So I finally listened to the previews and "Girl Power" sounds so awesome and catchy! I also like "Light Ahead" so far and "Kiss & Cry" is just okay for now.

For those of you who bought her first album, will you be buying this mini-album? I recenty found out about her music and I'm definetely interested in purchasing her releases. But I'm having a hard time deciding if it's worth it to buy her mini-album since it has songs that are on the first album. But at the same time, the mini-album does have new songs and the first press edition has bonus performance footage. Why did they do this, it makes no sense.

There are three new songs on this mini-album (four if you didn't buy Tokyo Lady) and it costs 1600 yen. It is a bit on the expensive side but it's not that much more than a normal single, and those often only contain two songs.
Despite the fact that the rest is recycled, it's still worth the money. Although I'm sure a lot of people here can't get over the first fact. |
Thanks for your imput. If I can get the first press edition of this single, I would definetely buy it since I think a few new songs and extra exclusive footage makes it worth it to have. I may just get this and order the OS press of the album later on since it will be cheaper.

GUYS!!! i almost meet her!!!
last week i go to malaysia, kuala lumpur and she promoted shiseido there...at KLCC mall on 17th august 2010, but i missed it...she is there at 4PM, but i arrive there at 4.45PM, when i come in to the mall, i directly see the billboard said that she will be at cosmetic area deparment to promote shiseido...so i tell my parents about it, and i ran so fast to get there but when i get there, she already gone....huhuhuhu....i still feel really regret it until now...i wish i can get there faster...ICONIQ why you gone so fast!!!! huhuhuhu...i almost meet you... the cover for her new mini album is so great...definitely will order this!!! |

I'd consider buying this, if Crystal girl was included since it was the only song I liked on Change myself. But why not release a single? Avex and their nonsense.

What a POINTLESS/STUPID release. Why not just separate it into two single releases and then take a bit time and make a proper album... Trying a little too hard to create "unconventional" release patterns for the artists you want to make big, Avex.
At least the covers look really nice and there are 2 new PVs but srsly? Those songs literally came out a few months ago. |

damn first press of Light Ahead sold out fast. I hope YesAsia still had trying my luck with them, and while on YA I noticed that the hong kong version of TOKYO LADY is more expensive than the Japanese version :confused

She looks great in the Kiss & cry PV preview! It looks low budget but at least the editing isn't as bad as TOKYO LADY. The Crystal girl live performance looks pretty cool too, it looks like it'd be cool in 3D.
