Hamasaki Ayumi live concert 『3D ayumi hamasaki ARENA TOUR 2009 ～NEXT LEVEL～』 to be released in theatres!

Shot with 22 3D cameras, the largest scale full 3D-style cinema experience in Japan has been confirmed!
2009 Arena Tour 「ayumi hamasaki ARENA TOUR 2009 ～NEXT LEVEL～」, travelling through 12 prefectures nationwide, involving 300,000 staff and audience, has been rendered in 3D.
Amazing cinematography, almost live sound, delivering to you the excitement of being at the concert in person!

In cinemas across the nation starting from 28 August 2010 (Sat)!
TOHO cinemas (except for the one in Roppongi), will start airing early from the 27th!

This seems cool.....they should do this next year for RnRC if it goes well. That tour looks much cooler
But I think people would enjoy this at09 was just soooo energetic and fun.

Now we get the idea...they're showing it in VISUAL 3D! Something like Hannah Montana or Avatar - it's going to be quite interesting...

I hope they can release it on Blu-ray 3d in the near future...

I see the 3D craze is hitting Japan. Concert movies are becoming a bit of a trend, and to make it in 3D... totally like the JoBros and Hannah Montana, except this is going to be a million times cooler! I really want to go to Japan from August to October, just to see this and the October concerts, haha.

its FULL 3D.
previously,we thought its Audio 3D because the site said so.now i understand why they write A3D.its not because of AUDIO3D.the 'A' refers to ayu's 'A' logo.

Were you thinking of trying to go when you come out in October for RnRC Final? I gotta think it would be gone by then...:headache

^ Ayu is the first Japanese artist to do this for a concert. I believe the first music artist in the world to do it for a concert was U2, about two or three years ago. As far as I know a few Japanese artists had used 3D in their works but they've never done it for a concert, or for anything on the scale of the NL concerts.

U2 did it a few years ago, so she ain't the first one with that idea/concept. but it's still damn great! the tour DVD was almost 3d with all the effects anyways, it must be pure awesomeness in actual 3D screening
