Mini MC songs (most are 1 chorus only) (http://ameblo.jp/ayu-soulmate/entry-10885698626.html):
Hiroshima: poker face - YOU - Trust - TO BE - second day
Yokohama: poker face - YOU - first day / Key ~eternal tie ver.~ - LOVE ~destiny~ - YOU - second day
Fukuoka: poker face - first day / poker face - Key ~eternal tie ver.~ - second day
Osaka: MOON - first day / Love song - second day
Yokohama: Love song - first day / YOU - second day
Fukuoka: N/A - first day / BLUE BIRD - second day
Fukui: BLUE BIRD - first day / MOON - second day
Nagoya: N/A - first day / N/A - second day

01. forgiveness
Starts off a cappella, and then the 23 piece orchestra comes in. Entire song had acoustic feel to it.

02. blossom
Bossa nova styled, performed along with the dancers.

03. BLUE BIRD
04. monochrome
05. fairyland
Short versions were performed... was a bit of a medley a la CDL10-11's ballad one I guess?

06. A Song for XX
Felt like acoustic orchestra version. Great intonation on Ayu's part.

07. M
Very jazzy arrangement. Went up an octave in the last chorus and her voice was very beautiful sounding.

08. NEVER EVER
Sung in the original key... I think... sounds very close to the CD recording.

09. walking proud
Arrangement was similar to MY STORY Classical. Lots of audience members cried.

10. part of Me
Hasn't been performed in a while, people cheered when it came on. Sung better than recorded version?

11. Moments
Arrangement was like MY STORY Classical. Ayu's higher register was very beautiful.

12. vogue
13. Far away
14. SEASONS
It was thought that this trilogy would never be performed together again. Many were shocked.

15. Bold & Delicious
There was a bit of a talk with fans before this song? Different sides of the arena were to sing 'ya ga da wo etc.' and the song itself was surprising since most of the songs before this were gentle ballads.

16. Mirrorcle World
The intro of the song had a cheer of some sort, and her voice was very cool. Rockish feel to the song and fits Ayu's voice well.

17. UNITE!
18. evolution
19. Born To Be...
Ayu went down to the runway during Born To Be... and was crying. This is the set of songs where she introduced the band members and dancers. People were really energetic and the curtain lowered at the end of Born To Be...

20. a song is born
Curtain rose, and this song started. Ayu was crying towards the end of the song, and fans were to join in for a 'lalalala' session a la SEVEN DAYS WAR at AT10, I believe.

- The entire concert went straight through from start to finish with no costume changes, no interludes, and no thank you mail at the end. Ayu also wore very natural makeup and had a simple flesh colored outfit on?
- Some songs were very different from their original versions and are more orchestrated sounding with the 23 piece[?] orchestra (Yay, strings and brass!) and some had a jazz flair to them
- Ayu cried during a song is born
- Ayu "changed outfits" from the longer skirt to the short skirt for the summer medley onward
- Most setlists came with this: 衣装着替・MC・アンコール・サンキューメールはありませんでした | There were no costume changes, no MC, no encore, and no thank you mail
- Chisa [knee injury and will not dance anymore], Subaru, 2-YAN, and Kayanocchi were not present at the concert... some have graduated from the dance team?
- Born To Be... is when the streamers shot out into the audience
- There are screens in the concert, so they were not axed with the other elements
- Dancers and performers that were present -

パフォーマー ☆ SYU、KUNI、SUKE3 | the people who played the clowns at AT10
- The show is about 2 hours long or so?
- from maikaru: Ive been reading on mixi more, and everyone is saying that most songs are not in their original arrangements. For example vogue is now latin style, and blue bird has been slowed to almost a ballad. There is no lasers or explosions, so some people said mirrorcle world is awkward... also bold and delicious seems to have some riffs from identity in it. Finally, many people thought @ the end of the show, that would be the time for mc, and when announce that please exit now etc came, so many people felt like "what??" And didnt know what to say. Its very rare for mixi to agree with ahs, but many people are feeling very mixed. On paper, the songs are great, but many of them are changed almost beyond recognition. (>_<) so... we will have to see. On another note, everyone is commenting how different her voice is,like its new, and they can definitely hear the change.

As soon as I saw that you said moments was like from My Story classical I said to myself... I dont care how much money it cost me to go to this! I have to see this..
I think that is the most beautiful version of that song!!
And then Born to be!!.. AHHH
So an amazing set list this turned out to be!
Lord! I wish this could of been down in the GRAND style that ayumi has done over the years... this concert is great as is, but it would be so EPIC otherwise!

ohsixthirty 14th May 2011 04:50 AM

i hope that someone will get the pamphlet with the AR Ayupan and scan it so we can see it too!!!!

ayumasing 14th May 2011 05:50 AM

Oh, I wish I could see this concert! Thank you for posting this information!

Though I'm having mixed feelings about this whole concert just by the end description of it...but once someone uploads it on youtube (about twenty gazillion years later :P), then I shall see, right?

oHellJungo 14th May 2011 06:12 AM

i really want to see this concert!!!

sanzo2011 14th May 2011 11:48 AM

expecting for some fancam!gosh! i should get My Story classical now!

Actually, the POWER of MUSIC blog had an example of the AR ayupan... it is not very pretty, haha.

AyUmIXx 14th May 2011 03:45 PM

wow the new thread!
so ayu changed her outfit for 3rd day?

truehappiness 14th May 2011 03:48 PM

She wore a white tour T-shirt (the HOPE for JAPAN one?) with white pants? She also threw out a wristband this time.

This might have been only for a song is born though.

TeamAyu2004 14th May 2011 03:53 PM

I wonder if she plans on adding more as the tour goes on??

Like each show she adds something else to the experience.. which would be an amazing build up to the final, but sucks for the people that went to the first concerts...

Or maybe she is just doing whatever she feels like at each concert... Like today i want to wear tshirt and shorts... tomorrow I will wear a dress?

ayuuk 14th May 2011 04:10 PM

Where can I take a look at Yokohama's setlist? Haha :D

Misa-chan 14th May 2011 05:27 PM

Naoya seems to have been there today too, not sure as a performer or a guest though...

bluecyclone 14th May 2011 06:50 PM

Does anybody have any Audio recording at least? I wanna hear her new voice!!!

On the other side, i feel happy that they respect the concert and don't film or record with their cams, mobile phones, etc...

In my country... (Peru) every artist / singer that comes... you can see in the audience MILLIONS of lights coming from the cams... it's a bit embarassing because the next day... on facebook or social networks, you can see the ENTIRE concert... nobody controls that...

I went to the Miley Cyrus concert (Gypsy Heart Tour) and the next day i found everything on youtube (and very close!!! because i was at the very back of the "arena"... well i dont know how to say in english... it's "EXPLANADA" it's like a very big terrain and it's on the outsides not inside a stadium or colliseum...)

asmAyumi1992 14th May 2011 07:29 PM

Maybe this time Ayu wants to feel more comfortable on stage, that's why she wore t-shirt this time :shrug

Chibi_Venus 14th May 2011 07:43 PM

...

I'm very curious as to how her voice sounds.. The biggest talk seems to be that, apparently, her higher register has improved (intonation was great, went up an octave during M, etc.) and this I want to hear lol. I miss Ayu's higher voice. x)

I like this idea though. The concert sounded relaxed (I'm mostly pointing at the one costume thing) and seemed to have a good mix of songs. Hopefully this song list doesn't change too drastically. I'm tired of seeing "monochrome" on the list and then not getting a live recording of it. :laugh

rakeru 14th May 2011 09:01 PM

I really love the outfit idea; it's so simple and humble, yet graceful. I think she made a great decision there. I can't wait to see the whole thing!

HilaryDuffFanboy 15th May 2011 12:50 AM

Just amazing! She has a water bottle on stage with her, she definitely needs to rehydrate if this tour is all about music and vocals!!
Ayu said she communicates to her staff by writing on cards to preserve her voice. Mariah Carey much?

Actually, they showed this off in the making movie. During the first AT10 live, she had a senior staff member read off what she wanted to say to preserve her voice. Though by the last date she is doing the JO YUU JO YUU JO YUU thing~

She has said that she does everything humanly possible to preserve her voice though, haha.

I'm glad that she takes such good care of her voice--more singers should know how to properly care for their instruments.

zellyx 15th May 2011 02:14 AM

yeah, her hair looks a lot better! I think because it has less volume..?

AyUmIXx 15th May 2011 08:24 AM

ah~ she didn't change her outfit at all..
it's pretty though.. i love it~

I thought that was a bit extreme, but I guess she'd have to yell a lot when talking to so many people at once.

truehappiness 15th May 2011 06:21 PM

For today's show, she sang Key ~eternal tie ver.~, LOVE ~destiny~ [I think it was destiny], and YOU at the
mini-MC. She forgot some of the lyrics to Key.

relmy 15th May 2011 06:25 PM

truehappiness 15th May 2011 10:12 PM

She sang Key for CDL04-05. It was planned for AT10's MC but was axed. Sadface.

tokyoxjapanxfan 17th May 2011 05:01 AM

forgiveness was the best thing about PoM. :)

I'm not going to lie, I actually dozed off during Moments. You know that feeling of just not being able to keep your eyes open in school? Well that's what happened haha. It wasn't long, but I did one of those head jerks when you catch yourself haha. It was just the perfect setting for sleeping... >_>. Although I did go to bed at 3 am the night before and woke up at 7 am to get ready and was at Yokohama arena by 10 am and then sat around and walked all day until we could enter the arena. So I'm sure that's the reason haha. Moments is one of my favorite songs. :P

I sat down for the majority of the concert, because most of the people around me were doing so as well. Plus, I was seated right at the front of the stand seats--next to the railing. Really good seats, for the stands at least, and I didn't need to stand to see. Ayu was directly facing us for the majority of the concert, always returning back to the same starting point.

I enjoyed the concert, but it was still kind of...I don't know. I'm interested to how it will be translated to DVD. The arrangements were really cool, I especially enjoyed M. It was less ballad and more rock.

I am so glad that you decided to go! I'm sorry if I sounded rude before telling you how could you not want to go because of the concert being so simple this time.

I think that in the future, she might not have any other concerts like this one for a long time, so even if it wasn't super amazing or mind-blowing, you still got to experience this side of ayu!

I also can't wait to see how it will turn out in the DVD, probably much less impressive than being in there, but I still want to hear the new arrangements :)

truehappiness 17th May 2011 05:45 AM

Aww, haha. Sounds like the concert was awesome though minus the head jerk moment~

tokyoxjapanxfan 17th May 2011 05:54 AM

^^ Don't worry about it. ;) I shouldn't have jumped to conclusions. I did enjoy the concert, and now that it's sank in, I'm looking forward to seeing it at Yoyogi too! Still seats in the stands though...

^ And yeah, it was pretty good. :) The interludes were great as well! MY STORY Classical versions of "Catcher In The Light" and "WONDERLAND" :heart

Hi everyone!
Just thought I'd share a quick report of the show I went to on Sunday at Yokohama Arena.
Firstly ayu's voice was amazing, definately the best its been for the past 5 years or so, I would even go as far as saying she sounded her best ever!!
The arrangements were really cool, and fresh as she had the strings + brass section + the usual tour band.
I thought the best performance was M and "a song for xx" which were parts of the "pain" segment of the show.
The orchestral rock rendition of M literally sent shivers down my spine it was so awesome, althought sometimes the music overpowered ayus voice a bit during the verses, but overall it still worked.
Anyway it was a very enjoyable show and it was nice to see a more casual and i suppose experimental side to ayu, through the show.

truehappiness 17th May 2011 08:59 AM

Thanks for your report!

MY STORY classical interludes?

I...I have never been so heartbroken to not to be able to go to a concert.

I am so close to spending all my overdraft and maxing my credit card on going to see this. D:

Thanks a lot for your report! You made me even more excited. I am so grateful for being able to see this side of Ayu. :D

After the report...Canīt wait to DVD concert!!!!

Kashoku 17th May 2011 06:54 PM

Why do you need interludes if there are no costume changes.......

truehappiness 17th May 2011 06:57 PM

Probably to let Ayu's voice rest.

Because she ****ing can?

All I see you do is complain lol

Aderianu 17th May 2011 07:55 PM

What she will do during interlude?

jon_the_d 17th May 2011 08:58 PM

a girl's gotta pee you know.

plus have a drink and towel her self a bit.

etc...

lots of things to do in interludes!!!
:yes

Chibi_Venus 18th May 2011 12:11 AM

It's so nice being able to see many reviews, but I love that they're all positive! It seems there's nothing negative about this show at all. :D

I can't wait to see what other songs she'll mix in. Now if only she would sing no more words... :laugh Just kidding, I'm not complaining at all! ;)

That's because I never bother posting when something makes me happy.

I enjoy a lot more of her than most of you think. Rock 'n' Roll Circus was flippin amazing. Love Songs album - perfection.

I'm just extremely disappointed that Love Songs got freakin robbed.

And by the way, it was a question, not a *******ing complaint.

Taru86 18th May 2011 01:14 AM

It's so good to hear how good her voice sounds! I admit that at first I was a little on edge with this show, just not knowing what to really expect. But from reading the reviews, I'm really exicited about it. What gets even better is that I will be in Japan for a couple of months this year, so I actually have a chance of seeing this concert!! :)

tokyoxjapanxfan 18th May 2011 02:36 AM

During "Catcher In The Light" which was the first musical interlude, Maro is the main dancer, but then the others come out. It was really good. Kind of eerie? It felt like he was a demon or something, and kind of angry? I don't know...don't take my word on that part haha.

Then for "WONDERLAND", the clowns come out to entertain the audience. :)

Also, I believe it was mentioned, but there are "segments" for the songs. Each word shows up on the screen above the stage, and then disappears when Ayu (or whoever) comes on stage.

feel → relax → imagine → sorrow → pain → smile → change → joy → cheer → to be free → remember

*In regards to imagine, sorrow and pain...I might have them mixed up :-\ I wish I wrote this right when I was done seeing the concert, but I thought it had been written already so I didn't bother >_< Otherwise I would have remembered the songs in each segment...It seems as though these words, or at least some of them, were added to the Yokohama dates and were absent from Hiroshima? That's what my roommate gathered from some posts on Mixi. There's also a "correct" list of the words there, but I don't know how to access stuff on Mixi haha. Mine is pretty correct...I'm just unsure of three of them haha.

*Oh and truehappiness, I went to the 5/14 show ;)

MissElin_ 18th May 2011 10:16 AM

^Oooh I see. Interesting. Thx!
And it makes me even more bummed that I won't be able to go! :P

thatstacey 18th May 2011 02:52 PM

why are the clowns back. why.

love in music 18th May 2011 03:06 PM

^bc they're entertaining & fit with WONDERLAND?

this concert sounds so amazing.

AyuWorld 18th May 2011 03:15 PM

omg.yes. the creepy and weird sound with the weird and strange clowns.cool.

alternarist 18th May 2011 03:25 PM

it takes very long for ayu to completely lose interest in something. Tissue dance has been around since 2007 EVERY concert.

Shuyayu has been around since 2007 to 2010.

Clowns started in CDL 0910. And it probably will continue for a few more years. -_-

Corvina 18th May 2011 05:07 PM

Those clowns again, oh no! >_<
A stripped down show would be better just with Ayu and a band.
But there are dancers and the clowns again.

Mirrorcle Monster 18th May 2011 05:11 PM

Oh, i hate those clowns

abcabc 18th May 2011 05:48 PM

are the last dates of the concerts every year, the dates that are highly sought after? i checked the stadium and it doesn't hold alot. figure chances of getting tickets for those dates are slim?

jbrat2219 18th May 2011 05:50 PM

The fans might like them.

What are the tissue dance and shuyayu??

Mari-chan 18th May 2011 06:37 PM

I also don't like the clowns (-.-)

The tissue dance means the flying acrobat who dances between Ayu's songs, especially ballads.
Shuyayu is the "love story" played on stage during ballads-session at Ayu's concerts. Don't like these parts of concerts, it's just... shallow and bad-acted.

!Lawi! 18th May 2011 07:38 PM

Personally I loved "circus" on the RnRC Tour DVD, I'm kind of glad they're back, though they were not THAT useful in the last CDL!

ayumisrael 18th May 2011 08:53 PM

I just saw the blu-ray today and what's wrong with the clown?

When i saw them I was actually amazed, they were really entertaining =D

They're cute too, they are like 18-20 yo boys with clown customs. XD

Bad Wolf 18th May 2011 09:57 PM

yeah, i dunno why people hate on clowns 8c they're cute. It's some silly and easy laughs.

TeamAyu2004 18th May 2011 10:22 PM

Clowns are scary.. lol.
I think the Shuyayu is the Shuya-ayu dance thing that they always seem to do.

For some reason, Shuya is super popular in Ayumi concerts :innocent

Sometimes I think people do it just to be odd. Like I had a friend who just wanted attention it was annoying.

Kazeyomi 19th May 2011 12:10 AM

To be honest I find clowns cute, but not funny nor scary :laugh.
Usually I don't like the Shuyayu too (I don't hate them, but they're so overused lately lol), but I really like it on BALLAD PV though.

truehappiness 19th May 2011 12:18 AM

Is the only reason that fans love cheering for Shu-ya when he's announced during the showcase because he's always paired with Ayu? Haha~

jbrat2219 19th May 2011 01:02 AM

The clowns were cool at first but I felt myself wondering half way through their routine where the hell Ayu was and if she would hurry up, put her wig on and come out already.

alinicole89 19th May 2011 01:42 AM

Thanks for the explanation, Heavenly. I don't mind the flying acrobats, although it's true they've lost their novelty because Ayu uses them so much.

At least the clowns aren't as sappy and overused (yet) as the shuyayu.
