Ok guys, I just wanna know how crazy you are over Ms Hamasaki. Perhaps this thread might had started by someone else, but I'm just curious of how crazy your maniac can do...

Wow XD I don't have anything by her on my computer other than her songs :)

no more maniac than travel more than 20.000 kms to see her in concert. spend 38 hours of travel and more than 800.000 yens in a 22 days vacation in Japan, include a crazy ayumi cddvd and merchandise compulsive shopping

two travel needed: From Chile to France, and to Japan.

total kms in plane: near 40.000, go and return. 283.000 yens in air tickets.

and cry in the concert with surreal evolution surreal.

Im not that crazy, im saving all magazines/other pics in subjected folders, HQ pv's, some lives,~ And good graphic with Ayu :)

*I almost forgot about my myspace: every single layout I have ever done for myspace has had ayu.. and I've made lots of those ;]
*I also use ayu as my cell wall and 1LOVE cell ringtone.
*I've tried to make a fansite (though I stopped before ever finishing it..)
*I follow her Twitter (I never even use it xP) and added her myspace and YouTube subscription.
That's about all I rmbr.

Because this computer is my family's, so the desktop and cursor, I couldn't change it to Ayu's as my family will get irritated. So, I keep all Ayu's in my folder. But if I have my own computer, I would make my desktop and cursor to be Ayu!!!

In my folder, I keep all Ayu's songs and some pics that I've edited. I save Ayu's pic in Photobucket. I separate Ayu's pics from others.

My phone ringtone is Microphone. My caller ringtone (it is something that you would hear if you calling me) is EnergizE. My phone wallpaper is Ayu. I changed my nickname as asmAyumi. I used asmAyumi in every single username.

I added Ayu's twitter, myspace and youtube. In my myspace page, almost everything is Ayu. 80% of my songs in my mp3 player is Ayu's songs. So do in my phone. I keep so many GIF of Ayu.

Sometimes, I make own tattoo using pen on my skin (I don't like permanent tattoo). I drew Ayu's logo on school wall. There's so plenty of them on that wall :P The school had to paint it back because there's so many "art work" on that wall :D

I must listen to Ayu's songs at least one in a day. If not, I don't think I could survive :P

Lastly,I joined AHS :D

Uh...well I would have something to show but I had backed up all of my Ayu stuff to my external harddrive and low and behold it corrupted. Lost everything. So not only did I lose all of Ayumi Hamasaki folders of music, movies, concerts, and photos, I lost all of my music of everyone I ever listened to, all of my movies, concerts, and photos of other artists as well. Not to mention personal stuff.

So, I am slowly rebuilding my Ayumi Hamasaki collection and I figured now is a good time to start buying her CDs instead of just downloading them all. (I still download them but I buy them too)

If I ever get a bunch of stuff back then I will be happy to show everyone ^_^

Uh, I just have ayu as my wallpaper, her songs, some of her merchandise, some of her CDs, and yeah :).

It's such a GORGEOUS wallpaper!!! I LOVE it sooooo much! I think, I'm using it since one month and I still don't feel like changing it!!
It's beautiful and I love the colouring most of all! :heart

Well, my parents had to buy me an external hard disc for all my ayu stuff because the load was SERIOUSLY lagging the computer at that time :laugh

Well, my Ayu-maniac days have just begun.

I'm still building my wallpapers/screensavers/picture collection (if anyone could provide a link to download that "A" cursor, it'd be most appreciated :D ). I don't have her as my destop background right now, but she probably will be next.

I haven't been making graphics that often I hope to make another Ayu one soon (the one in my sig, is one of the simple few I made)... it's kinda hard to do since her pictures are already so amazing and I don't want to tamper with them :laugh

I've made plenty of gifs and animations from her videos though. :P



I've only done one drawing of Ayu (not from lack of trying, it's just the only one that's turned out right lol).

I really wanna do a really Arena Tour 2010 inspired pic because the costumes are just amazing. <333


And of course now that I have a (somewhat) steady course of income, I'm starting to collect her albums, some singles, and other stuff like posters, ayupan, tour merch, etc. so I can properly show my support for her. :yes

So I've got a looong ways too go before I'm on all of you guys' levels of Ayumania. :D But I hope to get there one day.

Welllllll... I'm not as crazy as all y'all but the maniac did visit me ;)

She went to my computer, changed my wallie, user pic, & button thingies (the stuff you click on at the desktop) to Ayu...

Then she snuck to my iTunes and spent quite a while changing every single song title to its proper capitalization...

Then she bought every single song available on iTunes (over time, of course) except for remixes and synced them all to my iPod!

Then she went back and downloaded all the songs not available on iTunes. Someone stop this maniac!

As if she hadn't had enough already, she went and downloaded every single PV from YouTube to her computer, and she spent 3 hours downloading her favorite concert performances not available on iTunes... This resulted in taking up half of my iPod's space (which is 32GB) and over 100GB of my computer's space :thud

Oh, but this maniac isn't done yet. Next she hit my wallet, making me go on a shopping spree, buying 5 magazines ($11.99 each), 2 CDs ($50 each), and a NEXT LEVEL tour towel ($20). (@_@) That cleaned me out of cash :laugh

No, she STILL isn't done... Then she posessed me to spend countless hours drawing Ayu, Tweeting her with no luck, searching for new pictures, and listening to her music while on a marathon :yes

Then she made me write a report on her, draw little chibis to tape all over my binders, make 7 Ayumi plush toys...

Then, as if to give me the final maniacal laugh, she wrote 「浜崎あゆみ」 on the line to put my name on the HW that I was about to turn in.

Now I am left with the aftermath of this maniac's rampage...

*gasp*

Hehehe I've spent a couple of afternoons doing these things too. :D Sad part is that for the videos I had to eventually go back online and find DVD-rips because the quality of the YT videos weren't good enough to make decent animations. :no

I used to have like...80GB of music, pictures, and videos on my old computer, but then the motherdrive crashed and I lost everything. Now I'm left with my laptop that frequently breaks down, so I can't do that. I've just got all her albums and a few pictures that I find particularly nice. :)

I've also got 6 albums, 3 singles, 2 posters, 1 deck of cards, 4 magazines (lost one), and one lost Ayupan. LOL.

I did that "A" logo cursor myself. I just resized the cursor and draw a pointed arrow on the picture. You can also make your own cursor, especially to people like you, who loves to draw on computer. http://www.rw-designer.com/cursor-maker

Well, I wouldn't considered myself a manic, yet....

I mean, besides collecting all of her studio albums (except NFN and the remixes), 1 lonely single (for now), 4 concert DVDs, 3 posters, 4GB and counting of her music in my iTunes folders, 2GB of videos of her performances, about 1GB pics and wallpapers, and I've created a Twitter account just so I can followed her (and oh, alan too) :P

I only been a fan of hers for only 2 years...

So see, I'm not a maniac....:innocent

i used to be rather crazy. Now, even though I spend more money on her (because her extra special unneeded limited first press versions force me to) it feels way different.

I used to be all about Ayu, haha. I downloaded every performance possible, magazine scans, music videos, etc. I suppose now that I have a laptop instead of a desktop computer, my priorities have changed haha. (Or I've just falled out of that phase :))

I do miss the years when I was crazy for everything she put out though. :P


Being a new fan was so much fun. Because you're able to go and instantly download old things and get "new" performances and such. Now that I've seen everything, I can only wait for new stuff haha.

A few characteristics describe my mania (some have been mentioned by others, some not):

I have a rule: An Ayu song a day keeps the sanity away!
All my electronics are Ayu-decorated
I have posters hanging at all my residences
I have several playlists on Itunes dedicated to her
I've written many of her lyrics on dud blank CDs and they're stuck to my walls. It's a cool effect, actually.
I have all her songs except a few remixes, including PVs and most making-ofs
I have most songs memorized
I have hundreds of Ayu picture folders and photoshop creations
I'm saving up my money to go to Japan solely to see a concert!

Hmm...well I feel like I'm pretty crazy about Ayu. She's the only Japanese/foreign artist that I even bother to purchase music from, and I've already paid hundreds of dollars altogether for her stuff. I listen to other J-artists, but I don't try to buy their stuff because I think it's a waste of money.

I have her entire discography in my iPod, and she's the most played artist on there as well.

I wrote my college application essay on her, and how her lyrics have greatly influenced my life.

I improved my vocals by a tenfold when I started singing her songs. They were great vocal trainers :yes. For a time, Ayu even made me want to become a singer.

I tried so hard to get my mom, sister, and best friend (AyUta who is now a big fan) into Ayu's music. I wanted to spread the love :heart. My mom and sister didn't mind her, but they didn't like go bonkers for her music.

And when I get my own laptop in a couple of weeks, I'm gonna decorate my background with Ayu's purty face :luv2.

Overall, Ayu has greatly impacted my life. I'll never forget all that I have experienced and learned from listening to her music. I feel that I am an Ayu maniac mainly because I have allowed such a distant and completely alien person (we're on two different sides of the world) to strike me so powerfully.

Yes, Ms Hamasaki is definitely a very influential singer in sorts of way. :)
I guess that is what everybody likes about her that made us go into the extent of being a maniac :D

I used to have pretty much every performance, picture, PV on my computer, but I narrowed it down quite a bit.
I do have all of her music, including remix albums, on my computer.
I own just about every original studio album except LOVEppears and R'n'RC.
I have tons of posters, a few of which are in frames.
My desktop is always an Ayu wallpaper.
I have a Ayu graphics workshop here on AHS, although I do take other requests. :)
My sets are always of Ayu...I think I've only had a non-Ayu graphic twice in my time here on AHS.
I have the little gold A symbol charm from the 10th Anniversary coin purse on my iPod case, and I am planning on doing deco of an A symbol on it also...and I'm really considering getting an A symbol tattoo on my shoulder/back.
I've been a fan of Ayu since 2000...and my love for her continues to grow. ^^

My external hard driver (1TB) is devoted to Ayu mainly.
I want to buy all stuff that are related with Ayu. If there are several versions I buy all version.
When I'll work I'll insure all my collection, I'll go to japan to see all of her concert & I'll become a TA member.
I always have at least an Ayu set.
My wallpaper is always an Ayu one.
I listen to her music before an exam.
If I didn't listen to at least one of her song during 24H I become crazy.
I tried to get the Ayu virus to other people I know.
I love false nails because of her.
when I want a new haircut, I always take an Ayu haircut.
When I lose hope I watch one of her concert or makin of & my heart say good luck, work hard like Ayu.
I can recognize 95% of her songs when only some notes are played.
