Ah, thank you! Looks great as always!
|
Nice. Like I said in the other thread before I realized there was this one, I hope the ballads are good. :) If there are going to be two.
|
The first post is awesome! *___*
|
So excited about the new single!!! I want Suki de, Suki de, Suki de to be a R&B ballad, and Anata Dake ga a "Moon Crying"· style ballad.Hope we get some previews soon!!!
|
just reposting the news ^^
Spoiler:
Double A-Side Single 「Suki de, Suki de, Suki de. / Anata Dake Ga」 (Love, Love, Love / Only You) new version for walk and a PV for it "Apparently 好きで、好きで、好きで is about pure, devoted love. And あなただけが is about when you can't see your partner and get forget about him. (the 'can't see' part can also mean 'argue with'.)" Credits: tenshi no hane hope the PVs will be conncected :luv2 |
cant wait ;D
|
so maybe the rumor of 3 consecutive singles isn't likely.
|
Happy about this. Kumi always gets the best ballads.
Her voice is a lot stronger since she recorded the original walk. The remake should be pretty epic. |

Oops, I am such an idiot, there is a new thread already and I didn't notice. The first post is great, love the writing and the picture on top:yes
So, this is what I wrote in the last thread (accidently): OMG, I am so excited for this!! I really really want this single! I am very into "walk" lately, so yeah for PV and re-record. Hopefully it'll have pretty covers:heart |
Love the first post and really excited to hear the walk remake!
|
Woah she's a Sukima Switch fan!? It's be cool if they were on Music Fair at the same time one day so they could do a duet as typical there.
*___* |
I can“t wait for the new single!! And a remake of walk?! That would be amazing!!
|

Nice thread :D
|
I don't like a lot of her ballads, but i hope something amazing !!!
And wwoww, 3 new pvs!!!!! "AND I'M 100% SURE WE DON'T GET AN A KUUPLETE BOX! First she has too many A-Sides already she needs to have like 4 CDS and they need some extra stuff like DVD, so i doubt avex release that much! Ayu's A COMPLETE looks inside really cheap when u look at the cd cases inside!" KUUPLETE BOX, isn't a bad idea, i like it |
whoa!! Finally new single!!
I'd love new ballad from her.. (pls, something like hands, no way, you, or unmei) and yay for Walk!! I think the new arrangement will be just like in UNIVERSE Tour one! ♥ Cover preaseeee!! Quote:
anyway, for a-nation'10 goodies, i'm probably going to give up on kuu's.. i just saw ayu's one.. i'm so in love with the ribbon strap ♥ and i don't have too much money to spend on other goodies :scry |

That demo was awesomely terrible! :laugh
"When.I.look.back.over.my.shoulder.yeah.you.know.w hat.I.sayyy? That was a close callll! Woooo!" |
Quote:
those are her best ballads by far (instead of walk, but we will get a new version with pv!! so I'm glad :D) |
omg~~~ pv for walk!!! that's great!!! really looking forward to this new single <333
|
OMG walk!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that news just makes this single a win already. Always loved the original and its still in my mp3..cant believe its been since the FIRST album gosh
|

|
Excited to hear the new version of walk!! :D
|
so i wake up this morning and saw the email from koda gumi, i was like 'yaya!!! new single!!! and hmm....walk new version? with pv??????? OMG~~~~~~~'
|
Quote:
I have a strong feeling that both A-sides will be ballads ;p but argh omg new verison of walk ?! *______* this totally made my day <3 |
thanks for the demo
IT's horrible, obviously koda is better |
*bad Kumi fan*
Which album is "walk" from???? :shakehead |
^ the first one. is it called "affection"?
|
Quote:
|
Ah! I don't think I've ever really gave that album a good listen! I've never heard of walk before. But I found it on youtube and it sounds nice! I wonder how they're going to redo it.
|
the original walk kinda had an "old" arrangement, and Kuu's vocals were very raw and young-sounding then. I can just imagine... if they added like more orchestra sounds in, and with Kuu's top-notch vocals now... :Q________________________
|
OH EM GEE a new version of "walk" with a PV?!?!?! *dances*
|
Walk is my second favorite Kuu song so I hope this new version surpasses the original. So far other singers who have recreated their older songs have an amazing end result so Kuu will probably make me happy in the end.

^ confirmed, ballad single this time :)
edit: :roflmao @ the way how she eats the yakisoba :roflmao |
I love how she keeps changing outfits in those clips XD;;
I think 好きで、好きで、好きで can also be translated as 'I like you, I like you, I like you'. Anyway, I hope I'll like the new songs, Kuu's ballads are usually hit or miss with me >.>; |
I'm super excited for the re-arranged and re-recorded walk! <3
|
^same here! its gonna be so emotional for her especially..that song is power+emotion

Amazing news, I'm so excited for this single! And a remake + a PV of walk?! That's going to be a win. <3 Walk is definitely one of my favorite ballads from her.
I don't also mind that the A-sides are ballads. Usually I really like Kuu's ballads. :) |

@tenshi no hane: I think you may be right about one of the songs translating better as 'I like you'. From what I have learned from talking to Japanese people, the phrase "aishiteru", I guess literally translated as 'I love you', is not used by Japanese people when expressing love to people in real life. In real situations they use the phrase "daisuki", literally "I like you" to mean "I love you" (they said something about Japanese people not really being that emotional in situations and prefer the more reserved way of saying 'I love you'). Actually saying 'aishiteru' is usually reserved for dramatic movies and love songs. I guess we will have to wait to see how people say it, but I think, maybe, if Kuu wanted the song to really convey 'I love you' she would use the more literal version. |
just heard your remix album, Zelda-Maker. it was AMAZING :luv2 my favorites were LAST ANGEL, TABOO and Physical thing
|
DLing your remix album, Zelda-Maker!
I personally have MASSIVE love for old-school Kuu. Back in the day when she wasn't really popular, she was releasing great music, in my opinion. |
