I would like to assume that ayu new single "progress" will be released between September 7th / 14th. And I Hope there'll special edition single collaboration with Tales of Xillia like with BoA did with Mamoritai White Wishes..

FYI, some people said that the song is like HEAVEN and part of Me...

Since Tales of Vesperia is a port version from 360 version, and Tales of Graces F is an extended version from wii version, Tales of Xillia will be the first Tales series on PS3 :D

Nope, just Tales of Destiny and Tales of Destiny 2 is the direct sequel.
If you ever found Tales of Destiny II on PSX, it was Tales of Eternia, which is renamed to ToD II to continue its predecessor, Tales of Destiny. Then Namco JP was angry with them, and make the real Tales of Destiny 2 :rolleyes

I wonder if this song is like Startin' where it was gonna be released on the album but released as a single later. Maybe the song is that Who... part II that Kazuhito Kikuchi was on about

It was actually up until Vesperia came out for the 360 that Tales of was localized normally...

And then they canceled it and basically all localization of Tales of games stopped.

While they're all totally different universes, I think that Tales of generally has a similar feel throughout all the games.

I'm glad she's finally getting a (hopefully) good tie-in! I hope this boosts her sales :)!

Although considering that Karma, Ring a Bell and Mamoritai were so damn amazing I can only hope for the same for Ayu's song =D Let's just hope that Namco Bandai will actually localize this game and bring it to the US/EU audience unlike the previous two :(

I really hope for something epic and fantasy-ish. I wonder if Ayu'll play the game after singing for it :) Unfortunately for us, Tales games are really randomly chosen to be translated, and like half the series never was.

But this is, I think, the first PS3 Tales game, and they translated the PS2 titles, so we just might... or if they see how much buzz this tie-in is creating with international fans :yes

Onimusha was on popularity decrease when Onimusha 4 was released, no wonder Capcom stopped producing Onimusha games after that. They've also localized Tales of Vesperia for XBOX360. The problem is that Namco seems to be having financial problems and it is believed that it is the reason why they haven't localized Vesperia on PS3 and graces f in US/EU.

Nah, but seriously, it's most likely a new single written for the game; whether it'll be her leading track or coupling track is a totally different story, but I think it's highly likely it'll be a new track. The only recut track (correct me if I'm wrong) is Secret for that Chinese movie (which I'm assuming was recut on budget restraints). I'm not entirely sure on Depend on you's situation, but I'm pretty sure Startin' was written for Onimusha or at least inspired by it. Then we also have HEAVEN and Rule, both written for the movies SHINOBI and DBZ.

I only really recognize GIRL NEXT DOOR's track, but that alone makes me excited to see if maybe it'll be like a lead single for Ayu's trance album. :)
