Covers aren't really that good. I like the logo/text/font used though, and I also like the cover chosen for the Limited Edition Boxset. But they all kind of look rather cheap and almost amateur.

It was mentioned that the theme for ayu-mi-x 7 could be "See no evil. Hear no evil. Speak no evil."

Regarding the tracklisting, I'm rather excited that they also got John O'Callaghan to do a remix, and SEASONS at that! Very cool! I also hate to say this, but figuring this was brought on by the requests for a new ayutrance... it irks me that ayutrance only has 12 tracks while HOUSE and Acoustic versions have 13. I think ayutrance should have gotten 13 instead of HOUSE. Actually, I think it would have been best had ayutrance had 14 tracks and HOUSE and Acoustic versions both getting 12.

First time seeing the covers, I don't like them sorry.
They are so bland compare to her other covers.

If I had to choose a cover I would say the limited box one.


I'm so disappointed.

Well I have learned that more often than not Ayu's covers disappoint. Well for me at least. The key is to keep your expectations and anticipation low.

I literary like all of her remix covers ALL so it was hard not to have my hopes up.
I thought it was going to keep up with the trend.
But anyways is the music that counts and I'm not disappointed in getting the box set.

ia. I had mine high for these ones because besides a few of them, most of her remix covers are unique and interesting. but she looks gorgeous so I can't complain too much about them. if they were just regular single covers, I'd call them amazing because my expectations would be way lower lol.

I love all of the covers, the most important part is that ayu's really beautiful and even if it's not spacey they still look like remix albums covers :D

I was expecting something outrageous for tha covers but when I saw these, I was actually relieved that they weren't. She looks like her old self and gorgeous at that. I can't wait for my copy!

Yes, there will be. At least that's what was said at avexasia. They will only have the box set and none of the individual albums, it seems.

The 5th Bonus Disc is just a nonstop mix of some of the songs taken from the 4 ayu-mi-x 7 albums.

Hmm. They're not bad. They remind me of the Ayumix 2 covers concept but worse. I do like the limited box cover the best, but I have to wait for the OS version.

There's so much hate for the covers! I like them, personally. They're not as interesting as some of the past ones, but I think they fit alright.

and comparatively, ayu-mi-x 1 has some pretty bland covers. iconic, but bland. and RMX WRKS has bland backgrounds. 2 of the trance albums have a fancy A symbol, while one has a commerical screenshot, same goes for eurobeat series, only one of which having a not-expensive looking cover that resembles a screenshot

if anything, these look pretty luxurious... haha

I really miss the days in which Ayu's covers were something special and didn't only show her face, which is also photoshopped so much that I barely recognise her anymore.

Well whatever...I'm only interested in the "Acoustic Orchestra" CD and that covers is okay, I guess.

Really? I hate that cover. Her eyes look too far apart for some reason. The HOUSE version is also very awkward (the look on her face).

The covers are OKAY. Compared to the other ayu-mi-x/cyber trance/eurobeat covers, they're just okay. As stand-alone's if you forget the others existed, they're pretty nice. I'm glad she didn't do the duck lips.

I love the covers, but they're not the best. They definitely fit the concept for a remix album. The tracklist are good, but I only care about version Acoustic Orchestra.

I think the best thing about the covers are that they're nostalgic and there really is no "bad" cover. Usually there's one of a set that I dislike but this time I love them all.

I get what NintendoHTF1242 is saying, compared to 3, 5 and 6 the covers are not as good however they definitely beat out the others in my opinion. I mean, she looks gorgeous which is all I ever really care about and she looks like her old self which I would THINK most people would be happy about. But like Pieces said, haters gonna hate. Ayu could make a cover similar to previous ones people find amazing and they'd still complain so whatever. Let em. I'm gonna enjoy the hell out of this release.

The only ayu-mi-x album cover I dislike is ayu-mi-x 3 non-stop. That cat thing just was not working out for me.

The covers just seem kind of plain to me, I dunno :/ It's not like they're terrible covers or anything though. They're very good. Better than the first ayu-mi-x. And way better than SUPER ERUOBEAT 2 and Cyber Trance 2 lol

Actually hoping that "Virgin Road (Acoustic Orchestra Version)" is on the next single. :P

From a graphic design standpoint, they just look cheap and amateurish and not that good imo. Plus the execution of the 60s/mod scheme doesn't really fit with the remix styles. It just looks a little tacky to me..

Agreed as much as pretty covers are nice, we just look at them every now and then yet the music is what really matters. Let's cut avex a break, they're giving us the ayu trance we begged for, so why don't we just be happy with that. I mean also too most of us can agree that the covers aren't HORRIBLE beyond belief so what's the big deal. I'm personally neutral about them they aren't bad or awesome. Pretty, but kinda cheap yet a cool retro cheap

You're right. Avex (and Max and Ayu) did do us fans a favor for releasing these at fans' requests. As long as the music itself is good, I won't really care about the covers (which aren't horrible anyway) and be happy. :)

i gave up having hope in avex and the mountain-monkeys they choose to
design covers so those kinda surprised me.

it's not ayu's fault. none of the artist's are to blame what avex is doin to them
photoshop-wise.

ayu, kuu, namie etc. are not trained in photoshop and/or are graphic designers.
they are singers/performers.

Yes, the whole idea is from the 50th single special, so the albums together have all of ayu's first a-sides of her 50 singles remixed :)

Like the live dvd that has performances (and kanariya's PV) of all the first a-side songs of ayu's 50 singles.

These will probably finish the whole 50th single celebration and we will probably get the 51st single afterwards, maybe by the summer? :P

I think in general the ayu-mi-x 7 covers are better than most of her recent covers. They are not that great, but just have a fresh and retro touch that is at least fascinating to me. LOL
(I like the boxset and AO covers. As for content, I really can't wait to listen to the AO one. :yes)
