I have a question for those dedicated fans. Can someone explain about the "black" personality thing they have going on for Run Devil Run? Is that similar to TommyHeavenly6 and TommyFebruary6 - alternate versions of the same people?

No it's nothing really like that. At least I don't think so~ They just had a different concept for Run Devil Run. Like they had Military for Genie. I think Korean pop at the time had a popular 'dark' trend~ So the management gave the title black soshi and it was adopted by the fans~

they just have different images/concepts for different songs. The Oh! music video (that's connected to Run Devil Run) came out before Run Devil Run and they got the "black SNSD" nickname from the end of the Oh! music video and it stuck for their Run Devil Run concept.

^yep, but I thought they might use this for other songs, too. Like the black Girls wreck havoc in the normal SNSD's dressing room and then the Cheerleader SNSD pull out the plug and they dissappear like they were a bad dream or something. They seemed to mock the Cheerleader Girls. Sorry, I don't know how to explain it. But I thought they might use their bubbly personalities for cute songs and their black personality for the bad ass, sexy songs. But it was just a one time thing, I get that now. :D
On the 3rd, girl groups' dietary meals were revealed through the SBS Lunar New Year special 'Star, What Are Doing'.
The show's concept was originally taken from the popular corner from 'Midnight TV Entertainment.
During this episode, SNSD's trainer, Kim Jihoon, revealed, "SNSD fixes their calorie intake to 1,500 kcal when dieting. They eat seasonal vegetables and 5 pieces of broccoli, 100g of grilled chicken breast, and 150g of brown rice, amongst other foods."
He added that SNSD enjoys junk food and eats snacks between meals.
When they voted for celebrities one would want to eat with, Kang Hodong took first place with SNSD behind in second, and Wonbin in 3rd.

I don't get the "5 pieces of broccoli" part.. like do they srsly count out 5 little pieces? it's not like you'd need to restrict broccoli to that amount since it's naturally so low calorie anyway :shakehead. since they dance so much I am sure they should be eating more than 1,500 but it's still a pretty healthy amount anyway. I'm very sad to hear this as well because not only is it embarassing to have this information revealed on television for everyone to see at the time it's happening, 20lbs underweight sounds quite dangerous. I was concerned when I read about their diet because they intake so few calories, so I hope this doctor's report will make them rethink their diet so they can maintain a healthier weight. But while I'm sorry this has happened to Seohyun, I am glad that they revealed this because I bet a lot of girls changed their diets to match the diets of the SNSD members when that diet menu came out. And now that Seohyun's weight has been revealed to be unhealthy and their diet contributed to her being underweight, it should inspire the other members as well as all the people who wanted to try their diet menu to eat a more reasonable portion of healthy foods and exercise.

Same here, lol. I haven't finished looking through all of the last photobook or even the DVD that came with it, lol. I preordered this new one too so I guess I'll just try to finish looking through the first one before the new one arrives since this week won't be too busy for me.

idk i think their situation is different.. i have never watched anything of both of them (except for some stuff) but from what i have seen i get the impression that gain and jokwon are just really really good friends, like.. will and grace! XD
and yongseo like each other, or atleast yonghwa does :laugh
anyway we will see what happens :lech there was a couple in the first season that really got married after like 1 year when the show ended~

I only started watching WGM with yongseo the other day and it makes me love seohyun a lot more.. she's so unique & sweet. I really need to catch up though, I've only seen the first 4 episodes but I like it a lot more than the couple episodes I saw when Taeyeon was on it.. the age difference was too big there I think. I could actually imagine yongseo to be a real couple, they're really cute together :yes
btw, it's Soo youngs birthday today!! I hope she has fun and eats a lot of cake :P

With Sooyoung's birthday coming up, SNSD fans donated 2 million won worth of happy beans to an infant home in Gwangju on the 29th of January, along with volunteer work at the foundation. SNSD fans started donating 2 million won in happy beans for every members' birthday last year. Fans also donated for emergency aid in Haiti under SNSD's name, setting an example of desireable fan activities.
Fans also garnered attention with their happy birthday ad in a sports newspaper. Part of the ad read, "You, who turns around and extends a helping hand to an alienated, dark, and sad place, are always beautiful."
The 'oppa' and 'samchon' members of the Cistus fan cafe posted an ad earlier this year in Sports Seoul, wishing SNSD members good health and activeness. They also donated 1 million won under SNSD's name for the aid project by childrens' foundation in Choongbok, giving new school supplies to students in need.
SNSD has some very kind and giving fans, I love it <3

her lack of confidence saddens me and I fear will only lead to more plastic surgery :( she's still beautiful now but I think she was even more beautiful without any work done. her old nose fit her face, now it's way too obvious she had a nose job because it looks too unnatural.
