9月8日発表のレコチョク着うた（R）週間ランキングで、浜崎あゆみ「crossroad」が初登場1位を獲得した。これにより、浜崎あゆみの1位獲得は31回となり、単独アーティストによる1位獲得回数の記録を塗り替えた。

1位に輝いた「crossroad」は、9月22日にCD発売される浜崎あゆみ49枚目のシングル曲で、小室哲哉が作曲。先日行なわれた＜a-nation '10＞東京公演にてライヴ初披露された楽曲でもある。

これまでレコチョクの着うた（R）週間ランキングでの単独アーティストによる1位獲得記録は、浜崎あゆみ自身が持っていた30回が最高だった。
