Finally, there's an end to that awful rumour! I usually don't listen to these sorts of rumours and such, only when the artist confirms it and such, but recently I was like 'what if it's true?!?!' and panicked!

Thankfully it isn't and all is right with the world lol Or...my world at least lol

Though she says next year will have the same sort shcedule! That means work work work! I hope she'll allow herself at least a few days off to rest! :)

where did the rumours of ayu retiring come from? This is the first time I've heard of it lol

Fans with too much time to think about this sort of thing.

Recently it was because of the milestone of hitting 50 singles combined with some of the lyrics on L.

I remember when CAROLS was released people thought the PV was symbolic of her saying that it was time to retire as well.

Its just people who read to much into her videos and lyrics.

I'm so glad she addressed this! Not because I was afraid she would, but she rarely directly addresses issues and it gives me hope that she'll prompt us for more exciting news, and the dreadful day when she eventually does retire so it'll be less of a shock.

Thanks Misa! I'm glad Ayu set the record straight about the whole retirement thing, not that I believe for a second that she was going too. Now I wonder if anyone will bring the topic up again when a new album comes out.

I didn't even realize there was a rumour going around until I read this. ^^;; Every now and again, I feel scared, thinking, "I wonder if she'll retire before I can go to Japan and see her!?" but it always feels like a far off time from when I think of it.

I think if anything, she'd take a break and then come back. Actually, I sometimes think she should take a break, just to rest her mind and body. But, she knows her limits better than anyone else, and some people are happiest when they're busiest!

Well, at least I know not to worry for sometime after this. ^w^
