I still think 1 of his best covers is Honesty because I feel that the change he had from LAST SNOW to Honesty was HUGE , be it when comes to his look or the PV(s) at bay :roflmao

He really looked 10 years older than his actual age in foolish foolish & LAST SNOW man :tired

Here's what I feel about Paradise

Song - it's basically a combination of how Bird & 4 Seasons sound like :x but it's ok , it's nice since it's a mid tempo ballad

PV - I NEED CPR NOW X______________________________X

I loved the song and the PV!!! It reminded me of 4 Seasons. Still not as good as the first singles, but not bad...

The B-sides are nice ! Jin Nakamura's a genius . Loving Loved kinda reminded me of a Koe ni Naranakute part 2 without Sista's vocals

i just heard the b-sides, and my most favorite song would be Secret Love. :blove that song is amazing!! i really like the other 2 b-sides, but i wanted more upbeat songs and not mid-tempo-ish (i think Kimi no Koe was more upbeat, though :P), since Paradise is mid-tempo. but they're all still good songs, lol. i hope yuya will bring a hot song as his next single! but he still hasn't really disappointed me yet! :P

yeah Secret Love is probably my fave B-side outta the 3 because wow it's just so catchy if not very infectious :heart

Loving Loved is pretty & it does remind me of EXILE's Lovers Again to a certain extent , especially the beginning

yes the rapping in Secret Love is done by SHUN whom I guess it was the former vocalist of EXILE because SHUN also rapped on 1 of Shota Shimizu's B-sides called Again which's found in GOODBYE

I was told by my sister SHUN doesn't really rap but rather he was 1 of the 2 lead vocalists when he was still in EXILE

The lady voices you can hear in Secret Love were sung by BRIGHT

i know the girls were BRIGHT, but for some reason, i kinda thought SHUN's voice wasn't so...manly for some reason, LOL! :laugh maybe i need some sleep. :P

yeah Secret Love is 1 of MY's strongest B-sides & it's fast approaching to be 1 of my fave B-sides tunes of him :D

L.o.L from Bird / 4 Seasons is also great , I sure hope that can be included in his 2nd album

Matsushita Yuya announces 8th single, “Naturally”

Pop-R&B singer Matsushita Yuya has just announced that he will be releasing his eighth single in May!

The upcoming release, titled “Naturally”, is set to drop on May 4th. In addition to the standard “regular ‘CD-only’ version” and “limited ‘CD+DVD’ version” that are typically offered, “Naturally” will also come in six other versions, meaning that fans can choose from a total of eight different editions of the single.

Matsushita will also embark on a nationwide release “tour” to promote the single, while an unnamed ladies fashion brand will pick up the song for an upcoming CM.

you look at the 4 editions of Paradise & in the end , it charted much better than Bird / 4 Seasons with Paradise peaking at #13 whereas for Bird / 4 Seasons , it ranked in at #18 overall

I honestly have no idea , there must be something about Naturally which caused Sony BMG to release 8 editions X_X

I can understand for Paradise as it was used to promote his 1st drama Quartet but for Naturally .... no extra info has been released about this yet :O

Matsushita Yuya Releasing 8th Single in 8 Versions

Currently, young actor Matsushita Yuya is playing the lead role in TBS TV series "Quartet", to which he also contributed the theme song. The song Paradise had only been released on February 2nd, 2011 and he has already announced his new single.

The track "Naturally" is scheduled for May 5th and as his 8th single, it will be released in a total of eight different versions. These different versions will include a total of six cover songs, which Matsushita challenged. However, the exact content still has to be revealed.

Fans of the multi-talented young man, who has also mastered his first stage play with "Kuroshitsuji" should certainly be looking forward to the release, though choosing just one CD might be a hard choice to make!

FanimeCon 2011 welcomes Yuya Matsushita as a MusicFest Guest of Honor. Over Memorial Day weekend, May 27-30, 2011, the multi-talented actor and singer will perform in the San Jose Civic Auditorium, hold an autograph session, and interact with FanimeCon members during a Q&A panel. The MusicFest concert will be his first performance outside of Japan! More specific times and locations will be posted to www.fanime.com.

Anime fans would recognize some of Yuya Matsushita’s hit singles: “Trust Me” was the first ending theme of “Durarara”, and “Bird/4Seasons” was the ending theme for the second season of Kuroshitsuji (more commonly known in the US as Black Butler). Mr. Matsushita also played “one hell of a butler” when he starred as Sebastian Michaelis in the Kuroshitsuji live-action musical. Other credits include a role in the live-action movie of Toki o Kakeru Shoujo (based on the same book as the anime movie known in the US as The Girl Who Leapt Through Time).

Born in Kobe, Japan, Yuya Matsushita debuted as a singer in 2008 with “foolish, foolish”. Other songs include hits such as “LAST SNOW”, “Negai ga Kanau nara”, “YOU”, and “I AM ME”. The movie, Kanashii Boyfriend, used Mr. Matsushita’s song “Mr. ‘Broken Heart’” as its theme, and it also marked Mr. Matsushita’s debut as an actor. More recently, Mr. Matsushita has been starring in the TBS TV drama, Quartet, which also uses his song, “Paradise”.

i wish he came to NY too! :weep to see MY in person...i think i'd be completely speechless. i'll just give him a paper so he could sign his autograph. no words needed! :laugh

but i'm still happy he'll go to that convention! that means more americans could see him. :D

actually before he officially launched his music career , he went to New York on his own when he was 15 D:

that explained the cover jackets for foolish foolish & I AM ME , with the Time Square acting as the backdrop

I don't really like artistes that cover other artistes's works :x but we'll see what song(s) MY is going to cover
