This is so obviously a response to the Korean girlgroups. The song is bit more electropop, like the style that's popular in Korea, as opposed to Japanese bubblegum-pop.
The problem is that they can't even get their act straight. They still sing with little-girl voices and the song is really fluffy and cute. They'll probably still be succesful : ( |
They are trying sooo hard to be Korean! :laugh But I applade them for trying! XDD

They should've released Yuuwaku no Garter.....that song is amazing. Its a bit of a shame that they have to conform. I guess it could be a good thing too. Give SNSD a run for their money.

I love K-Pop (including BEG), and although I definitely see a lot of similarities, I don't think it's ripping anything off at all. It does remind me a lot of Apple is A by T-ARA, but I still don't think it's a ripoff. I'll probably be buying this lol

SDN48 likely won't ever be controversial since all the members are over the age of 20 but I can see them being a lot of fun with their "sexy and mature" concept. I'll probably order both editions of their single. :P Edit: And, oh yeah, I can't wait for Nachu to start showing up! :D |

I heard Nachu's more of an MC so if/when she does start showing up, it'll probably just be in that capacity. She probably won't sing or be on stage that much and maybe it's for the best since I don't if Japan could handle so much woman! ;) And it's funny that you mention a ****ty pornstar... Before Tezuka Machiko joined the group, she was known as Harada Ourei and was a very, very, verrry busty Gravure model. :P Seriously, the more I learn about the group, the more I think they could be a lot of fun. :laugh |

The chorus is kinda catchy but the rest is nothing special and they certainly don't need a (awkward) soccer team to sing it.

Honestly I've been wondering with the new wave of Korean acts flooding Japan, how it would be to see the reverse happen and I gotta say it's not too bad. Their dancing could use some work though. Also, looking way less awkward would help too.

I'm sorry, even though the song does sound like K-Pop, they honestly don't have the singing voices to pull it off. Most K-pop girl groups at least have some decent singers, whereas all these girls are mediocre whiny nasal-shrieking bats. I don't know any other way to describe it, but it makes my ears bleed. A shame, since I liked the song.

The song sounds great and the PV looks hot. Haven't listened to the preview but I only really like SDN because of Meetan, Nonti, Cindy and Yukari so I'm upset that three of them aren't in senbatsu :(
