WOOT! new thread! Speaking of which, I need to update the discography page I made.
I want a new single in november, actually. Then I'll def have the money to buy it, and the time to appreciate it! this is random, useless and weird but my friends and I randomly have jam sessions these days and we're trying to learn & play their songs. I'm the drummer and the drums beats are literally INSANE in every sfp song! So far we've leart "set low, fine" , "loop, share", "egoist" and goodblue :D |

despite the long wait, it kinda feels like just yesterday that amp-reflection was released, lol. it doesn't feel like such a long time, but in reality, it's really been way too long for new material! i'm happy we got flashback trip syndrome, though, but it just wasn't enough! :laugh so i hope RPG (or whatever the single may be called) will be true! i'm totally listening to amp-reflection again this weekend to get back in the sfp mood. i missed yumi & the band so much! :weep

so i keep playing the preview, and i think i heard yumi say "role playing game". or "role play game", lol. not sure which one, but i thought sfp would have a different meaning to the initials. but i'm sure the lyrics have an awesome meaning. :D the preview is so addicting! i can't stop listening.

sfp got #6 today! :yatta so totally happy for them! i thought a one year hiatus would hurt their sales, but hopefully not! i'm gonna take a listen to the album later, so i'll edit my post with thoughts later! :)
edit: so i've only heard the album once, lol. but i'd say it's great! sfp definately stuck with their style, which i love. so i'm not disappointed! i kinda think "amp-reflection" is a bit more memorable, because of the singles on it and all. but i think both albums are different & they're great in their own ways. :yes i gotta listen to "Prog-Roid" a bit more, but for now i still think it's an awesome album! probably a bit more experimental than usual, too. i can hear a difference in their music now compared to 2010, for sure. my favorite tracks are "free quiet" (so "puiet" was a typo? :roflmao), "Ura Omote", 'Halation", "Hikari", "Y/N", and "Utsurou, Sangastu". :D |

It’s just been revealed that School Food Punishment will be singing the opening theme song for the upcoming anime, “UN-GO“! The song is titled “How to go“, and it will air alongside the show on October 13th, which is when the series will broadcast its first episode. The anime is based on Ango Sakaguchi’s novel “Meiji Kaika Ango Torimonochou” and is said to be a daringly arranged story set in the near future, in which a detective and his partner discover the truth behind mysterious events.
