Born This Way VS Hold It Against Me
 

Since everyone seems to be comparing both songs...what do u guys think??
I personally enjoyed both songs, but GaGa´s style is just beyond everything (except Ayu)

Hold It Against Me. It's renewing, sounds fresh. Born This Way sounds mediocre. A nice pop song, but nothing ground breaking.

(Also it's not really fair to create this poll on the day BTW came out, everyone will vote for it)

Hold it against me. I never thought I would side with Britney over anyone but her music has been getting better and better especially after her breakdown.

The verses for HIAM suck, and her voice is so awful...other than that it's nice.

I like it better than Born This Way, but I think Born This Way was actually made a lot better, and more went into making it.

eh, maybe I don't like it better. Honestly, HIAM isn't that creative either lol It's just a plain song...um...

I was ready to give it to gaga before I even heard this song since I like her voice a lot more but I just listened and wtf? I think you have to be a major gaga stan to actually like that. Hold it against me is a lot better, but both aren't great and I think it's hilarious how Britney fans think Hold it against me is fresh.

Hold It Against Me has less life, more simple. But it works for it. Born This Way is too anthemy.

I like 'Born This Way' a lot more than 'Hold It Against Me'

'Hold It Against Me' is a catchy song, but even on the day it was released, I only listened to it like 3 times before I got tired of it. Whereas with 'Born This Way' I've been listening to it all day, and I'm still not tired of it at all.

i like neither of them really, but Hold it against me is better than Born This Way.

Hold it Against Me is too awkward for me to blast with anyone I know near by. haha.
I grew up with Britney, so that's such a bummer for me; I miss her old style!! (same with Xtina!)

I like both, but I had Hold it Against Me on repeat constantly. I do like Born This Way, but I haven't had it on constant repeat. So I voted for HIAM.

I like both songs actually and I think the whole fan wars is kinda ...silly. It's a great time for female pop singers, and I'm going to pick both of them.

But, if I had to choose one....I would say 'Hold It Against Me,' just because it sounds newer, if we had to choose on a substance measure, I'd pick 'Born this Way' because it has meaning.

BTW while the performance was entertaining is a really ****** song tbh. The production is all over the place, her vocals are over the place, and overall sounds it's like some aborted child of Vogue and Express Yourself. I can't imagine myself ever listening to it again. :laugh Sorry, Gaga.

I got bored with HIAM. It's a pretty standard pop song, nothing special going for it except for the dubstep breakdown. I haven't listened to it since it came out and probably won't listen to it again until I get the album but it's obviously the better song.

I don't get the comparison, but I love "Hold It Against Me"! "Born This Way" is really boring, in my opinion.

I didn't expect much from either and it turns out that was the right expectation.
Hold it against me is quite catchy though while Born this way is the kind of "anthem of our generation" or even "gay anthem" that makes me want to crawl back into the closet because of it's mediocre composition, blatant plagiarism and superficial lyrics.

Madonna is beyond those two, Britney's song is not good but it's better than the thing called Born This Way... Gaga is so overrated, just because she wears those stupid dresses many people like her... I still have good taste... No way I'm voting for this hoax called Lady Gaga...

I don't like Gaga just because of how she dresses, but more because of her music.

I listen to Gaga but Born This Way lost this time because that special "oomph" found in Gaga's songs is just not there and Hold It Against Me is just awesome. Even my friends love them lol and they're not a Britney Spears fans to begin with :shrugs:

Well at first I didn't really like HIAM; I fell in love with BTW.
However when I listened to both songs more, I think HIAM is nicer, probably because I don't really like the messy instrumental noise in BTW.
So HIAM is ahead of BTW for now. :)

Hm, i "like" both of em, but HiAM it's just super catchy. And it does got simple, sexy lyrics. Gaga's song it's just ok. It's typical radio song. It does sound like country and I HATE lyrics about being "yourself" sung by celebrities like GaGa. Because it's not real, its hypocrisy :P

pepper ---> i agree with you. her image is a commercial image. shock so people will talk about you i highly doubt her everyday outfit at home look anything like she's been wearing for show or outside for photographer.

Born this way annoys me with it's embarassing lyrics, attemptive to use lgbt community as cattle and the stupid plagiarism. Express Yourself > Born this way... and it's not even among Madonna's best IMO.

I'm not a huge fan of Hold It Against Me. I've never been though I think it's a OK song, but Born This Way... well, words can't even describe how awesome it is~ ♥

I don't get why people like a song Gaga stole shameless from Madonna.
