What Japanese Artists have you seen live/Would like to see live?
 

Hey! So, what Japanese artists have you seen live? And also, who would you LIKE to see live :D?

I haven't seen any Japanese artistes live in performance yet , shiku shiku ;__;

artistes that I want to catch them perform once in my life includes

- BREAKERZ (well duh 8D)
- DAIGO STARDUST (if it's going to happen ... DAIGO can wear his blue eyeshadow makeup again for me , I don't mind LMFAO 8D & that goes for the blue coloured contacts too :P)
- NEVER LAND (if AKIHIDE were to reform his old group again ;__; )
- Matsushita Yuya
- ayumi hamasaki

- Acid Black Cherry (that might be interesting & I can see AKIHIDE again onstage hehe)

ah! YUI is another one i'd love to see. I almost saw Dir en Grey, but got snowed into my house and couldnt see them, along with HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR, they were at Anime Central in 2008, and one of my guy friends asked "Hey, do you want my ticket?" and i declined. I'm kicking myself now.

Also, Miyavi is going to be performing in Chicago by me tomorrow night but I'm not going...i like his old stuff :(

I've seen MISIA's asia tour in singapore 2008, it was such one of the greatest moment in my life. Other than that, I was in Jolin Tsai autograph session in 2005, but I dont really like her now

Amei because my brother is a big fan, so he dragged me and my mom to the Las Vegas show~

Namie because I love her! I saw that she was coming to Taiwan, so I told my dad and he said that he'll buy tickets for me....but then I realized that the tickets were about to start selling online in like a hour :laugh But good thing he came online soon, so he brought them for me ♥

I would love to see Ayu live~ The energy must be amazing!
And alan ♥♥♥ If I can get goosebumps just from watching the DVD.....I don't know what a live concert would do to me :laugh

I've only seen Ayu (twice though lol) and Zwei. Technically I saw the people Zwei performed with too, but I only remember a band called filter fish. They were awesome XD

I haven't seen any live, but Ayu is the only one that I would spend like 4k on for my trip to Japan to see her live, I don't think anyone else I'm a fan of from Japan would be worth that much money. I really need to see her live.

I haven't seen anyone live, but the one person I MUST see is Chihiro Onitsuka. Like, I don't care for anyone else, I just HAVE to see her live someday <3

i've only seen Jin Akanishi of KAT-TUN's solo live at the CLUB NOKIA in Los Angeles. last Saturday, actually. tons of fun! :D

I've only seen Gackt. The final at Saitama Super Arena of his VISUALIVE tour. It was great, but now I don't have to see him again. The love has died somewhat XD

I've been fortunate enough to see Ayu's last 3 tours, and have also seen:

Perfume - Disco!Dicso!Disco! last year. That was a lot of fun :)

Kumi Koda - Universe tour this year. My favourite concert :)

Utada - in London in February. It was a much different atmosphere than a concert in Japan. Really enjoyed it though.


I'd still like to see Namie at some point, and attend a CDL. YUI would be good too.

I think it will be interesting if I were to attend a Saito Kazuyoshi concert

I heard that his MCs are notoriously X/R-rated with him talking nothing about porny stuff xD :laugh

it's quite surprising considering that he dished out such amazing & great material

I wonder how his wife feels about it xD

I've only seen Jolin Tsai when she came to my city for her tour. :)

Other than that, no one else. Of course I want to see ayu and alan, AZU and namie. Kumi would be awesome too <3

Oh yeah i also saw YOSHIKI in person. Not a concert, but a Q&A session at Anime Central's masquerade. That was pretty cool. He's gonna be at Lollapalooza too

I'm (hopefully) going back to Japan within the next 2 years and I've made seeing Ayu my number one priority. It has to happen!

I was thinking of ayumi hamasaki, but really, i don't think I'd be that thrilled to see her live. all her concerts seem the same and don't really have flow to them. ballads where she extends her hands to some backup dancers performing ballet, really cutesy pink flowery songs that are oh so happy, really sexy and strong songs where she's dancing with a pole or a chair, an outfit change every other song, and the encore where she really just sings with the band. I can see myself now covering my ears when she plays trauma/evolution/boys&girls/audience/unite/surreal. Love her music, but entertainment wise, she's not for me.

my friend wants to try and drag me to this sm concert, but idk if i want to go. it's all the way on the other side of the country, and we would need to spend all this money on the tickets and plane tickets, and ugh. I just don't have the money, and she wants to buy everything for me and that makes me feel worse. she's into all the generic boy band kpop crap like super junior, SHINee, beast, u-kiss, big bang, 2ne1, etc. I admit I like big bang, but they aren't even going to be there, so I don't see the point in dragging me along. D<

^You probably shouldn't talk about Kpop like that....not that I mind (and I agree with points A, B, and C). I tried that already and got flamed like no other :trolleyes. Well you should go just for going lol....even if you don't like the music that much you'd probably enjoy the atmosphere and its the Staples Center.
