I started the previous HSJ thread last year in Jan X_X
hard to believe it took almost 1 1/2 years to finish it man LOL but anyway JUMP NO.1 is a really solid debut album . I enjoyed it a lot from the start to the end I wouldn't be getting my copy til early Aug since avex taiwan will only released both editions for the album on 28th July :tired |
I wish they had included in the album official versions of some songs they usually sing in performances.. that was probably the main reason why i really looked forward to having an HSJ album in the first place :(

^ Oh ya, with the exception of those Memories and Jounetsu Jump (which im grateful they put those in), I expected them to have some of my other faves (like Shingitai, Tobira no Mukou, Suriru, Nounai Dance, etc etc)... maybe i can hope for those songs to be included in future albums, its never too late haha
To be honest, with the exception of Shinku and Time, I wasn't really impressed with any of the new tracks. |

SUMMARY this year is crazy. It's definitely a circus as they say. Between the dogs who do tricks, Yamada and Arioka doing tightrope walking, and Chinen on the trapeze, it was a completely crazy show. The JCB Hall is really small so they are really close (and they go into the aisles by the audience) but if you're in the stands the view could be blocked. It really looks bigger in the news clip.
Anyhow, favorite new songs on the album are "Shinku" and "Time." <3 |
Does somebody know which member wrote which song on the new album?

i love "Shinku" :heart it sounds like a Domoto Koichi solo song, but then i figured out it sounds that way because Yamada Ryosuke's his biggest fan. LOL. |

I didn't know that Yamada's the biggest/closet fan of Koichi , now that's something I didn't know til you said so xD but yeah I can see why you said that about Shinku , it sounds as though it's something I can hear in Koichi's mirror album Ah I should be getting my limited edition of JUMP NO.1 next week since 5musicTaiwan shipped it out yesterday I saw the Japan press / regular edition being sold here locally at HMV but at S$48.95 , sorry no thanks X_X , I take my Taiwan press which I'm being charged about S$20+ or so which's inclusive of registered airmail charges too |

Yeah, Avex Taiwan keeps it at a reasonable price - by the way, they hold the rights for most of J Storm's releases in Asia outside of Japan, including ARASHI...

my first one was Nakajima Yuuto....because he's the only one i knew about, ahaha. (from Nobuta wo Produce) he's sort of disappeared though. he was popular before H!S!J, actually. now it's all Yamada (i don't mind tho. :lech)

my first encounter with a HSJ member was actually...yamada, cause i was watching one pound gospel, lol. but back then, i wasn't a HSJ fan so i had nooo idea that was yamada playing kame's little brother. i never knew sister angela was actually meisa kuroki either, LOL. once i followed them, then i knew who the actors of those characters were. the only one i knew of was kame :tipsy i remember seeing yuto in nobuta wo produce, though. he was so small & young! now he's so tall :laugh

if you get into HSJ now , it's only natural that the 1st person that will catch your attention's Yamada sometimes nowadays I feel you might as well renamed the group as Yamada & co. as it feels as though he's forever in the limelight It's not his fault since the whole group's already so big but yeah sometimes I wish the rest were to get more screentime , it doesn't do justice to the rest Quote:

i thought it was pretty weird for Yamada to get the frontman status, seeing as Yuuto, Yabu, & Hikaru were really famous (you know, for Johnny's Juniors) prior to Hey! Say! JUMP's formation. but i think Yamada's talented though, so i don't mind. but i do hope some of the lesser known guys, like INOO, get more attention too. :)
speaking of outfits, i always thought KANJANI8 got hit by the ugly wardrobe stick. like...just watch "Osaka Obachan Rock" LMFAO. |

the average age for HSJ is really young to begin with
you can't expect them to suddenly sing about adult stuff as compared to their seniors in the talent agency , that will be growing up a bit too fast xD anyway I don't find anything cutesy with regards to JUMP NO.1 . I have listened to them for 2 years already & I can sense how much mature/growth they have displayed from Ultra Music Power all the way to Hitomi no Screen let alone Chinen's voice has finally broke lmao . He cannot do what he does now anymore , with regards to reaching those high notes in Dreams come true & Your Seed xD passing such a casual comment only can make me laugh & wave it away as so like seriously |

I recongised that place because of Nathan's Hotdogs xD but yeah PV wise , it's the same thing for Yamapi's Loveless , an excuse to go to New York to flim it ~_~ but I like this PV more cos it's shot in the daytime & you get to see New York a lot more than Loveless ;p song wise , well it's standard Johnny's fare for me |
