she completely blew my mind away with that new pref at bb awards *.* it was really amazing! it shows how much effort she puts in her performance <3 she must've taken a lot of time practicing with the screen. but I don't think I like the song much.

She's amazing, and always will be, but the new songs seriously suck.

This perfomance is really awesome... but I still don't like the song.

1+1 is just what I needed. A beautiful ballad, touching lyrics, and sang by one of the best voices out there... :cry

I think it will also make a great intro to the album!!

1+1 and End of Time are amazing, and I'm actually liking Run The World (Girls) lol I think it is a fun song.

I think it's gonna be hard for her to top I Am... Sasha Fierce. But I'm looking forward to 4. I listened to Run the World (Girls) but honestly can't remember how it sounds lol. Not that strong of a lead single, tbh.

Always excited for new Beyonce material :) She looks really beautiful on the cover. I like the simplicity! 1 + 1 sounds really nice too. Run the world (Girls) really grew on me. But I agree that it's lacking something for the lead single. Oh well, I'm just anticipating the rest!

I'm surprised to see that everybody seems to hate Run The World (Girls) I fall in love with the song since the first listen, and it was just a demo...

It's so refreshing from what we are used to listening this days, I'm loving the sound of all the songs we have heard from this album so far, with all of this REAL instruments... no autotune... just voice and music.

I liked Run the World (Girls); the mix is good clubmusic and the refrain is seriously catchy. I must say with honest that I have heard better songs of the Bee-Queen, but Run the World is not a disappointing song. I so cannot wait for her new album, however it seems like yesterday she released I Am...Sasha Fierce.

Run the World Billboard live was just.. wow. That was so awesome.
1+1 and Best Thing I never had sound wonderful. Beyonce is doing a great job. I think I will buy the album.

I Was Here is just the best ballad from Beyoncé. EVER.
It gives me the same vibe as rainy day, specially the ending, so beautiful, I just feel like crying.


This CD becomes epic after a couple of listenings, I'm gonna buy ten xDDD

I just can't compute "Beyonce" and "flop" in the same sentence. This era is really doing a number on me.

^Everyone that's on top has or will experience it eventually. She's been ultra popular for more than a decade now, but she's BEYONCE, so if this is a low point, it'll surely pick up for the next album.

For one thing, this comeback wasn't publicized very much. No one really talked about it and even now not much attention has been given to it. I think too much was rested on her star power.

yeah but to become a "flop" the album firstly needs to be out, and you cannot just base on people's opinions, many will like it and many will hate it, i get that, but why overuse the word "flop", pisses me off.

I like 1+1 and I Was Here awesome Run The World is great, too and Best Thing I Never Had is okay the rest I need to listen to still!

Listened to the leaked album and I love it!! She did a great job on creating this album! Not sure if it would be my favorite, but it's definetely worth to buy it.

I decided to try out the album. 'I Was Here' is so beautiful! :heart

They played her new single in the radio, and it sounds so beautiful and rich, the instrumentals are sooo amazing, and they go so well with her powerful vocals!

I'm seriously looking forward listening to this album so much once it comes out!! :D

I can't stop listening when it leaked. I think it'll end up like b'day, where all the singles flopped til Irreplaceable, then a revised edition will be released with another popular single.

I personally despise I was here... it's a very self-serving song imo, and I don't mind beyonce having an ego (love that song!) but as a ballad it rubs me the wrong way. My favourite song is End of Time, but does anyone else hear "don't **** with me" at the beginning XD

Wow! The deluxe cover is way better than the original! I think I'ma get that one instead. Plus I like Kaskade's remixes so it wouldn't hurt.

^ if only they could add some more creative decoration for the background.. it's simply too bland for me, LOL... but better than the Standard Edition... :D

Irreplaceable was huge, needless to say, but Deja vu and Ring the Alarm did good on the Hot 100... Girls is flopping waaayyyy harder than those songs. Hopefully the next single will pick the album up to pace.

There's just so many strong female singers who have been around for a lot shorter time who are getting the attention atm like Katy Perry, Adele, Rihanna, Ke$ha, Gaga, TaySwift, Nicki Minaj, etc... so it's hard too standing out when there's all these girls who are all on top and have been in the business a whole lot less time.

I haven't heard the new album yet, but I don't know, she was doing so well just a couple of years ago with IASF, that album was surely fresh and amazing, to me anyway, it made me a hardcore fan and appreciate her older works too.

I do think that those girls might be stealing the spotlight a little bit, specially Rihanna and Nicki, since they can be somehow compared to Bee.

I think Beyoncé's musical style is very defined and particular, and the best example to that is the first single of 4. Just like ayu's music is very characteristic, some people might just get tired/bored of that musical style and look for new fresh things?

I do hope all those people who went to see Bee live will remember what a great artist she is, and support her always :) She totally deserves it!

I really applaud B for releasing an album that goes against the current trends, and then apparently defending it after the apparent lukewarm reception (if those rumours were true!) I really liked this review I read that said "this album is proof she doesn't need to prove herself anymore".

It's funny how the album seemed such a shock at first because it was mostly ballads, but pretty much every B album other than B'day has been ballad heavy.

I like her new singles so I need to try out her album. She's so hot :heart

Honestly, this album is one big :no for me. I'm really disappointed because I love 'I am...SF' and I can't believe that the same artist sings these songs. It's like, the first half of the album - boring ballads, the second half - boring upbeat tracks/ballads. WTH? There is no one song that stands out.

She's grown so much... she's experienced so much during her tour around the World, and I'm sure this album reflects all of that.

Can't wait for the four bonus tracks. I really like she separated the bonus tracks from the album, it reinforced than 4 is a completed piece of work. I just prefer the original cover lol

I understand, it wasn't my intention to say that she should make only 'popular' music in order to gain better sales. No, I don't care about the sales or style as long as I like it, enjoy it and as long as I am not bored to death. Sometimes artists produce what they want, but that doesn't mean it's still good. ^^ of course, to each their own, this is only my opinion I guess.

The bonus tracks are so awesome. I wish they were incorporated into the album. Lay Up Under Me could easily replace Love On Top (lol) and Dance For You could replace Party.

I finally had the chance to buy the album, got the deluxe edition and omg, so far it sounds sooo 90's somehow! I loooooooooooove 1+1 and BTINH so much!

Getting used to the other new songs too! :D

4 is the most surprising, mature and professional album I've heard for a loooong time. It feels so genuine, like Sade album.

I'm starting to hear Best Thing I Never Had a lot on the radioooo....

I'm sooo happy for her! :yes I'm sure one of the things that helped the sales is her tour around the World, all those people who went to see her know how good she is as a performer, and I'm sure they love her and support her :)

I bought the album for a steal ($5 at Best Buy) and it has been on repeat!

My faves are 1+1, I Miss You, Countdown, BTINH, Run the World (Girls), Start Over, End of Time, I Was Here :heart

Just listened to 4. One of her best albums, I Was Here took my breath away!
