:0 I thought she'll make another R&B kind of song with Show Me Love. :D I didn't expect it do be so rockish. Oh well, it didn't really disappoint me either. I'm waiting for the full version though, then I can tell what I really think after I've listened to the full song. :) Preview did sound promising though, and Hikki has never disappointed me. Her work is always done perfectly. <3

Apparently the 24th is a public holiday so the album comes out on the 22nd. Fingers crossed it leaks over the weekend. I can't wait any longer!

For reference. Arashi's latest album, the current #1 album of the year had a NINKI score of 502.20. Also, #1 single of the year, AKB48's Beginner had a NINKI score of 550.70....so this is not a low score it seems :)

Well many people thought the same way of Ayu during her prime and Utada at her... anytime (lol). There are lots of Arashi fans at this forum so I don't want to bash their favorite artists. As far as Jpop goes, I basically only listen to female solos (except for Tokyo Jihen, Remioromen, Kobukuro) so I want Hikki/Ayu/etc to be at the top... but there will always be a fad and right now this is it and I've accepted it I guess, haha.

I'm not feeling that worried about the sales. Hikki has always sold really well with her albums (well in Japan at least) and I may seem a bit too confident when I say I believe she can sell a million with her album eventually. :) She deserves that for her hard work. <3

Well, Ninki does mean SOMETHING. An album with a ninki of 500 will ALWAYS do better than one with 50 in the first week. The exact numbers or numbers in the long run can just vary extremely. I still say this is great news, because it means people KNOW she's releasing something. I mean, Goodbye Happiness hasn't really been a smash hit so far...

I know Fedex ships faster, but I dun like the way they handle the custom fee (if there's any). Last time I purchase a headphone for my younger brother (hikki's headphone in HS pv :P). A month after we got the package, Fedex mailed me a letter saying that I owed them $20 CDN because they paid the custom fee for me. I was so freakin' annoyed and almost wanna burn the letter.

Sometimes using EMS might have the similar delivery time. I remember that I got a delivery note on Tuesday for an album from cdjapan. And my brother once got a delivery note (again we're not at home) on Monday for Ai-chan's Ai am BEST. It really depends on the custom. I remember that my R'n'RC came to Canada on Monday (I checked online), but the custom didn't release my package until.. a week later.

This time if the cd does not arrive on my door before Thursday, I will just download the songs online.

So that's why I didn't choose Fedex this time. I think someone in AHS said that besides the custom fee, Fedex added a "custom processing fee" (or something like that) as well because they paid the fee for you in the first place. Come think about it, that headphone only cost me about 80 bucks, and I marked it as a gift. In Canada, any gift exceeds $60 cdn may require to pay tax, and people only need to pay the exceed amount. So in my case, since the headphone was about $80, so it was $20 over the borderline. I dun believe that that extra $20 will cost me ~$20 custom fee.

So I rather use EMS. In case I need to pay the custom, I dun need to pay extra.
