T.T ah well~ at least my MELL-bear (I'm such a creeper fan) is finally releasing a new album. One piece of good news

the title "Show Me Love" is the title of Utada's "supposed" new song. It was on EMI's website til it was taken down a bit later. So we are unsure. It's like "Apples & Cinnamon". Months before TITO was released, or we even had a track list; on some music website, it was listed that there was this song called "Apples & Cinnamon" produced and composed by Utada and Tricky. Shortly after it was posted, it was taken down, and look what we ended up with months later. An actual song called "Apples & Cinnamon" on Utada's TITO album. So this new song that appeared and disappeared on EMI's website called "Show Me Love" credited to Utada really has my hopes up.

Ik already about the info for show me love (which had me happy back when it was first mentioned) but thanks anyway

I still can't wait for Show Me Love. It'll prolly be another month or two before we hear anything about it though. I have JASMINE tho to fill that void until then.

Right now I'm perfectly content with Jolin Tsai and her new album coming out. That'll tie me over for a LONG time for sure.

Oh and I've been completely addicted to the Utada United live version of Kremlin Dusk ~ YMMWTBAM, it's so amazing!! gives me chills.

The live of Kremlin Dusk is one of my favs of her. Its such an amazing song. That live can only give chills. That and the cello version of be my lasyt is always my fav version. Even just one instrument can by itself portray all the emotion u need in a song. For that, I love musicians. If I weren't so lazy I would take up a string.

Boku wa kuma, one night magic, kremlin dusk (although as the years pass, i start to like it more and more), and all of First Love except for amai wana, first love, and automatic.

WHAT??? Kremlin Dusk is my FAVORITE song EVER. (well.. it's defo in my top 10!!)

I don't like One Night Magic, though. I also actually don't really like traveling >__> I acknowledge it's epic status and I love the PV, but I never listen to the song. I don't dislike it either, though.

A song I REALLY dislike has to be Automatic Part II. Never enjoyed it.

Automatic part 2 easily (no hikki just NO! Ur not missy elliot! She was just failing unfortunately)

Dirty Desire and Tippy Toe (I just can't sit through them. Awkward and not amazing at all. Kinda cheesy)

Most of first love tbh except Movin on Without You, Automatic, Time Will Tell, Amai wana...and yeah basically. And a couple songs from distance (ballads)
And Boku wa Kuma

Seriously so much hate for One Night Magic? Its so beautiful and magical and dreamy

I will state though that I can list all the songs I don't like by hikki, but there are no utada songs that I hate. I say I dislike one night magic, and kremlin dusk, and boku wa kuma, and yadda yadda, but I can easily sit through them. They just happen to not be my most listenable.

Just proves how much I love here. There are no songs I hate by her and I can easily sit through and sing along to all of my least favorite by her. :D Although bwk is my most least favorite song by her, I am glad that she made it. A children's song. It was a one time deal, and it proves how versatile she is. It's just another song we can add to her collection and say "Wow. Look what she did in the past."

Hell...I'll sing to it now. Boku wa kumaa~ kuma~ kuma~ kumaaaaaaaaa~

^^ikr. There's no hikki song I hate. So that's why I just consider her my fa along with ayu. Even if there's a lot more songs from her I have issues listening to.
Its more like I used to love r&b but now most of it sounds dull and generic so it was the same realization for hikki music
Its not like I could expect mariah carey out of her r&b though *sigh*

Though Automatic part 2. It just makes me feel like a hypocrite willingly listening to that. Which makes me a pathetic person.

Hikki has so many fantastic songs in her career. Even if I don't listen to her anymore like now. I at least know that these genius songs and albums existed. And her lyrics. :heart

I doubt Utada is still going to retire at 28. That was from an interview 6 years ago where she was struggling to make music. During the HEART STATION era she said she was planning on performing for another 10 years if I recall correctly.

:wave Yeah, the American Tour talk really bored me and I had nothing to add, but it has stopped now.

As time went on we thought the supposedly recorded material was going to be a new theme for Evangelion. What a dud that turned out to be. That's when all hope began sinking and I made some fake announcement of some song in which I can't recall the name of now.

And yeah, I love the live version of "You Make Me Want To Be A Man" so much more than the studio version and I don't believe I even started liking "Kremlin Dusk" until I saw that live performance of it.

Figured I'd wait for some news, but it never came, and I got bored.

I've been suspicious as to whether Utada is putting off releasing music because she doesn't want to release a Single in these low selling times and have it really bomb. In that way, it's kind of a blessing and a curse, but I don't see physical purchases ever going back up in the world so she's going to have to deal with it sooner or later if that is indeed the case.

^I knew that was fake the moment I saw it, but I really like the cover. I don't like how it says "live at irving plaza" though. I really hope that if we get a dvd for it, it'll be a compilation of all her performances. Especially since she only had 9 stops so it shouldn't be that hard to do. I don't even know if I'd want to own the dvd. Going there and seeing her live was enough for me. I might buy it though just to see me on a dvd. :D

And to answer questions, no Corikaru is not the creator of the Show Me Love rumor since it was on some website and I saw it myself. (so unless he hacked an entire website.. nah)

I forgot which website it was.. that's stupid though, since I used to check it every day to see if Show Me Love had returned to the list >__> can someone refreshen my memory?


Dunno about the other shows, but during the final in London they had quite some camera's for such a small venue, and they were filming throughout the entire concert, and they filmed the fans during the wait between the main setlist and the encore and stuff.. I'm pretty sure we'll get a DVD. eventually.

I think when it was stated that Hikki had the vision for her next album put together, and was ready to get to work on it, her "vision" was more something like this:

Week 1: "I think I should start working on new material."
Week 2: "Perhaps a new album."
Week 3: "For my fans."
Week 4: "Kuma, you so cute!"
Week 5: *writes in blog*
Week 6: *posts photo in blog*
Week 7: Repeat weeks 1-6

Cameras mean nothing. There are always cameras, whether it's for documentary, or commercial purposes. Just because there were cameras doesn't mean they will put it on dvd. Of course it was recorded. there was also a few cameras at the NYC one too.

This right here tells me that just because there were cameras recording stuff, doesn't mean it will be put on dvd. All concerts (whether private or public) have cameras, to document the performance.

They weren't just recording the performance, they were filming the queue outside, and during the concert also filming the crowd at times. It really was filmed in a way to be put on dvd!

I'm sorry I have to go against you but I just want a DVD and I won't have my hopes shattered just because of that stupid showcase that was never put on DVD :laugh

The reason why the EXODUS showcase was never released on DVD was because Utada said there wasn't enough footage of the band.

I don't see it happening (a DVD of the tour), but it would be nice.

It hasn't really been that long since the tour ended. I'm still optimistic that a release will happen (hopefully the final London show, so I can see myself :P) Find it hard to believe they'd record so much footage for no financial gain.

The Japanese public would eat this up, right? She hasn't toured there in forever, and a western tour of someone of her caliber doesn't happen very often. Easy money.
