きゃりーぱみゅぱみゅ INFORMATION きゃりーぱみゅぱみゅ (Kyary Pamyu Pamyu) is a Japanese fashion model and upcoming singer. She models for fashion magazines such as KERA and Zipper. She was born on the 29th of January of 1993 in Tokyo, Japan. Kyary is known to have a very funny and comedic personality. Often sharing photos of herself making funny faces via her Twitter and blog. Her debut mini-album, titled “もしもし原宿” (Moshi Moshi Harajuku), will be released in August 17th of 2011. The mini-album will be produced by 中田ヤスタカ (Nakata Yasutaka) from capsule. It is a digital single and was released in over 21 counties (it even got #1 in Finland, even though she didn't promote the song outside of Japan!). So you can buy it on iTunes :] I can't find a download for it though...Well, not an HQ one anyway.

I don't even know how to properly describe it, her style isn't like anything I've seen before. Plus, Nakata producing her music= TOTAL WIN. Have to agree with bondingo that the song does have the Nakata stamp on it but I think it's insanely catchy and suits her voice. Definitely will keep this girl on my radar. :yes |

I am sooo addicted to PONPONPON I don't know what to do with myself, lol. I've been watching the PV back to back all morning and even my mom likes the song upon first listen. Kyary is so cute but can contort her face into some of the ugliest facial expressions I've ever seen. To be honest, I was a bit speechless after watching the video the first time and as Terra said, I typically don't fall for this type of stuff either as I'm very picky about the type of cute music I listen to. Overall, I find everything about her and the song to be strangely alluring. If this song is any indication of how the rest of her mini-album is going to sound like, I can't wait to hear it!

On iTunes, it shows an additional 7th track on the album which is an extended version of PONPONPON. Is this an error or is the song supposed to be a hidden track on the album?

Based on previews: Kyary March sounds so cute! I love stuff with band like beats. Cherry Bonbon has a pretty cool and laid back sound that's perfect for this time of year. :heart Chodo Iino... not very fond of the 'fart' like sounds in the beginning :laugh but the rest of the song sounds nice. Pinpon ga Nannai isn't leaving much of an impression on me, will have to hear the full. Overall, the album so far sounds very... 2007-2008 era ystk actually. |

when singles are so strong as PONPONPON was Im always scared Ill have high expectations from the album and that I wont like album that much. Im listening to her mini album since I woke up lol and I love it!!! on first listen its amazing and it even gets more amazing with each listen, Im so addicted and happy Ill have something to dance to till Ayu's mini is out lol. My fav is ちょうどいいの or I just... but I really love all songs omg. Even intro is the most adorable thing ever
