|
Well I understand both sides, but I still think that those TA fans who send her messages saying she was talking too much in twitter ARE SELFISH.
And I won't change my mind... I'm not saying all TA is selfish.. but those comments from some. And I'm ALSO paying 60$! TA pay that for tickets, exclusive presents, pre-info and TA messages that are LONG not 5 words from ayu in twitter, and has a lot of pics of her. I agree in the comment about sharing TA things is dangerous cause it's not free material.. and I udnerstand that TA gets angry if we share it for free... I udnerstand it... It's just that as an international fan I feel that I have to share what I can get here... I just feel really SAD that ayu had to say it and say them how much she loves them more than us, that TA is her most precious thing... now they will hsut up and let us have a little bit of ayu without complaining??? and I'm happy ayu said the purpose of twitter was to talk with us in english! She knwos we "can't" join TA and I'm happy for that... finnally she realised we are here... Ohhh... I just can't understand why they complain!! Plus all their hard comments on ayu on twiiter "oh, why in english" "oh please, you are ignoring us" "oh, you seemed better person before I read your tweets" things liek that... and she had to say sorry!! Are they fans?? Why can't they just be happy ayu has so many fans?? Well... this is all I'm gonna say... XD |
Ohmy... O.O
thanks for the translation!!! |
Thanks for the translation~! Ayu is so cuuute~~~~~!!!!!! :heart
|
I'm just glad ayu opened up a way to chat wit her international fans :). It means a lot, and she still stays in contact with TA :yes.
|
to be honest, put yourself in the TA members' shoes. if you are the one who paid 6000yen a year for her TA site-updates/pics.... but others can see her updates for free. not to mention that ayu can reply to you. in TA, you can only send her a msg, but she cannot reply.
would you feel fair? TA fans might not just be feeling bad about international fans. let's not forget that there are other japanese who are non TA members too, i feel that TA members are feeling bad that EVERYONE has a chance to get a reply from ayu, and faster updates. she tweets more then writing a new entry in TA. seriously, stop bashing the poor TA members, ayu treasure them too, and if more uproar is cause, ayu might stop tweeting. have anyone thought what could happen if things got out of hand???? international fans are important, but without her japan fans, ayu won't get where she is now, Without the support of them in her debut years, do you think ayu will be this sucessful? Without popularity, she will have lesser chances, be it in the news/live performance/concerts/endorsement....and tie in promotion. Ask yourself again, how did you get to know about ayu? mst of us know about ayu through the internet, news article, endorsement or tie in promotion(like Inuyasha) how do you think she gain chances to these? Because of her popularity in japan! Japan is a huge industry and the japanese fans are important to her, whether you are happy or not. Without them, you might not even know ayu. Therefore i don't see any reason why she should forget her roots and make her TA fans mad. Oh, japanese who are thinking of joining TA might now think twice, and current TA member might not renew their membership, as they can save the money since there's twitter. In the end, avex and ayu will earn lesser money and avex might ask ayu to stop tweeting. so who will suffer in the end????? Then slowly, in other to please both sides, ayu will spend more time on the internet-tweeting and updating her TA blog(so no one feel left out) hello!!!!!!! ayu needs her rest and sleep! she's already sleeping at 5 am since she started her twitter! i'm worried for her health!!!! I want a healthy ayu, thank you very much. so stop whining people. don't just think of the present, think of the future and the consequences. (^_^) ayu start her twitter acount to communicate with us, so just be happy about it and TREASURE it |
well said,lacus.i agree with you
|
hahha. Ayu is a fair person
|
No... there's still no reason about being that selfish. WE are not talking about leaking info.. that is another issue that doesn't concern what Ayu does.
She's updating TA like she used too, and maybe because of all this complaining from TA she is writting MORE and with MORE pics... That's acting liek a child: "Oh, no, this is mine, not yours! is all for me~!!!" and then Ayu goes and gives even more to that childs so they don't cry... With this twitter thing I don't think she made TA go mad! They went mad by themself for no accepting ayu doing things for others!! How can they compare 5 sentences a day saying "I'm going to sleep", "I'm going to osaka by car", "I'm eating ramen", and a bunch of answers of 5 words or less each to the LOOONG LOOONG messages with meaning and a lot of content in TA??? Yes, in TA no one got answers, but they can also get answers in twitter.. Oh! it's one thing no one has to pay for! it's only that! What I can't believe is how they complained (and I don't wanna imagine what they said to Ayu!!) having SO much!! Yes, we also asked ayu to do sth for us... we asked in AWiO book for an international TA, and we got twitter... it's perfect! but don't compare twitter with some answers with TA web, blog, tickets, her tours in japan, all teh media exposure and all the facilities they have... It's the FIRST time Ayu does sth for us, the international fans, and they have to complain... it's sad... And yes... AYu is who she is because her fame in Japan, but it doesn't give them the right to ask ayu to be only for them and don't want us to have anything with her... it's just my opinion and I'm not bashing every japanese fan, nor everyone in TA, just those who send her those comments... |
I kinda agree on aura~ on some points... it's like, God knows what they have been sending Ayu for her to write a post like this... I mean, why put unnecessary stress on Ayu? She's just opening up a Twitter to connect with us, international fans, and it's not like she's abandoning TA or anything like that...
A good intention is just backfired by such odd complaints.. |
I think a lot of Japanese fans were also complaining about her writing in English and they felt like she was saying that everyone had to talk to her in English, which she was like, "No! You don't have to do that!" It's a way for her to expand her fanbase to non-Japanese fans, and I think her Japanese fans/TA members need to not be so selfish. I mean, if I could join TA, I totally would, but I don't live in Japan, so yeah. Seeing Ayu say little things and post pictures of what she's eating is fun for me, because I don't have access to TA like Japanese fans do. She's giving us other fans a little something that we wouldn't otherwise have. I can understand why the TA members don't want her to use Twitter over her TA Diary, hence why she won't post pics of herself on Twitter. I wouldn't want her to do that either.
|
^ and then that's when the REALLY creepy problem comes... Ayu is.. human? I mean she has her right to post her own photos wherever she wants. Yeah I understand TA pays money and whatever for their membership but international fans have waited for 12 years before such a miracle happens... what's more it's JUST photos, it's not like she's suddenly giving us zomg rights/premiums like a chance to win her AT tickets >_>"
Also, the way the situation is coming up as, it looks like the TA members are saying, "We bought Ayu. she's ours. she can only post her photos/thoughts/words on TA because we bought her" it's almost like treating Ayu as a product, and not a human? It's not even about international fans getting the shorter end of the stick, it's about how the TA members are treating her... almost like a product they bought off the shelf |
