Saw the advertisement for Black Star perfume, and the instrumental for the song was so beautiful. Heard the preview for Darlin too and it sounded like it has the potential to be a great track.

Alice was passable and irrc "What The Hell" will be performed live in a few days time, on the 29th! It's time :P

She's gorgeous on the cover. I don't think she'll be able to top Nobody's Home (her magnum opus to me, personally) but I'm looking forward to this since she said that this was gonna be a more serious album.

Nobody's Home is my favorite as well, both lyrical and execution of music video wise.

I totally love the cover of the new album. Tracklist looks great too. Just i hate hidden tracks cause of what happens when you sync the CD to itunes. I've been listening to WTH a lot. Is there any previews out of any of the other new songs yet? Btw, what's on the DVD that comes with the limited edition?

Oh, and have a question to ask. I accidentally bought the censored version of The Best Damn Thing a long time ago. However, now they tell me that the store can't order in the uncensored version now. Does anyone know where I can find it?

You could try ebay or Amazon. But if you don't want to order online, try stores that cater specifically to music or electronics.

this. it'll be their top priority. I was browsing bestbuy's site years ago and for the hell of it I looked up "utada" under the music section. They actually happen to have her albums and a few of her singles. so I ordered her bml single and waited 3 months for it to come in the mail which it never did. Since music is just a small section of their enormous electronic store merchandise, they kind of put my order to the side to those who wanted a flat screen tv. I wasn't even refunded my money back either. To this day I still don't own that single. ;; lol

But yeah, places like Wal-Mart only carry censored versions of CDs it seems. Thank god I got my Nicki Minaj CD at a store called "f.y.e." lol. Her CD would've sucked if it was censored. It'd be one long silence with maybe a few words here and there.

I'll check ebay for starters. Thanks everyone. I dunno why they ever got rid of the uncensored edition... If fact, with how things are today I don't know why they even have censored editions of CDs at all. I meet even 4 year olds that swear. Not like they won't hear it out in public.

Oh, and i like the song "Alice". Its good, but not great though. I'm guessing its a song she released for the Alice in Wonderland movie. The CM for the Black Star perfume is nice too.

@Nintendo: Does sound like it would've sucked. In Avril's censored TBDT she says "I'm sick of this sh't". However when censored it comes out as "I'm sick of this shhhh"

@Picaflor 7/4: Oh and about Utada, I dunno about where u are in the US, but here in Canada her English albums Exodus and TITO aren't the only CDs by her we have officially released here selling in HMV. They've also officially released Ultra Blue, Heart Station and Singles Coll V1. Then SCVol.2 comes out Feb 1st here as well.

What The Hell's music video = fail. Simply saturated with product and brand placements. So much for making a comeback :|

Her album leaked last thursday, although it's due out on March 8th. Most of her fans have heard it, and liked it very much. At least among her fans, it's mostly positive reviews.

I myself, liked it so much better than TBDT. It's more mellow, filled with more slow-tempo songs, ballads and more mature. Don't be fooled by her 1st single, WTH as it doesn't reflect the album at all. I'm sure her label just wanted her to release it so it still appeals to her TBDT era fans.

yeah, she's 26. exactly why her new album is much more mellow now. I think it's inspired from her divorce too. I'd like to think her previous album, TBDT as a weird detour and that it's just a fun album, nothing serious. Although I do believe if she really wants to make a fun song, she can.

I think she's generally good in ballads. But her root is still pop/rock. I like her pop/rock songs best, similar to Let Go and UMS era.

I heard When You're Gone and that made me want to buy The Best Damn Thing. Gotta go find that sometime in the stores...and I'm for sure getting Goodbye Lullaby. Seems like it'll be a good album. Her singles are always good.

I adore Innocence, Nobody's Home, Happy Ending, When You're Gone and the list goes on <3

I love her slow songs but sometimes it's awesome to hear a song like Girlfriend but no not What The Hell lol.

I like some songs but Goodbye is probably the highlight of the album.

Goodbye is actually the one i like least. But its something about her voice on this particular one that I'm not as fond of.

I love how Alice is called (hidden track) on the album tracklist, yet it's shown on the tracklist and is included on the tracklist when you rip it onto iTunes. Hate to break it to ya Avril, but that's not how hidden tracks work xDD

I thought the album was pretty nice. The last four tracks (minus Goodbye Lullaby) were really unmemorable though. I Love You was the stand-out track for me <3
