I am excited, even if it is with TK again, I enjoy his songs with Ayu. I just hope this doesn't sound too much like it would fit on Love songs! I want something fresh and exciting.

I guess another soggy Love songs-copy was to be expected for a video game theme, but I'm praying to the music Gods every day for her to please release something upbeat and powerful again. Preferably electro but rock will do as well. Microphone was the last song that blasted me out of my chair and I want that feeling back. If the next single run will be another Moon - Crossroad - etc, I will cry.

KOKIA herlsef wrote something very similiar a couple of years ago, and the song was called Fate. I'm sorry to say this, but in terms of Tales of... and anime / RPG music, I don't think Ayu can compare to artists like KOKIA.

I knew it would be TK anyway, his music SOUNDS like theme song music. In fact, every time I listen to Love Songs I think of it as a theme song compilation album. And hate him or love him, all of his tracks on that album are very strong, solid tracks. They completely outshine tracks from other composers like MOON and Sweet Season. So I'm trilled he's working with Ayu again because his music for her so far have been amazing. ~can't wait~ |

A lot of the interludes on Love Songs actually sounded like tracks from Tales of Symphonia, songs didn't give me a video game feel though. Downside is they sounded like town music... not theme song music. Either going to be epic opening song with that dash of RPG, or end up feeling very "we chose a Jpop song to stick in our game" - which is what most of Love Songs would sound like :/ Lyrics are typical Ayu, but anything about love/journeys/fate will work for an RPG. |

I hope in a rockish song :heart The lyrics are beautiful, even if a little bit cliche imo. I mean, they're typical Ayu lyrics. But well, it's just the first part of the song lol so we can't judge it properly. And the title is kinda expected but cool as well. I have high expectations on this song, seriously. I would love it if it were a REALLY GOOD BALLAD. No more of the crappy boring ones. I hate Virgin Road. I would love something like JEWEL, rainy day, or even Together When... It goes without saying, something along the lines of Moments would make me cry buckets of tears but I will not put that pressure on the song or let my expectations get that high.
