Orchestra Album?
 

Just thinking... Ayu hasn't released any sort of "orchestra" albums since My Story Classical, and before that we had the one for Ayu-mi-x 4 which was around her I am... era. I think we need to have another one. She has released a remix album (ayumix 6) in the past, so we know she's not done with the remix albums, but whatever happened to the Orchestra part? every ayu-mi-x album always came with an orchestra side up till ayu-mi-x 5. Then she just stopped them.

I realized that although she's not releasing any more orchestra albums, she does still release orchestra versions. She has a bunch of them on her singles. Below I made a collection of all the ones from her singles (post I am...) That I think she could turn into a compilation orchestra album. I might be missing one or two but I think I got most of them.

I love the acoustic version of endless sorrow. She could definitely do things more like that rather than computer created instruments.

I was just talking with my friend about this. I really wish she'd do another orchestra album. If she does soon though, I hope it's not a compilation of the ones from her past singles. I want new ones~ I'd love an official mix for JEWEL because that live version was amazing. *O*

I really would like some of the ones i listed to be on the next orchestra album. i think she won't have any more considering we didn't start getting orchestra versions on singles till her last orchestra album was released (ayumix 4). I think the fact that we now get them on singles indicates she won't be making any more. (with the rare exception of my story classical)

I love orchestra albums more than anything. Classical is such a gem. And orchestra+ayu is priceless

Like. I think that would be fine. A compilation but I would wish for a few more to be added on.

I think there should be a Acoustic Orchestra remix contest, instead of the normal remix contest we have here at AHS all the time, atleast try it~

well the winner of this year's remix contest was an orchestra version of rule. so maybe that counts? But I think it would be cool to have an orchestra remix contest, although it seems hard, especially creating instruments from scratch.

Yeah, I love her orchestra albums! I just bought MY STORY Classical on iTunes and have been blasting it in my car for the last few days :) I would be so excited if she did another one.

just found this today. It's really pretty. I think if they added a bit more soul/oomph/orchestra to it (in a studio version of course), I'd be absolutely beautiful. She should definitely put this onto an album.
vocal wise, it's definitely one of her best performances of forgiveness.

I would love another classical type of album.
I hope she releases one with new remixes.

Oh yea, I came across that, it was really good, but I think one there are people that are really gifted and can do it, it makes it all worthwhile cause there so beautiful

Yes. Defnitely. I love her orchestra versions, MY STORY classical is such a brilliant album. I do wish she would do more.

"pop/rock songs" turn into "BALLAD style"

What I want to see is an album of all her rock songs turned into ballad form. because of you, rule, memorial address, talkin 2 myself, guilty, criminal, microphone, etc.

I don't think she's done forever with her orchestra albums. I think she's just waiting. Not sure for what but I do think she is waiting. It has been a little while since she's released any sort of remix album but she is busy with her new singles and before that RnRC. PLus she's doing all these concerts and she's traveling and stuff so a remix album probably isn't her top priority right now.

We may have to wait a little long but I think she'll release another one eventually.

I think it would be lovely to have another "orchestra" album from Ayu. I love hearing the ballad/acoustic versions of her songs and I absolutely love MY STORY ~Classical~ as well so I'm really hoping for this.

Ayu doesn't like remixes that's why she's pretty much stopped having them.

I listen a lot of classical music, and most of her classical remixes are gorgeous, so a classical album would be amazing. Maybe because she's a pop artist she does not have a huge bunch of these, but still, i think she really enjoys these kind of melodies... I know it might not happen, but definitely a classical album released would be super awesome :luv2 (oh, and i agree, Tasking should ask if this possible)to me, this would be a dream come true :yes

^I figured she didn't like remixes. I don't think I'd like ayu half as much if it wasn't for her remixes though. And In the earlier part of her life, she was really controlling over her career yet she released like, 3 remix albums for every single studio album she released, even though she doesn't like them. I wonder why. I know she does it cause it was "the thing" to do back then, but still...

that was so long ago, 10 yrs ago, she might feel different, I dont even see why she wouldn't like it, its just remixes

I always wonder why they put one and the same version wherever it's possible. it appeared already on ayu-mi-x III and ayu-mi-x IV.


I wouldn't mind it at all, I LOVE orchestra and acoustic versions of songs. I'd want versions which hasn't been released earlier of course. Microphone would be epic.

as much as i love ayu's orchestra songs i realized that it won't going to happen now bcos her orchestra album didn't sold that well compared to the remix one.

I don't know if it wouldn't do well; My Story Classical charted at #4 on Oricon, after all. I think a similar project would have similar success.

I would LOVE to have a new "Classical" album. MSC is the first full Ayu album I bought, and it's what pushed the snowball down the hill, if you will. My dream list?

That's all if she were to do another LIVE symphonic album. Truthfully, first we'd probably get a bind-up of all the Orchestra Versions since MSC. I'd still get it.

oh and don't forget the performance of HEAVEN on Music Station too! like JEWEL it was the Piano Version accompanied by strings. if they make a studio version of that it can definitely replace the Piano Version :)

I would love it if the orchestra album will include a few tracks from live performances! like those good performance from HEY!HEY!HEY! or music station or wherever.. I always find those lives were good and it is always goood to listen to Ayu live, it's very emotional and I like that. =]

She's in good condition to re-sing Haru Yo Koi with the orchestra set, too. I am not biased because it's her, but the one we have from Ayu is my absolute favorite version of that song; also her most impressive vocal "flex," if you will. I love it, even though the quality of all rips is kinda questionable.

Also, who wants Hanabi Episode II on there? :laugh I can't believe I forgot to mention I craved it.

She has enough Orchestra versions to make an album. Add Momentum and Sexy little things and it be awesome.

I'd kill small puppies and children in front of their mothers to have another orchestra album, but in the vein of epicness that was MSC. Just think back to PCDL's "Heartplace" performance: the strings and the growing tension and emotion just building and building -- absolutely gorgeous, IMO. Granted it still had the rock instruments in it, but I feel the strings were a bit louder or more prevalent in that live version.

I once thought that if she were to do another classical album, it'd probably be with R'n'RC songs, but since we're falling into the tail end of the year and we've had orchestral releases for some R'n'RC songs, and no accompanying classical album, I guess that's not exactly likely xD;

YES! I've seen this being brought up a few times, and I so want her to do a new orchestra/classic album. Just as magnificent as MY STORY. Imo that album was perfect for that.

I think if she made GUILTY into an orchestra album, it would make more people discover that album's true beauty. Heck, she should make orchestra albums of all of her albums...

Yeah, I'm quite interested for "Jewel" in orchestra version in some kind of a release, thank you. The only time we did those was three times on television...

^ Preeeeeeach. GUILTY is one of my favorite Ayu albums and it saddens me that people don't like it so much, so I think an orchestra album would help people see just how gorgeous that album can be/is. Of course people have their own opinions, and it's actually quite refreshing to hear what they think about things I love, but at the same time I can't help but be a little confused and amazed at the differences in taste XD

@InoriNoUta Ikr?! I'm so happy that December 2006 was the time when I got "back on track" and rediscovered Ayumi. I think that may have added to my love for GUILTY, since it came out shortly after that. That being said: IT IS an AMAZING ALBUM. No matter what. And I actually love the title track, it's one of my favorites on that album. I hope I'm not the only one sharing that love for it :thud

And wow, JEWEL would be epic as a classical ver. It's made for that!

I forgot about heartplace. That would be epic. I think if we just stripped it down to the mad violins and orchestra, it would be as amazing as Game "Classical". One of those songs that is meant to have an orchestra version.

GAME classical ver. was like the biggest surprise to me ever. It was the one song on the classic album that I had my doubts about, and when I heard it, it was my favorite. And it still is.

Kanzaki: YOU AREN'T ALONE! I feel like the title track is one of her best ;_; And I don't understand why people think it's dull or bad. It feels so hollow and cold to me -- like someone who isn't sure of her/his emotions, so they're at a crossroad inside their heart and it's just.. very stark, that song. Like you're on trial.

Yeah really! especially with MY STORY... when i saw GAME on the list i was thinking "well then, why not put About You then? it's impossible!" then i heard it and was mistaken haha

and i second, or whatever number were on, the demend for a Heartplace Orchestra Version! that's what my ears go to towards the end of the song!
